As someone from Wrexham, the new owners have transformed the club & really helped the town/city, it's the first time In years we all have hope of getting out the this 5 tier leave after 15. Super Paul Mullin.
I have thoroughly enjoyed watching and learning about your beautiful community! And more about Wales. Backing Wrexham boys 100%.... kind of gotten emotionally attached now and cant wait to see them promote. Ngā mihi maioha from New Zealand :)
Welcome to Wrexham shows why real football is by a long way the most popular sport in the world. A 5th tier football team is more exciting than anything in the NFL, NBA, MLB and NHL and you realise how unauthentic and meaningless and commercial those leagues are in comparison to football.
In terms of actual game play, hockey is more exciting to watch than football. It's a very similar sport, but faster, harder-hitting, and with boards so the puck doesn't go out of bounds nearly as often. And try saying that crap about hockey being unauthentic and meaningless in Canada. Well, they're too nice to kick your a$$, but they'll give you a stern talking-to!
the moment rumors began that Rob and Ryan were looking at purchasing Wrexham I started to follow the team. being Canadian I know of Ryan's philanthropic endeavors and his business intelligence that the club, and town, would be the beneficiary of it. so happy that the people of Wrexham have seen the sincerity of Rob and Ryan and seen the beginnings of something pretty darn special...AND the show is magnificent in allowing us to experience it all with them and cheer for the club, and the town's, success as it develops.
In this day and age isn't is embarrassing using crappy phone audio for interviews? And no video from the caller? I mean it looks like they have a professional TV studio there.
they are in the 5th tier of English football. It goes... 1. Premier League 2. Championship 3. League One 4. League Two 5. National League (that's where Wrexham are currently. They're second in the National League and fighting for promotion to League 2 next season.)
@TheLastAngryMan01 I think US sports are the only ones that have a closed competiton system, and honestly this for me is so boring always playing against the same teams (even preseason is against those teams) and don't having the fear or getting relegated if you are way to bad. It would be awesome getting Golden State Warriors getting relegated a few years ago when they were the worst NBA team after playing the finals de year before
"he is one of the best in the business at what he does." This Americans give the best adjetive so easy that makes me laugh join with the idea that they talke about football without having any clue of what it is. I mean, Paul Mullin is one of the best strikers for the lower divisions of English leagues, but let's be serious he is not one of the best of the strikes in footbal at all, he won't be paret of Whales National Team in Qatar this year. Benzema, Mbappe, Haaland, Kane, Lukaku, Gabril Jesús, Lewandoski, and more are way better that him. I completely agree that Paul Mullin is a superstar for the National League, but not the best in the business. In any case, I really hope that Wrexham get promoted this season this guys deserve it. P.D. Phil is a great manager but the three last goals that Grimsby made in the play-offs las season are awful defensive errors, I hope Phil fix this and this will be the year to get promoted
Truly a long shot for the premiere league but one hell of a striker and has good speed I would never say never. He has only gotten better from club to club. If Wrexham does go up with him there for that season it will be number two for him which show great talent and determination especially with the amount of goals he has had thus far.
