I acturally remember finding a seed where around 1000 blocks away from spawn. There would be 23 different pink sheep located all around a plains biome. That was in version 1.6.3 and to this date is still the coolest thing ive found in this game so far

i got a really interesting seed once, where as soon as i spawned in. i fell inside a cave with half a heart left, but there was a village inside the cave. its so cool how crazy these generations can get.

Swear to god, I got that same exact pink sheep seed when I was a kid. I stupidly deleted a bunch of worlds and it was lost forever and always regretted it. It was definitely in a plains biome with a forest and river nearby, and it looks exactly like the one in the video. I feel like I’m at peace.

I LOVE how this guy doesn't waste time on a bunch of super long + loud transition screens and counting down. He actually just plows through the content. So refreshing!

Honestly that woodland mansion village seed is super cool. Think about it. Unlike pillager outposts, the illagers in a mansion will not respawn after all of them are killed. You could kill all of the illagers and just have a nice peaceful village that's inside a massive mansion.

I still remember that seed where I spawned near a village that was build on a ravine, wich isn‘t that rare. Except when I looked down into the ravine I saw the portal room. Sadly, I don’t have the seed anymore.

That exposed Ocean Monument in The Badlands is AMAZING. Totally looks like a pre-made fantasy setpiece.

In the infinite snapshot, there's a command called /warp or something close to that. You could use /warp (word) to warp to another dimension, my favorite dimensions were the Library and Bridge Also I remember, in a very old world we called "Droight" (we were a lot younger) we went so far until we found a huge hole in a mountain. We played a lot there, even made a ghast sit on a chair, and a sheep torturer, and a roller coaster, a lot... and we even found 34 pink sheep on the sky limit. We didn't understand how rare pink sheep were, so we thought it was funny. until we had to change computers because it broke, we were really sad, but we got a better computer... that world shall always be a big part of our lives..

I have no idea what edition, but if you plugged 'trent' into the seed box circa 2011-12, you would spawn on a lovely jungle island with practically nothing else around for MILES. Always been my favorite seed.

I remember a seed I got a number of years ago when I made a flat desert world - I made that world, intending to work in a desert, but spawned on top of a colossal grass and stone pillar with a half oak half desert village sheared in half down the side. One building was supposed to be on the grass pillar but ended up in the desert and stood about 150 blocks off the ground. I think another building was built straight into the side of the pillar. It was very weird.

9:19 if you fly around this world and find an endcity ship, in the chests inside it you will find books with strange inscriptions (for example: destroy, capture, reinforce)

The fact that this guy tells everything straight to the point without having unnecessary lame jokes and making it only 11 mins long without having much ads is so absolutely amazing.

I would love an infinite mineshaft seed. I've found several intersecting mineshafts before, they just went on forever and ever....never get tired of exploring them for some reason.

Sometimes I stumbled into such villages also, in Creative Mode. So I tried to help fix the terrain or the buildings so the villagers wouldn't die for falling off of a steep cliff etc.

I once started a world next to a desert village, desert well, and a desert temple. Probably the rarest seed I'll come by. The temple didn't have any good things from what I recall though.

The first time I’ve downloaded minecraft I spawned in a world that was insane for a little thing: the sea temple wasn’t in the water, it was in the middle of the mountains and if I went farther I could see the ocean that was like cutted with scissors, i the water literally fell down vertically. The water was was very high and at that moment I knew if, because of a bug, the water had fallen it would have destroyed the village that I created. Today I dont know where that world is; a day I woke up and I turned on my laptop and I didn’t see that world. I didn’t see it never again.

MineCraft has to be the most timeless game. I've been playing since it came out and it's still just as amazing. It feels therapeutic, too.

The reason for some of the occurrences (namely the last one) is this: You use procedural generation and as such some system to generate a seed for each coordinate. What is used in Minecraft probably is the map seed + x + y + z. Now, that might be some hashing algorithm and operate with Int64. First you put in the seed, then change the value via x, then via y, then via z. The magic is - if it works as intended - that there is always a different result. If let's say seed + x causes the value to get "stuck" in a way that the algorithm cannot get "out of" because no matter which subsequent y or z coordinate is given after that, it will cause these chunks to generate the same value in a line across the entire map. I think there would have to be more to it though, as chunks are not generated arbitrarily, but with regards to factors like height, temperature, humidity, there must be broke more than just that.

i once spawned next to a village with a woodland mansion like 50 blocks away from the village, both of them at spawn, there was also a desert biome with a desert temple in it like 200 blocks away from the village, lava pool was not far from the desert temple and the nether brought me right next to the fortress

On a creative solo world I found a mansion who spawned on a mini black forest island, and it seems like its floating on the sea. Its really pretty :)

4:16 I think I actually found one like this in spectator mode but didn’t know it was rare enough to be unbelievable. I’m pretty sure it was a single shaft and was not connected to any cave system.

