I legitimately forget that there's a third movie so often. They tried to go bigger and more exciting with every movie, but I think what made people like Pitch Perfect in the first place was that it was just about different women coming together and forming a really great friendship while singing some fun songs. Yup, or a longer more harsh way of saying it is: "if you don't succeed on your first try, quit now. Get out, you aren't my daughter and don't deserve to be cared for by me. You're a failure and I want nothing to do with you." Which is funny because if he's military, a lot of the military isn't about succeeding on your first try or doing everything perfect in one shot. It's a lot about toughing it out and refusing to give up, rather than just you mess up once then give up and get out. In fact, one of the things about boot camp or the navy seals or any of the special forces training and selection processes is also about weeding out the people who would just quit when it gets tough or things go wrong.

yeah the third film was bad but I loved seeing the cast together again. They're such good friends and it made me so happy to see them having fun!! That's enough for me :) (Also, Kelley Jakle who plays Jessica getting a solo in the third movie was EVERYTHING)

my boyfriend and I did a pitch perfect marathon since neither of us had ever seen the second or third one...to say we were disappointed is an understatement. it got to the point where we thinking of ways to rewrite the end of the third movie so it made at least a little bit of sense

Hey Trin, if you want to watch a good film that has good action and comedy, you should totally make a video on White Chicks. That movie is absolute *gold*. I watched it with my family and I couldn't stop laughing, all of the scenes were hilarious :)

I loved Jesse! How can you find him annoying!😂 When this came out in 2013 me and my friends saw it 3 times in cinemas& then we played the soundtrack non stop & went on contiki tour(bus holiday tour for mainly Aussies and NZ around US) and got our tour guy to play it on the bus 😂 Still love the movies & the soundtrack. It's how I became fan of Skylar & Ben & I love that it got Rebel more known in America/the world after bridesmaid.

I never understood why they had Das Sound Machine sing "Light Zem up"... like it would make sense if the song said "them" bc of their accent. But the song says light em up... they just added the z in there. Why? So we knew they were German? It's not an issue I've just always been perplexed by that choice

I dont get offended by how american movies portray germans (I'm half german half American) because whatever its fine but like no german band has that bad an accent when singing in English. Think of the scorpions. such an amazing band and you can barely tell they're german. Its really dumb. But the movie is pretty self depricating too ("the whole world hates us") so I don't really mind.

@Emma Lengel As a german i seriously can't watch this movie in english, because of how bad their fake german accent is. The actors are not even german, they are danish if i remember correctly. Like i don't get offended either, it just makes me cringe so much :(

@Jasi yes and a fact that is rarely known but actually true: some Germans aren't blonde and some can even pronounce the 'th' correctly! I know it's hard to believe, but it's true! Ah I love Pitch Perfect but I can't watch that movie it's so cringe. It's like the writers asked themselves "what would Nazis look and sound like if they were in an a capella group"
