Initally I called them bullies, but they weren't, they were monsters in uniform, they were COWARDLY MURDERERS and that includes the paramedics. Had he followed orders, not resisted and not ran, he would be alive today because he would have been handcuffed and the confrontation would have been over. That's it. As far as you saying you don't put yourself in a situation to have a confrontation with cops, neither did this suspect. Neither did I when I was dragged from my car, stepped on and handcuffed. Just happened to be driving the same make and model of car that violent criminals had committed a violent crime in. This is my only point. You don't need to add anything to it.

I was a cop in Georgia in the 1990's after 6 years of Army Infantry. I then re enlisted after 9/11 and retired, all Infantry. I've seen people beat, blown up, shot etc... this is the most brutal beating I've ever seen in the name of law, order, justice. Tyre was needless beaten to death, period. Horrible way to die.

This is hurting me deeply and I can't stop crying after seeing this. It's also scary because there are so many police officers , judges, lawyers , prosecutors and doctors who are criminals. This was beyond evil , these 5 individuals were demons killing this men in cold blooded. There entire motive was to kill him. They beat him consistently for a traffic stop ,no . They were extremely comfortable so this isn't their first time doing something like this as a group. In fact , I believe that they have killed so many individuals just like this but was able to get away with it . See now they have to understand what they did has to come right back to them. The good thing is that statistically very very few of police have ever exhibited this behavior. Cameras becoming more readily available has really shown that to be the case. Of course even 1 incident is too many.

My deepest condolences to the family, of Tyre Nichols. Watching the videos that have been released made my soul hurt. I thought about my father, my brother, my nephew. My fiance. What he was going through in those moments. He ran because he needed help, from the officers involved whom couldn't and wouldn't give him any answers of what he did. How could he not feel threatened by the people whom are sworn to protect and serve our communities. The way they spoke, like thugs, gang members, criminals, that's exactly why the acted out in such a manner, because that's who they are. He was under attack by gangsters with badges. Who will police the police. They, threatened to break his arm, tased him, kicked him in the head, repeatedly, they punched him continuously, hit him with a baton, all while verbally abusing him. For what. What did he do? He was defenseless, and not one of the officers had the decency to say hold on Enough is enough. Not one of them tried to assist him with medical aide. When they realized the severity of the situation.. it was nervousness, oh he tried to reach for an officers gun. He tried to fight back. Really! This man Tyre Nichols was in fear of his life from a gang of thugs. All he asked was what did I do. While he was complying. There should be murder charges for not only five, but all police officers who were there. Not one of them tried to render aide after the fact. How many times did they try to sit him up, and he fell down. How could this happen. My heart hurts, for Tyre Nichols, for his family, and I pray that justice will be served swiftly. They deserve the same fate that they brought upon Mr. Nichols for no apparent reason. All involved from the initial traffic stop, to the officers standing around doing nothing. Even the woman officer in the video laughing about the situation. Standing around, watching him, instead of helping him. How disgusting and disturbing they all sound, making up excuses for the brutally that happened.

Sickening. At one point the other officers release him so that the other one can hit him with the baton. They wanted to hurt this man, not take him into custody.
Prayers to the family. It was hard to watch and I had to stop watching. That poor man suffered so horribly and there is no punishment harsh enough for those officers.