Coolest world I found is my current seed. Frozen oceon, next to a mooshroom Island, surrounded by the badlands, behind a desert, next to a flower feild, with a nether portal the leads to that rare ash biome, near a nether fortresses next to the pig dungeon, which on next to a red forest and Infront of a blue forest. With that, I connected it all to a jungle. Pretty insane seed, never been happier

I had an interesting seed a while ago. I spawned on a deserted island with no trees and a pillager outpost next to me.

One world I played with some friends had a stronghold right below the spawn point. Everyone else ran off to build elsewhere and I started digging around. Found the stronghold in just a few minutes.

Definitely not as extreme as some of these, but one world I generated had two villages pretty close together (not right next to each other but close enough) and they both generated so that they were built into a mountain and some of the houses were raised above the others and that made it a bit difficult to reach lol. Also one world I spawned in had a ravine with exposed skulk and I (naively) followed it all the way down to an ancient city. I didn't know anything about Wardens or skulk sensors so... yeah, I died lol. I didn't even get a chance to look at the Warden before it killed me. Strangely I didn't get any subtitled warning me that it was coming either?

Finally a minecraft seed showcase that lives up to my expectations

I'm surprised to not see the 8897460229726541328 seed Generated in 1.8 Pre-release listed here. This seed has a village with over 3000 overlapping structures, spanning over several biomes. I tried it out way back in the day, and that thing just made minecraft chug so hard.

The diamond and clay one is insane. I didn't believe it but it actually works. Its definitely not 100% of the time, from what I saw it was maybe 50% or 33% but that's still insane for just mining down and finding diamonds. Also with how many clay patches are in a single swamp. You could easily get 50-100 diamonds

There used to be a seed back in the day of a village in the middle of an ocean, far from land. It was one of my favorites.

Now I also know some seeds I can use in my survival world thanks to this guy.

Sadly with the first seed, since the minecraft updates on bedrock the exposed library is no longer there, though it’s replaced with a sweet bamboo forest

fun facts about the seed at 10:25 --- It spawns you in the middle of a massive ocean biome on a tiny island, with a nearly intact sunken treasure ship right behind you, no visible wood or plants in sight. Within about 1000 blocks of spawn are THREE ocean temples, one nearly complete ender portal, half a dozen more sunken ships... and one of the two islands that actually have trees on them nearby? One of them has multiple ruins with a dozen drowned in them--on the surface of the island. Not to mention the crazy underwater repeating ravines that go down to bedrock. This seed is NUTS!

Small correction: World generation is anything but random! The seed itself is random if you create a new world without specifying one, but the very fact that the same world generates from a seed every time and that you can even reverse engineer some seeds, means they are as non-random as can be.

I had a seed that spawned you not too far outside of a village, but the village wasn’t ON a ravine, it was IN the ravine. There were buildings half-built. It wasn’t an abandoned village either

Update on the skyscraper village as of 1.17.1: The seed no longer spawns the village. However it spawns the craziest looking savannah biome I’ve ever seen. Right behind it is a ruined portal with an enchanted golden apple in the chest. You can thank me later :)

wow and the coolest thing I've found was a naturally generated tree missing half of its leaves... oddly enough it was alone too and on a mountainous biome

I remember back when minecraft was on the 360 and added the mushroom islands, me and my friends created a new map that was nothing but mushroom islands and ocean with 1 tree. One of the hardest survival maps we ever played.

Coolest thing I’ve ever found was a full shipwreck above ground (well almost full, the top is kinda ruined) which is next to an UNDERWATER NETHER PORTAL (you will never light it basically) with 2 ocean monuments and a well half underwater. I even have the seed, if y’all want it I can find it.

I tried the second exposed stronghold seed and found a stronghold with it’s entrance (which I had to dig down to anyway) in a village. Pretty wild, am I right?.

