Like the female assistant who always caught the queen with joe (his daughter), or the body guard who held the baby down the aisle (his son).

I don't know about you but I would like to see a prequel of these series of movies, but it's the story of Joe when he's younger agent, eventually meeting the queen for the first time. Mission Impossible meets John Wick style. ☺👍

The string cheese joke is from the first movie, where Mia breaks the finger off the statue and sticks it in her mouth. Those people thought that Genova was known for string cheese because of it 😄

The Princess Sleepover Sequence is such fun: Mattress Surfing, Julie Andrews making a ‘Mary Poppins’ reference and an Iconic Performance with Raven and Dame Queen Julie Andrews (especially after her Throat Surgery).

This movie is such a delight, and one of my go-tos when I need some serious fluff. :D This was my (and the rest of the world's) introduction to Chris Pine, so no matter what else I've seen him in, he will always be Nicholas Devereaux to me, weird haircut and all. And yes, that was a very unexpected Stan Lee cameo and it cracks me up every time. :D

I did want to let you know that funfact: the ex boyfriend actor really was touring with his band at the time so they just used it for the storyline here lol also: the string cheese was a reference to the first movie when mia broke the statue's finger and put it in the mouth; she reasoned at the time maybe it was supposed to be cheese. what this made me realize though is that for the most part its amaing how many side actors were kept for this second movie!

Fun fact: The little girl @ the parade is the real-life sister of the boy who played Prince Jacque They are Spencer and Abigail Breslin

Chris Pine is so beautiful in this movie. He looks at you and it’s just a thing of beauty.

Raven Symoné in this movie was so cute although WE DEFINITELY needed to see more of them. Also, ‘That’s So Raven’ is the G.O.A.T.

I don’t love how they “normalized” the Mom. In the first one she was such a vibe. She woulda showed up here in Birkenstocks, a boho skirt with that baby in a ring sling or a rainbow colored long wrap. 😄

3:32 ‘String Cheese’ is a reference to the previous film when Mia accidentally breaks the finger of a statue and puts it in the mouth of said statue and a woman says later on that it’s perhaps string cheese. Elementary, my dear Watson.

This movie introduced me to Norah Jones (the song playing while Mia and Chris Pine were dancing in the woods). I had this soundtrack CD and I was obsessed. This movie is pure comedy.

When Mia steps on purpose on Nicolas'foot, I think it's like a reminder of when he said during the dance, she can step on his feet when she wants 🤭 Fun fact : the woman who conducts the choirs during the wedding, is Anne Hathaway's mother and it's funny because it was his father who played Mia's father during the scene where Mia read the letter

This was always one of my all time favorite sequels... I loved the first one, but this one was always just as good, maybe even a little better, at times. Also, 100% yesss to doing How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days - this used to be one of my favorite Rom-Coms!

This film is so iconic as one of the sequels that was needed and I loved. Julie Andrews singing with Raven Symone was beast, the parade scene is so heart melting, and not only does Mia get her crown and her man, but Queen Clarice finally gets her king. This one is better than the first! It is so damn good!! Chris Pine and the enemies-to-lovers storyline is a 10/10.

How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days is a definite must, as is Fools Gold played by the same main actors. Both are fantastic rom coms. As to your question about why Lilly was there, story wise I believe her grandmother flew her in to help support her. Considering Mia was given a month to find a husband and walk down the aisle, Clarisse just wanted to make the process easier for Mia by having her bestfriend be there for her. Also as a kid I just always assumed Lilly always planned to help support Mia in anyway she could as a leader of a country, hence why she was taking notes during some of the royal proceedings.
