The tallest high school basketball player, Robert Bobroczky, has kind of disappeared. It’s hard to lose the 7’ 7” 19 year old so what happened to LaMelo’s teammate? #NBA #TALLEST

Outro Song: • Sleepy Mish - Spaceshi...
Here we are, 1 year after I first talked about Robert Bobroczky, the 7 foot 7 17 year old and when I called him a stickman. But it’s weird that he hasn’t been talked about more, especially since now he’s 19 years old and since he was supposed to be in the spotlight with LaMelo, so I wanted to breakdown Robert and see what’s happened to him.
So for those that don’t know Robert Bobrocsky, he was a 17 year old Romanian senior that was 7’ 7”, weighing only 190 pounds. That’s why he legit looks photoshopped. His dad stands at 7’ 1” and played on the national team alongside Gheorghe Muresan, you know the tallest player in NBA History at 7’ 7.5”. Robert’s mom is 6’ 1” and so after numerous tests, it’s been concluded that Robert’s height isn’t some disease, it’s just good old genetics. At the age of 14, Robert was recruited by A.S. Stella Azzurra, the institution in Italy that has produced amazing talent like Andrea Bargnani.
In 2016 he transferred over to SPIRE Institute in Ohio with the main goal of putting on more mass. At the age of 16 at 7’ 7”, 180 pounds, there were some serious risks for injury, for exhaustion, and he would instantly break if someone backed him down. Rob’s fees were covered through a scholarship and so you would think that at top-notch facilities with personal trainers focusing on one goal after one whole high school season, that Robert would show some progress right? He was 190 pounds. The more important note was that Robert wasn’t really putting on much weight despite being on 5000 calories diet. SPIRE had him on a very different set of exercises, lowering his basketball practice to preserve weight while trying to work on all his muscle groups. 1 year later and now Robert was 195 pounds at the age of 18. It’s not as if he isn’t giving it his all, trainers have said he’s fully committed to following through on the diet and lifting. Now Robert was getting ready to play in his Senior year alongside LaMelo Ball, and that’s when news about him really resurfaced. With LaMelo on SPIRE, people thought we would get to see more of Robert because there would be more media coverage on SPIRE. The season goes along and there is a lot of coverage on SPIRE and LaMelo, but Rob doesn’t even play. Rob didn’t play in any of the games. Now that’s weird for a guy in his junior year who’s trying to make it in college basketball. He wants to make a D1 school and eventually make the NBA as the second Romanian player ever. The only reason I can see is that Robert has had scoliosis for a while. Scoliosis is a curve in the spine which could be due to bad posture or just a large frame. Because he developed it when he was younger, his hips have been misaligned by several inches. This causes back pain and other issues running up and down the court. That explains the awkward run. That also explain why he’s really can’t take any weight, because his center of gravity and core are all out of line. This leads to less stability.
Different sources report different current weights. Most sources stick with his weight being 220 pounds. MaxPreps has his weight listed at 225 pounds. If that is true, then Robert really is doing well weight wise. I don’t know how he went from gaining 5-10 pounds in a year to 25-30 pounds, but that’s progress. The fact that there is no news is what is kinda scary. He does have one more year of high school left even though he’s 19 and so I guess we’ll have to see in his senior year, but he hasn’t received any offers from college. So yeah, Robert Bobroczky was the tallest high school basketball player. But now he’s sort of fading into the background. But what do you think? Can Robert make the NBA?

I'm really rooting for him, he's working hard to get some meat on his bones to achieve his dream. I've only heard positive stories about the guy, and I believe he really deserves his shot. Of course, with the medical issues, risks, etc, I'd be worried about him when it comes to hard charging players. I really hope he can get everything squared away so he can shoot for the stars.

He’s not too short, he has back issues from his growth, at 8 he was 6’5” or something crazy, he just wasn’t as into basketball as other people who are as tall, there’s a whole documentary about him he has several back issues along with shoulder issues, if he wanted he could play basketball he could he was transferred to three teams all over the states but had to quit due to health issues

I had a friend when I was a kid who ended up at 6'8". Paul had a big heart and was the nicest guy you would ever meet. The thing about Paul was he couldn't walk and chew bubble gum at the same time. All he wanted to do was play his horn in the band but was forced by peer pressure to play basketball instead. The second tallest kid on the team was 6'3" and could run circles around Paul and he started. But back then at the middle of no where school we attended Paul was impressive in pre game because he was so tall but still couldn't walk and chew bubble gum at the same time.

* The late US President Nixon * Has an advisor named * (Robert Green) * He holds a doctorate in public law Then a PhD in international law He then became president of the Harvard Society of International Law And US President Nixon's adviser on foreign affairs Deputy Director of the US National Security Council He is considered one of America's leading political experts He is the founder of the Center for Civilization and Renewal in America Fluent in six living languages One day ... US President Nixon wanted to read about "Islamic fundamentalism" ... so he asked US intelligence to prepare an investigation for him on that subject ... and they did carry out his orders. .. but their investigation took a bit long ... He asked his adviser, Robert Crane, to read the paper and summarize it for him ... Indeed ... Robert read the research ... then he went to Islamic seminars and lectures to learn more about the subject ... And these are just a few more days ... until the news of (Robert Crane) Islam echoed in the United States of America ... He called himself * (Farouk Abdel Haq) * He says of the reason for his conversion to Islam: As a law student ... I found in Islam all the laws that I studied ... Indeed, while studying at Harvard University for three years ... I did not even find the word (justice) in their laws once ... I liked this word a lot in Islam ... He converted to Islam in 1981 CE and called himself (Farouk) ... in the name of Al-Faruq Umar, may God be pleased with him and pleased with him ... who was the Imam of Justice after the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace ... He says we were in a legal dialogue and there was one of the Jewish professors with us so he started speaking and then started to get into Islam and Muslims so I wanted to silence him ... so I asked him: do you know the extent of inheritance law in the US Constitution? He said: Yes, more than eight volumes I said to him: If I brought you an inheritance law that does not exceed ten lines, would you believe that Islam is a true religion? He said this can't be it I brought him the inheritance verses from the Holy Quran and presented them to him After a few days he came to me and said, a human mind cannot count all kin relationships with this completeness that no one forgets, and then divide the inheritance to them with this justice that harms no one ... Then this Jewish man converted to Islam .. !! * Dr. Robert Crane (Farouk) is still alive, 91 years old * Read it to know that Islam is the largest religion and law on Earth ar.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D8%B1%D9%88%D8%A8%D8%B1%D8%AA_%D9%83%D8%B1%D9%8A%D9%86

Lol you cant "work on your scoliosis" 🤦‍♀️ especially if hes had it since he was young. It doesn't just go away. You can wear back braces to try and stop your spine from curving, but when your growing that fast its impossible. I had severe scoliosis. I wore back braces for a few years but they didn't help. My spine was just continuing to curve. So At 13 I had a spinal fusion idk why they dont operate on him? Do they think hes still growing?? Because that would be the only reason why they wouldnt operate..I couldnt have the spinal fusion until I hit puberty and stopped growing. Surgery helped tremendously. I was able to play sports all throughout highschool just fine. My spine isnt perfectly straight but much much better than what it was. I had a top curve of almost 75°and a bottom curve of 50°. Surgery would def help him out unless hes still growing or theres some other reason why they cant.