We might have found countless crazy seeds in our worlds but we didn't explore hard enough to actually know.

Fun fact: I once used the /locate command to find a ruined portal in 21w38a (1.18 snapshot) and There was an ocean monument instead

I played Minecraft growing up but seeing how much of a change it’s brought in thinking about buying it lol

World generation is NOT random, it used PROCEDURAL Generation, meaning it follows rules. There's so many combinations, it appears random, or Quasi-Random. This is why you use the same seed as someone else on the same platform (and version), you get the exact same world.

I have a custom world gen mod where I move the sealevel to like 48 blocks. The temples spawn, but at higher than 48 blocks resulting into a tall structure.

This is why it’s fun to just fly around in your world in an elytra for like an hour in one direction. You’ll almost always find some whack generation.

My friend and I were exploring around our world, trying to find an ice spikes biome. We got distracted, because it's Minecraft, and we found a ravine that went all the way down to I'm pretty sure Y 11, and in this ravine was a mineshaft with a fossil in it. I'll try and find the world seed again, because it's cool.

I just started a world with the experimental mode 'caves and cliffs' turned on. At first, I thought that it was glitched and there was no diamonds OR underground lava. But no. I found them. Starting at Y -32. Yes. NEGATIVE 32. There are some insanely deep caves in that mode.

Imagine having a seed that the village, the stronghold, the desert temple, the ocean monumemt, the woodland mansion, the nether fortress, the bastion, and the end city all spawn in the same location

The generator picks the seed by depending on the time and date. Almost impossible to get the same seed without typing something into the seed box.

With full honesty I randomly came across the seed that spawns you inside the mansion with the tall grass air gap, I had no clue what happened and I tried mining out but the first block I mined was more cobblestone, so of course I did an action that can't be undone I used cheats to go into spectator and fly myself out to notice that. The thought of it being rare never came across until now. Now I wish I had mention it before.

Also, in the repeated ravine seed, there are diamonds so if you have a bucket of water to turn the lava to obsidian, you have an unlimited supply of diamonds

4:44, I literally had the same thing happen to me. Like seriously, the stronghold was underneath my spawn point and I had the perfect villagers in the village close by.

Ig another seed fact I learned, there’s a speedrun category to collect all variations of wood as fast as possible, there’s a seed with all the necessary wood biomes next to each other, even the nether wood. There’s a ruin portal nearby, completable with the rest of the obsidian in the chest.

(The seed is -7033561600937491423 on 1.18) This seed spawns you on a beach right next to a jungle biome. If you look far enough you'll see a lava source block burning down trees. If you start swimming or boating after around 15-20 blocks turn left and then youll get to a shipwreck with terrible loot, underwater ruins, and an ocean monument. This seed is truly insane. (Remember that this seed is for 1.18)

I have on my first ever world created 4 water temples (2 of them like very close, on render distance of each other) and three different mushroom biomes (one is normal, the other is pretty big, and the other one is lime just a spot on the water). All within like 1000 blocks from spawn

I remember I saw a diamonds trick on reddit for 1.17 involving lapis ores. Either I suck at math or it didn't work (both on 1.17 and 1.17.1). So now I'm gonna try the clay trick on 1.17.1 (and yes I saw you use 1.16.4 for that trick but eh)

The badlands monument seed might be the coolest seed I've ever seen!

The stronghold staircase showing up above ground looks so cool, I think that's how it should be in the actual game instead of the staircase just leading nowhere

I remember getting a seed where my friend and I spawned near a desert and in it was about 7 desert temples and villages that were slightly close to each other.

Me and my brother found a really weird seed, some years ago. He spawned in a plain world and he started walking, then he found a huge wall and behind there was actually a normal world, not plain as the rest of it. It was really weird so he showed me, sadly we lost the world

I remember back in the early days of pocket edition one of my worlds had a glitch and half of the land was in sunken in rectangular pockets almost like player-made zoo exhibits without animals.

Sipover: *wow, floating islands in minecraft, so weird!!!* Terraria players: it looks completly normal

Back in 2015 i played minecraft pocket edition on my samsung, i wanted to create a new survival world but i spawned on a island in the middle of the ocean. Not bad at all bcs there was some tree's and a cave, the land scape was cool so i decided to survive it all, with the shitty 6 chunk render distance, i found out there were some other islands nearby and i started conecting them. One of my best survival worlds.
