I love how when Rocket jumped at Bacon, Nebula drew her gun on him. They really bonded after the Snap. I know it's played as a joke, but a couple of good satellites to communicate over millions of light years makes a lot of sense for nearly every space travelling sci-fi property.

James Gunn recently confirmed that Thor Love and Thunder takes place weeks after Endgame and that the Holiday Special and Volume 3 take place several years after Thor left the group. This explains Groot’s new growth and also the new ship which is called The Bowie.

Nope. Gunn said that in his head he envisioned Thor spending just weeks with the Guardians, but admitted that it doesn't line up with the timeline. Cause according to _Thor: Love and Thunder_ Thor spent quite some time with the Guardians. Timeline wise Endgame is October 2023 & Thor 4 is somewhere 2024. He also did not say that Holiday Special & Vol. 3 is "years" after Thor left. I would say _Love and Thunder_ is 2024, this Special seems to be December 2025 & Vol. 3 is 2026

i love Mantis here. The way she talks reminds me of a good friend who moved away-soft-spoken by default, but has a raspy roar for sudden emotions just like Mantis with the "Get over the zarg-nuts!" (5:56) And I like her banter with Drax, which reminds me of those hilarious videos where children act like grown-ups and their conversations are almost pointless and they argue over petty things but all so serious-like.

@Shadowbreed Same with Charlie (Emergency Awesome), he actually said it was Mark and a call back to that hideous Star Wars Holiday Special that no actor wanted to be a part of, but got forced to film. He went to say that Mark Hamill and James Gunn were in talks years ago (like during GOTG Vol. 2) about doing something like this.

One of my favorite Easter eggs/small touches in the entire MCU is how the Guardians went from not understanding Groot at all to being able to talk to him normally. It’s never really addressed, but it makes enough sense that I actually think it’s better for not addressing it.

@DeRock Media Appreciate the offer, but I already know. There’s a Groot miniseries from a few years ago where it’s shown in a flashback that Rocket and Groot first met by being locked up in the same prison cell. They spent enough time together that Rocket eventually just learned to understand Groot, and I assume the rest of the Guardians would eventually more or less follow suit.

This Groot is a completely different Groot. He has been raised by all of the team, in addition to being a big fan of Thor. So he has taken on aspects/traits of those influences in his identity. Whatever he knows from the GOTG Vol 1 time period, would have been told to him by the others, since he has no actual memories of that time.

I hope not. Because DC characters are fictional in the MCU. They chose to reference them that way, so they should stick with it
