According to Ukrainska Pravda sources among politicians and businessmen, MPs from the banned pro-Russian party Opposition Platform for Life, such as Nataliia Korolevska and her husband Yurii Solod, and Vadym Stolar, have already moved to Dubai, and the MP Suto Mamoian often flies over there to visit.
Yuliia Tymoshenko likes to relax there with her family; oligarch Valerii Khoroshkovskyi lives there; Vilen Shatvorian, a businessman who is close to former Ukrainian Interior Minister Arsen Avakov, and even TV presenter Savik Shuster spend a lot of time on the shores of the Persian Gulf.
Ukrainian VIPs feel protected in Dubai, because financial monitoring goes on in the EU, whereas under the palm trees of the UAE, no one asks where your money comes from.
More details will be revealed in this Ukrainska Pravda investigation.
