I just realized that the reason they use gold tools when cooking are because they have faster speed than any other tool in the game, so it allows them to create the foods at a fast pace. Man the attention to detail is just so clever. ❤

Gold is also highly unreactive, so it wont rust or leave any impurities in the food. Very handy when you have a large amount of it, though stainless steel will do the same job and survive longer.

Something that continues to both amaze and enchant me is not just the creativity of both how far the action scenes have come but also the way the animations explore concepts through that same Minecraft lens that somehow never run out of charm. Despite the fact that I'm like 99% sure at least one person in the figure gang is permanently in Creative mode, there is always something new to see and explore in the animations. It's so full of creativity and wonder that it's genuinely easy to believe that literally ANYTHING is possible, which is something I haven't felt in a long time towards a serialised animation of any kind.

To be fair to the Chef, five dudes show up and ask for his recipes then try to fight him for it. He had to test them if they could even cook well enough, and that was out of his busy schedule as a chef.

That was so hilarious, it’s definitely gonna be my favorite part of this video. I cannot stop rewinding it. The fact that the trades with the cook were not just "trade this for that." But they are like tools the villagers give to the players as if the villager is training them is amazing.

The amount of research that probably went into creating this episode and making the recipes seem as authentic as possible to their homes of origin in the real world translated so well into Minecraft must have taken a very long time. And it all made for an incredible episode! ...That ending, tho... Sheesh...

If you go back and find and watch The Raid episode, the master chef runs away with flailing arms when he’s presented with a sword. Not the Gordon Ramsey type lol
