They have a place in the 2030 world if Islam dies, maybe. If all religions would die, maybe humanity can make the next big step, whatever it may be. Alas, humans will always need something to explain the unexplainable, and therefore religion will always exist. Maybe future religions won't be so rooted in evil, who knows.

This lazy piece of work, still spreading the debunked the story of MBS hacking Jeff Bezos's phone. Are you guys sleeping or deliberately spreading false information. As for the last part about "the radical change yada yada" ... hello China, have you heard about it? Economic prosperity does not require democracy or human rights or any changes except economic reform and focus on growth.

Think of the countries that are struggling due to US sanctions. People of Venezuela, Cuba, Iran. These countries have totalitariam regimes? Yes, they do. Russia and China also, and accordingly are given sanctions --but they can circumvent those. Saudi Arabia has no sanction but is the most radical, extreme regime. Why? The rhetorical question is just to conclude: the dictatorships are bad only if you they go against U.S. business --otherwise is their problem (the country's).

Speaking of tourism, it's hard to bring foreign tourists in after you have been developing the "Muslims only" image for decades. Even for many Muslims Saudi Arabia is far from being an attractive destination. And finally, the investment we see here is nothing really new when compared to what we have seen in the UAE, Qatar or Bahrain which have developed a much better image compared to Saudi Arabia. It's cool to go to Dubai, right?! But, how to create the same "cool" image and put it together with the name "Saudi Arabia" will be a big big task.

I don’t know if he researched enough, still better than most others though. He fails to mention that the drop of price in oil in 2016 was instigated because Saudi Arabia increased production to fight off competitors. Says women have less right than their male counterparts in the workplace but doesn’t give any examples. Didn’t realize that many businesses are moving from the UAE to SA as their middle eastern HQ. but says that Saudi is not making any progress. I know he’s not being malicious or anything, just under informed.

The Saudis cant suddenly `ramp up` their production as it suits them, all that talk is just puffery & lies from their side to try make them appear more powerful than they are. Since 1973 the saudis have pumped 8.162 million barrels of oil daily that number hasn`t gone up ever since. There have been no discoveries of any new oil fields since the 70`s there. This has been revealed now.

"Once demand declines". Exactly what does that mean??? When and how is that going to ever happen ??? You DO know and realize that EVERYTHING we produce is oil based, from plastics to every single product in your house: paint, colors on ANY product, ALL food and drink containers have some plastic component, every car every computer, plus the world transport of ANY and ALL goods is run on huge oil/diesel based engines, 99% of all personal and public transport is oil/diesel based. Literally the entire world runs on one thing and one thing ONLY: oil. There isnt even enough oil left to produce the same amount of electric engines to replace ALL the worlds essential oil based engines for food and goods transport. metal, mineral and coal mines are run on Oil/diesel. they will never be run on electricity alone. Same goes for all mineral/metal ore transport. the end of oil and some kind of "co2 reduction" is a pipe dream and a flat out lie.

Here's a prediction for you: the government will -blame- the foreign countr(ies) that "caused" this and use jingoism and other deflecting excuses republicans, proponents of bootstrap knots will jump on this bandwagon and blame them colored folks. liberals, completely ignorant of foreign policy and domestic policy's role in ruining their lives, will continue having children and championing a reactionary measure meanwhile the rich continue to get richer because their money is not dependent on whether we burn oil or gas or coal or the sun, but on them making us fight each other

Saudi Arabia doesn't have an Oil Problem. Norway and the United States are petrochemical exporters, too. Saudi Arabia has a governance problem. They're running a medieval autocracy in the 21st Century, and they've been using oil revenues to prop themselves up. And all of MBS's reforms are window-dressing. Real reform would be to transition to a British-style constitutional monarchy, handing the reins of power away from the Royal Family, and towards the Saudi people. But as of now, the Saudi Shura Council operates exclusively in an advisory role, and is staffed entirely by Royal appointees.

@Spin Lock Simple mistakes? I'm pretty sure if you watched a French guy doing a video about America and did those mistakes you'd regard the video as poorly researched and ill informed. Saudi Arabia is one of the worst (if not the worst) countries on earth. I know that place inside out and I wouldn't wish on my worst enemies to live there. Your explanations sounds too simplistic. You make unproven assertions by using unfamiliar terms without explaining or proving their validity. Basically you are saying that a country cannot have a healthy and thrieving economy without international investment, but you totally neglected explaining why is that so. Can you also explain what is the fixation of governments with international trade or exportation. I know that this is important to enable the country to make money but it also seems to be being used as the only means by which any country can do the aforesaid. Hence, making the country seem as nothing but a business and the government the management of said business. If this really is the case, then why is this paradigm the only one that can work?

Saudi unemployment figure. What a joke. Saudis don't engage in gainful employment. The people you see working in Saudi are economic migrants. Strict but ambiguous interpretation of sharia. In other words like all religious groups use your dogma when it suits what you want to do and ignore it when it doesn't. Having said that they have just purchased a major UK football team.
