Lionel Messi - The Art of Passing - HD #LionelMessi Fad3nHD Production Lionel Messi - passing skills, best assists, passes and playmaking! Thanks for watching!
Messi is basically Maradona with Pele's goal scoring. For the life of me, I can't understand how a goal poacher (With a worse goal/game ratio) gets compared to him.
The greatest genius that football has ever produced. Divine talent, endless IQ, unparalleled technique, extraordinary vision, infinite ability to improvise, etc. Magician, absolute genius!
You never saw Maradona. His vision is realluy of another world and in fact he was a better player then Messi. If you look at the footage and see how many times Maradona dodges massive attacks on his legs and how little that has happened to Messi and others these times, you appreaciate Maradona even more. I have seen both from start to finish and I have to be honest that I wonder how people can even compare Messi to Maradona. The gap in ability is pretty evident and that is telltale because Messi indeed is a superlative player.
@@Serenoj69 I watched Maradona between 1992 and 1997 in real time as a child, and as an adult I saw several complete (prime) Maradona games in VT through youtube. Maradona was a super genius, too. A monster of unpredictability and talent. Which doesn't negate the fact that Messi was also a super genius. It's not about exclusionary things. Both absolute geniuses!
@@danielsan2142 I think it is best to see everyone in their time since comparing remains difficult. Having said that, I stand by my remarks (which I did not make here may be) that maradona had a lot a lot tougher times than Messi did in various ways but most of all by defenders that could almost do eveyrthing they wanted and rarely get a card. Messi really does not face that problem. Maradona was in his prima from 1978-1990 with a clear peak between 85 and 89. And of course this is subjective, so people can have theur own opinion and be perfectly right.
@@Serenoj69 Messi does face the same problems as Maradona ! The card rules have developed just as the game has and defenders now a days commit more technical fouls ! Messi was very injury prone in the beginning of his career due to his explosive speed as defenders found it easier to foul him using his speed ! Thank-fully Barca and Pep found the solution and Messi has learned to avoid even double footed challenges, 3-4 on one challenges ! So it is more of Messi's skill to avoid the challenges rather than absorbing them! Messi's longevity is also a testimony of his greatness !
@@gomessylvester205 Not really. What you saw in the 80s (and probably 70s and 60s also) you simply rarely see in the 2000s let alone that such charges are left without any penalty to thje offender (mostly a defender btw). Maradona was excellent at ducking charge after charge and only got hit seriously once by the Butcher of Bilbao, Andoni Goicoechea. In fact, yesterday on the Dutch tele there was a discussion on how defenders have changed their behaviour and are now going towards offenders with their hands on their backs in order to avoid penalties for instance. You can see that people walking with hands on their backs are hampered since our arms are there to give us maximum balance. Which is left now. And we could see how Messi slalomed through no less than four defenders all with their hands on their backs and barely touching hum, yet using apologetic gestures at the ref (I did not touch him!) in order to avoid a penaltykick. These gestures came even when Messi just went trhough like they weren't there, so he was not even remotely close to being fouled. Don't tell me that all this is due to Messi's great skills (which are undoubtedly true btw). this has all to do with a change in rules in which defenders are fouled far more often for far less than ever before.
He can easily play until his 40s. I think at last he will play in the midfield, like a Xavi. I can't believe his vision is real. He can see passes that we can't see on TV! GOAT
@@akbarkhonvariskhanov6618 As a player, nope. On field, you usually have to act on impulse and you don't have much time to look around for open players. That's why I am always in awe to see Messi play like that because it is very hard to create such chances on the field. Messi's vision is borderline godlike
doubt it, he already dropped down to mls, unless he goes back to barca (considering that he refuses to play for any other team in europe) he will probably retire after the 2026 wc :(
Very Sad day soon when messi rertire from football honestly i also retire from seeing any football game, hope. Messi can do the very best in next copa america n next world cup
Weak in heading, weak in right foot, weak in shooting (his farthest goals only 20 yard from the nett while other player could score in 40 yard from the nett), failed with national team, never changing club, most of his position only Right Winger.
Khrisna Wati why does he have 6 ballon d’ors (which is the most in the world). He scored a hatrick with his weak foot, and what do you mean weak in shooting, does not matter how far you score from (he got 92 goals in a year, the most), he is amazing in the national team, his teammates are just bad, he doesn’t change clubs because of his family and does it matter? And his position is a right winger why would you move his position, you don’t make a defender a striker.
Khrisna Wati he has the most goals scored from the outside of the box in the last 2 or 3 consecutive seasons. Everyone in the world knows that he will shift to his left yet no one stops it. He is the most complete. He is the greatest
I don't even get it, how do Ronaldo fans even compare him to this little genius. It's madness and absurd. This guy was something else and he is still killing it.. Goat for a reason.
Zidane and xavi are called legends just because of their playmaking skills. They were really good at passing but in my opinion messi is better the vision this guy have is outrageous.
As Gary Lineker said: "the best passer i've ever seen, the best goal scorer I've ever seen, the best dribbler I've ever seen"... And as someone else also said "better goal scorer than Gerd Muller, better dribbler than Maradona, better passing than Xavi Hernandez, better ball control than Andres Iniesta, etc"
Always had incredible short passing/first touch passing, especially with Xavi and Iniesta, but his improvement in his long passing and through balls has been astonishing. In the last couple of seasons he seems to have improved upon the weight of his long passes and through balls, until now they are pretty much perfect. Best player of all time, no doubt.
