My son's name is Jacob also...he lives an hour and a half from me and turned 18 last year...I don't see him as much as I would like but I sure miss him...

Song literally made me cry. I suffer from deep depression and anxiety. Every day is a struggle everyday I don't want to wake up everyday I want my life to end. I don't think anyone would grasp on how it feels to not have your kids how much pain it causes how much you lose of yourself.

Laura hi... I prayed day and night..? I would go over his home an pray while he was drunk...boy ! my son hated that .. I didn't care cus I know for a fact it was the devil getting mad..that evil dark dog wanted to keep my only son in bondage..and as a mother that was not going to happen not by the Grace of Jesus.. I SERVE A MGHTY GOD HALLELUJAH !! my son was a heavy drinker for many years...by having FAITH THROUGH JESUS NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE NOTHING!!! It took along time for my son to he delivered from drinking but it sure was well worth it.. FOR JESUS WAS THE ONE WHO GAVE ME MY SON BACK AND GAVE MY GRANDCHILDREN THERE DAD.. It's been at least 2 weeks that I doubled my time in prayer for my son. I've been lifting up kind of intensive prayers to God just for Him to take the wheel , fill in the areas where my son needs Him the most. I've been applying all kinds of prayers from deliverance to protection... all that is good for children and young people and the like.. I know it's a little bit late for me to take up this matter . I was the kind of parent who would always want her child to be pampered or giving in to the wishes of a toddler til I realized that i overlooked something. It is early introduction of a child about the gospel to begin his spiritual growth . I know he is normally a good kid but not so far from the typical kid of the electronic period. Yet lately I noticed a very amazing change in him. I notice that he is submitting exactly to my prayers for him in my secret prayer room. It seems that his behaviour mellowed.. I noticed compassion and obedience showing up with him . You know God listens . Truly the prayers of a mother or a father could move mountains.

My son has completely turned his back, when his son was born and almost died he took credit for what God had done! I to have taken the blame for him. Again it's choices. Yesterday I had discovered a fallen nest with 4 wee little baby robins on the grass. One I thought was dead because of very little movement. I was tempted to box them and take the to an animal clinic. But instead I know our MOST HIGH GOD has given us authority to operate in our domain. So, in watching the parents try to still nurture their babes, so noticed they were not giving up and they would fly to the original position of the nest. My daughter and put the babies back in with the weakest on top. They were RESTORED !!!! A perfect picture for me!!! May ALL families be by THE LOVING FATHER❤️👏🏻🎺🎺🎼

I would like for someone anyone who still believes that God still answers prayers as I believe to pray for my son. Hey turn 14 years old on the 29th of April which was yesterday. Here's a bright wonderful young man. His mom and I had went through a separation about 4 years ago and it's been very rough and Rocky. I left him with his mom until he was the age of 12 and he called me crying said he wanted to come to live with me or he was running away. So I talked to his mom and she said okay she couldn't handle him no more cuz he was disrespectful and she didn't know what else to do. She was addicted to pain medication for many years and before that we were both addicted to different kinds of drugs but by the grace of God I was delivered from addiction and she wasn't. I left about 4 years ago as I said in my son Came To Live With Me 2 years later and it's been a struggle on and off ever since he has got in some trouble with the law but he is doing much better but there's something inside him that is so broken and I can't do anything about it. So please someone send intercessory prayer and stand in the middle for my son as I do I pray for him daily but I need help. I don't want to lose him and him being statistic or incarcerated. I would appreciate it and I pray for whoever is out there and all those that watch these videos and comments in Jesus name amen

my son was drinking more and more since last year, we got into arguments about his drinking and then I just started praying to God that He would take matters in his hands and The Bible says that God disciplines the ones He love and surely enough The Lord's hand has come upon my son in discipline but is way better than the way my son was heading, so I Praise and thank The Lord for his intervention on my son's life :D

Never give up my son was a heavy drinker for 15 years .I prayed every night for him for God to touch his heart .Jon tried many times to quit but the eurge was always stronger it seems , so I would cry out to the Lord on my knees every night please God hear my prayers for my Jon . He lived with his sister she only let him live with her while he was working as soon as he would lose his job because of drinking she would call me to come get him .so I got a call 2 years ago he was drinking everyday from the time he got up to the time he passed out . My husband and I went to Dallas to get him I was praying and hoping that this would be his last time .we'll God heard my many ,many prayers it's been almost 3 years now not a drink he still lives with us has a good job earns good money . I never gave up praying I'm a woman who be lives in prayer .I think God for him each day he's a very special young man . Before he was born the doctor wanted me to end the pregnancy because he was very ill but I told the doctor it's up to God rather he lives or not .he weigh 1 1/2 lbs.at birth had a 20% chance of living but I did not give up I prayed. He is now 35 years old and is never sick a day in his life God blessed him with great health .I will never give up on my Jon he's the most kind hated man I've ever known now my prayer is for God to send him a special lady when he's ready to marry . Never give up on your child pray even when it seems not to help . Wait on God he knows when the right time is . God bless you all

Pray for my son. He was a veteran. He was really intelligent and kind. But for a reason we do not know, he decided to take his own life. Our hearts are broken and the grief is so terribly deep. We do not know which way to turn. It has been two months and the pain too much to bare. Mostly we just miss our son, he is in our hearts everyday and will be there until we die. I have never cried this much in my whole life. At times I wish I could just go to sleep and not wake up just so the anguish and shock would stop. No sleep, lost 30 pounds. We are empty due to the huge hole that is now in our family. My son was also my best friend. Hoping god can help us, cuz no one else can. His mother and I stay close to one another out of some kinda panic type of fear. This is the most difficult thing we have ever known.. God please take me so I can see my son again and tell him how much I love him and miss him.
