I built a tank based on your first video and its going well at this point. Thank you for so much for the inspiration! Im planning on my second tank and I had a question. Im looking to do a longer tank with a waterfall and flowing river into a small pond section. Is it more beneficial to have a paludarium with side doors rather than a normal fish tank or is it just preference for the hobby? Thanks again. This is such a great way to express creativity.
I love your videos but I just have one question. What do you do when your substrate breaks down and is no longer useable for the plants, especially the sphagnum moss? Do you take the tank apart to repot and replace the substrate? I was just wondering how you would take care of the plants inside the tank? Sorry if this question has already been answered.
I saw your first video and was inspired to make a vivarium. It’s been running for a month and I have three poison dart frogs coming to inhabit it. I’ve seen on Reddit and other forums, dozens of people who have been inspired by your videos and want to make paludariums (with the shrimp and the crabs and everything). It’s become a kind of a meme; it’s known as “the video” (that got everyone into vivariums). Keep going! You’re super talented and I can’t wait to see what you make.
Hey! Your videos are really cool, but I'm a little concerned. Established Titles is a scam, they do not actually give you a title and you aren't able to own a plot of land as far as I know. Thank you again for the incredible video!
@Dr. Plants hey, uh from your bedroom inclosure terrarium eh where did u get your mourning geckos!?! Im freaking out where did u get it, im in australia i need some way to get some
Amazing video! My son and I looked at your paludarium with crab, and now we have already glued a 300-liter container ourselves. Collected most of the equipment. Planting soon. Can you add a list of plants? Or a little extra video showing the plants? Thank you! Good luck!
NOOO UGH goddammit, not again I literally JUST GOT HERE, this is my 2nd video, and it's sickening to already see Established Titles conning yet ANOTHER creator and their audience..... Dude, you're clearly really smart and creative, just look into this yourself and in a couple minutes you'll see that Established Titles is a COMPLETE SCAM - you can't become a lord or lady, they don't even plant trees, your paying for a pdf file and that's it. You deserve better sponsors and I know you can find them.
It looks awesome! I love to see the work that these palidariums have put into them. Makes me amazed and it both makes me want to try it and not, due how complicated it is lol May i ask if you know how much electricity does a palidarium like this need? (Pumps, light, timers, etc)
mr plant man, know how much people love you dude? you r literally amazing, i always plan my future and ever since youve gotten me into these things ive always wanted my house to be full of paludariums, terariums, etc, i currently own a bjnch of succulents and i really wanna make a little succulent terarium! its going to be the first one, and surely not the last one. mr plant, you are literally the best and you dont know how many people you make happy, have a good day, dude, sorry for this long comment btw i just had to say it lol
depending on the terrestrial animals you may be able to add fish instead of shrimp, or both! . i would go for nano fish like neon tetras or even guppys because it is heated
I just love all your content, I like how refreshing all this interesting info is to my brain. I can't wait to see more. Are also on Facebook ? Or Instagram ?
So cool! If you are following along with this tutorial, make sure you research the plants you are planting, because some plants are poisonous to certain critters! :)
I always wondered how many time something like this can last ? I mean, water plants only have access to sand so won't they die quickly ? And for plants in sphagna moss, it won't be suficient to last forever isn't it ? Are you applying some fertilizer over time ? Or changing plants/moss ? At what frequency ?
A year ago i seen your video - now im building my own set up - tyvm, for the inspiration, motivation, an desire to make a small natural looking environment for my pets! Keep these awesome videos coming!
Amazing Video! I was wondering where you get your animals and plants from. Is it some local store or somewhere online? Again, keep it up with the crazy paludariums!
What an amazing project!! Congratulations and thanks for sharing us your art. I'm quite interested in the 3D printed lid. Could u please share how you did it?
Hi Plants, first of all I really enjoy your videos! keep them going with updates on all builds 🙂 second off all i have a question about the heating in water. its in the shaft with the water pump i presume? but what about the filter floss? should nothing touch the heater?
You should connect this to the cannibal ecosystem, but it’s only connected in the water, so the crabs and lizards can’t come in, but the others can, also, they could have more space. And maybe you could innerduce some fish to it too
Im gonna be honest, i like your videos better than Sepra design's. You only say the necessary info, and your projects are beautiful. One thing i would like tho, is if you briefly showed the plants and told us the species/or when they are on camera the species name displays on screen. Keep up the good work :D
To all the people complaining about established titles consider the fact that this video was made a month ago and the sponsorship was most likely set even earlier. They had not been publicly exposed as of the release nor the 2 months put into making the paludarium itself. Take a few moments to look at upload times before freaking out over things.