Maradona was really on a completely different level. I think he was better and when it comes to vision and passing a lot better than Messi. His skills were by far more superior. In total it is not even a comparison.
Still watching this video day in day out and try to learn from it, to take notes. But you know what, what Messi does is incomparable. This guy’s a genius. Magical ball touches and the most complete player ever in terms of vision, ball control, dribbles, passing and scoring ability. Messi has it all. No Ronaldo, No Maradona, No Pele or Zidane had what Messi has. The best ever in my opinion. Pure joy to watch. Thanks for inspiring so many kids and people on this earth Leo. Let the feet speak. Legend. GOAT.
Well... I guess for millennials may be. But I have seen a Diego MAradona who was leaps and bounds better than Messi. But in this era we are desperate to call someone from this era the GOAT. It seems to be a hype. I can't say that, I never saw DiStefano or Pele. I can say that from what I have seen, Maradona was completely in a class of his own. May be Messi, as a number 2 (from what I saw) is also in a class of his own in the sense that he did not reach the level of Diego but also no one reached his level.
In a lifetime there are a handful of exceptionally gifted people who come around, Lionel Messi is “all” of them put together. Legend doesn’t even come close. 🥇⚽️🥇⚽️🥇⚽️
When you see a player do a clean finish and rather runs to celebrate the person who assisted him, it is because some of those passes are unreal. You need to be worthy to receive such a pass from such a vision-gifted player. It is so difficult to ignore the things this man does on the pitch. Messi is unbelievable. His game is a religion that needs to be preached to the ends of the end.
Show this to someone who’s never watched football they would assume he is one of the best playmakers, but wouldn’t know that he’s also the best goal scorer
Don't get me wrong De Bruyne is one of the best playmakers of the world but Messi is simply the Greatest Playmaker of all time imo... Oh and the G.O.A.T 👑⚽️
At the moment De Bruyne is on another level. Overall, I'd say Xavi, Iniesta, Laudrup, Zidane are better. Messi too is one of the GOAT playmaker, however, all his passes are more or less similar, diagonal lob over the defense or through balls.
I think the people who compare De Bruyne with Messi are the ones doing the most damage to him. It makes you realise all the things De Bruyne never does or has never done and which are routine for Messi.
2:06 just watch this, I can't explain it it's so unreal, I can never understand how anyone can be compared to such a visionary and master codebreaker, he can't be human
He is the best passer, dribbler, creative playmaker and finisher I have ever seen. Astounding. Most players don't even see these kinds of passes, he plays multiple every game like this. Genius.
He is great! We should be happy that we are able to see him live! I will tell my kids of him... But they won't have seen him ever. This amazing Player!
This might be the most astonishing video on TRvid. Every young footballer should see this to understand the creative limits one can reach in this sport.
Messi is a complete team player... He can score, dribble, provide unreal passes, assists & even he's also a playmaker... You can't find so many dimensions of gameplay in one single player without Messi...
By far, the best attribute of his current game, and my favourite attribute as well. His playmaking is just beyond imagination. Imo, he is one of the 2 best goalscorers of all time (along with Cristiano), the best dribbler of all time (followed by Inter R9 and Maradona) and one of the best playmakers ever (along with Laudrup, Maradona, Zidane, Xavi, Iniesta and Pirlo). How he has managed to keep all these aspects of his game at the very top for more than a decade is just beyond human understanding and beyond Science. Simply the GOAT. 🐐 🐐 🐐
@@mohibullahshahid6741 Is it though, Kroos, Modric, Xavi, Iniesta, Zidane, Ozil, Pirlo all have less assists than Suarez, does that mean Suarez is a better playmaker than everybody in the list? Playmaking means dictating the game, linking up play, creating and finding space, ofcourse I don't expect a Ronaldo fan to understand things which actually require watching football instead of the score sheet but atleast try, its more enjoyable that way
Never ever get tired of watching any Messi videos, this passing one is exceptional. That outrageously amazing penalty pass is a classic, you'll never see that done again.
Es lo mejor que he visto jugando al fútbol. Lionel Messi es sencillamente increíble e insuperable controlando un balon y haciendo arte y poesía con el. Sé que nunca volveré a ver un jugador igual que él.
A lot of players can pass accurate but there is ajother main point, Messi also calculates the speed of teammates, location of defenders, and he passes at critical moment, second before outside, so he can won his teammates more time to do something
One of the greatest passers the game has ever seen, one of the greatest dribblers the game has ever seen and one of the greatest goalscorers the game has ever seen.Messi is the complete package.Undisputed GOAT 🐐👑
The best dribbler by far not even close The best playmaker he can run the game The best passer incredible Not to mention the best goal scorer What else do you need to be the goat
messi is the goat and his passing is underrated but suarez walks are also underrated. look at his movement at 1:05 not many strikers are that intelligent
I dont know how they even compare ronaldo with this genius...magician..the greatest of all time ... leo messi.. The best there is...the best there was ..the best there ever will be....
