"I've missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed." - Michael Jordan
MJ really did stop a whole generation of ball players from winning championships & fostered a new generation that wanted to be just like him
Don't care what anyone says, that was the golden age of the NBA. Every team had a mega star but then there was MJ, not getting past him. What a great time to be a Chicagoan

So poetic. The undisputed GOAT. May be another 100 years until there’s another person close to MJ. Plus he played in the toughest era in the NBA. The greatest basketball player of all time.

Stockton was a beast! When he hit that three point in the end, I thought it was over...... but MJ doing GOAT things. I still have the DVD of all the Bulls dynasty.
Смотрел когда мне было 13 лет в 1998 году этот финал с замиранием сердца и слезами радости за победу Майкла ! А сейчас смотрю 2022 году и мне уже 37 и тоже слёзы на глазах .

Why am I still on the edge of my seat knowing exactly what's going to happen. One of the greatest finals in NBA history.

watched this live a week out of 8th grade - still leaves me in awe 24 years later. others come close, but this is still probably the most clutch, iconic, historically significant couple minutes of individual basketball effort i know of. Phil nailed it afterward - "beautiful"
One of the greatest shots ever by the GOAT Michael Jordan. I get chills every time I see this game...every time.

Jordan in 30 seconds, driving Layup, game changing steal and a finisher mid range shot. the Goat 🐐 🙌🏾
John Doe
MJ hits a quick layup, then makes the steal, then crosses the hell out of Russell, THEN buries the game winning shot. LEGEND.
Stewart Callaway
This dude came through in the biggest moments, still have yet to see a player who has done more in big games

Michael, if you look at him closely he looks like greatness in a unexplainable way. His face, how he carries himself, his assertness, his eyes, everything about him this guy was gonna be great at something....There's something about him that's obsessed with control and power. And ironically that's something he needed to be the greatest....and rhe greatest to ever touch a basketball he is....
Unfortunately, I never got the chance to watch Michael Jordan play live. I was born in 01. One thing I can do is watch tapes and just admire him. In my opinion, he’s the greatest basketball player of all time. Records and milestones are meant to be broken, he will always be the best.

Funny how after 23 years later this is still rated as the most watched game in NBA history, it's not hard to see why.