Your efforts in your videos are so clearly seen that you put so much hard work into editing and also gathering many materials to make a very pleasant ecosystem in a tank.
I personally think foam carving is always very important step. I was lazy about it when doing my first terrarium, and then i had plenty of trouble with silicone wearing off quickly in some spots during first months
THE BEST build video I've seen, ever. Short, concise instructions, no rambling about your day, great equipment and setup for success. The air duct idea is genius. I have PC fans as well, but I've never used a duct like that!
I'm lucky I already started working on my own Paludarium. Lately after this video I wouldn't be able to resist wanting my own tank. Thanks for that content. Love your work. Can't wait to see more. How ist your first Tank going? I would really appreciate an update. ;)
This looks insane! I love how you made the areas of the river and ground equal. I might try again to let my parents let me build a paludarium like this.
I can't wait for the next video with the animals! Also, I'd love to see you continue updating / giving updates on your other tank. I'm so excited for this tank, and I love the whole ecosystem idea.
I really like your video. You last video of your ecosystem was so inspiring. I'm not (or wasn't) into vivariums/palludariums but I really enjoy seeing this and make me want to build one when I'll be less moving around. Btw, I'd really like to watch and learn about the vents and air duct system but the video isn't available. Thanks !
Excellent video my friend, definitely wanting to look at making one of these in the new year. I'll have to do a lot of research into available plants and critters here in Australia. Look forward to the next upload =)
Fantastic video. Sustainable way of goldfish keeping is a new trend in goldfish society. Interestingly, goldfish hobbyists even looked back to borrow the traditional way of goldfish keeping with no electric device or chemical stuff, but build a natural tank.
My dad had a 300 gal long tank an we did this for his dart frogs. Growing up we always had reptiles ect. At one time had had I think 20 dart frogs. It was really cool set up you did a very nice job on this tank.
It is so calming to watch a piece of paradise materialize right before your eyes! I also find it fascinating how different people have little hints and tricks to make their vivariums work and live so well. I am excited to meet everyone who will call this special place home.
I love this, it's like the artistry of diorama mixed with the practically of animal care and material properties! Also a bit of interior design I guess!
I'm very happy I found you. You're videos are awesome and very creative. Keep up the great work and interesting content. Any plans so far on what you're going to put into the tank? Or is that a surprise
Is the ventilation system just to keep the glass from fogging up or is there another reason for it? I'm doing my next larger palludarium build soon, great job, I learned a few new things.
The ventilation system to keep the glass from fogging up and to prevent stagnant air in the tank. It’s been working really well so far-no condensation on the glass!
Heya guys, anyone knows how he keeps his aquatic plants alive? I didn't see any roottabs and i always tought that sand wasn't really that good as a nutritious source.
Great video I’ve been waiting for a build video from you for a while, your first build video is my favorite out of any I’ve seen (I’ve seen ALOT) but I do think you could’ve slowed down on this video and this one could’ve been double the time, just my opinion, could’ve earned more revenue and we all would’ve loved a longer video. Thanks for the uploads
man I just want to say thank you for explaning your pump/tube setup. I see it all the time, and it makes sense when I think about it, but it also doesent ya know? And when considering filter layouts for my own setup I'm always over thinking it, and you confirmed many of my suspicions about why for example you use the long tube. thanks!
These are always so beautiful, and I admire your work and creativity. I would like to see more. I have a build in mind, or an idea for one. It would be similar to the Cannibal jungle, but have a waterfall built into the back and to be flowing into the river. Maybe frogs could reside there as well as Droseraceae. Wolf spiders would also be a nice addition. But like I said, very pretty and very inspiring💯
Best videos in my opinion. Btw how long do you keep your lights on in your first paludarium the one with the geckos and if the color light affects the tank at all.
Your quality of work here and in the past was so consistent that until you were talking about the previous tank and livestock, i tought this was a recap of the previous tank.
amazing new video! I used your last one as a guide line to build my first paladarium, but in a year or so Ill need to make another one around this size. Love the addition of the filter chamber and the air duct system. I've seen others do similar stuff, but it felt kinda daunting for my first time, but next time with this video Ill be ready.
The one thing that bothered me with your big and beautifil bedroom-paluradium was that you completely blocked the pump, and I would be worried about maintenance. And here I see you take extra care of that part. Great work!
