Yeah man the official VIP was really underwhelming. I dont wanna say negative things about it, but when you drop a phenomenal song like this at the finale of your career and your group is hailed as the sound production gods .... Why release a VIP that sounds like it literally took 5 minutes? Its like if Gordon Ramsey declared he would do 1 last dish in his career and just roasts a smore over the gas stove and calls it done haha
Pure example on how forced evolution degrades the original design's purpose. The original had a different feeling of sadness mixed with displayed confusion. This version just says "fuck that" and tried to hype it up to a feeling of anger adrenaline after regret. I just hate it. If you don't like my opinion then I can gladly say you and the Mixer didn't see the true intentions of the music that gave inspiration to this version... TLDR: This is only good for people who are into this level of BPM and Audio Level but not for true eye openers of the classic.
Or they just like filthy, disgusting drum and bass tracks more than they like Skrillex. Whatever the intention of the original still exists, you don't lose that just because somebody does an edit.
Furthermore it certainly is not forced. You're entitled to your opinion but the way you're assuming intent for the creators and consumers is condescending AF.
Totally disagree with you here. To me the original is one of the best electronic tracks of the last 5 years and I appreciate its themeing, while also accepting that DnB is ingrained into Noisias production at the very core. That is obvious if you heard the VIP of this track, which is the real travesty. All they had to do was add drums to the song to turn it into a DnB banger, and that literally all they did 💀
