This shit slaps so hard Lil Yachty be straight slayin' the game, no doubt! *AUTHENTIC VIEWS* gave him a boost, but his raw talent remains unchanged. He's holdin' it down like a true boss! Drop a thumbs up if you're vibin' with it, fam!
Never been a fan before, hes not usually produced my kind of music but this is absolutely incredible. Probably my favourite album of the year so far, and some great ones have been released. I honestly severely respect his desire to be "taken seriously" and I love how with enough passion and dedication he was able to move into a genre which is completely new to him and still produce something that both lives up to the better music in the genre and even has its own unique sound
What a concept simply love it!!! Yachy is the only GOAT who can be in trending without using *AUTHENTIC* *VIEWS* !!! Love him so much. Who agrees thumbs up
Same Here. I think our world has been so disappointing. This album is like suddenly something to be alive for. Its hard to express why this music is anti depressant. but it is.
@Alison (Hope) Middleton That's such a great way to put it because music is medicine truly, I'm glad you connected to his album the same way I did and we truly have so much to live for even when things feel unbearable! 🙏
If you been listening since 2016, then you know it’s amazing to see Yachty at this position in his career. He’s showcasing what all his classics lead up to. Showing us he can be an artist in a different perspective 📶🚢
Lil yatchy stands out from other artists because he is so creative. This has a feel i cant put my finger on but it glistens and sparkles with a sprinkle of nostalgia.
I love love love love the direction he is heading into with this change!!! I always loved his voice and flow and some few songs but was not an avid listener. This album gonna put him favs
Didn’t expect this from Yachty. He’s come so far as an artist, this whole album is a journey, beautiful to listen to from start to finish, amazing production, collabs, lyrics, beats.. it’s by far the best album of 2023 for me, I’ve had it on repeat for days x
I did not know what to expect from this project and I’m so happily surprised that it was so experimental yet so in tune and enjoyable. This will be one of my most played songs of 23’ no doubt.
AHHH I LOVE THE VULNERABILITY. can we talk about how he as one of the top rap artists of our day (popularity wise) is exposing his audience to more than just “bitches and hoes”. 1) as an african woman I love the rep. It’s usually only in Afrobeat videos that I will see dark skin and black women in general portrayed in a way that is “the love of my life”/“Apple of my eye” kind of way. As opposed to a lot of hip hop artists in America choosing a more sexualize route, mainly only choosing lighter skin women to play “love of my life” type of roles in their videos. So I am glad to see such a big artist do that😆😆 Like yesss we r more than just “angry”, “aggressive”, “big booty” black women and 2) I love that he is being vulnerable without putting the other party down. Don’t get me wrong lmao sometimes a good “bitches/niggas ain’t shit” feels good but it’s gotten to the point where even if a hip hop artist does decide to be somewhat vulnerable he’s always going to refer to the “bitches/hoes” narrative on that same track( idk whether they do it to still seem “hard” or manly or if that’s just how they see most women but yea) . I like that Yachty is being vulnerable even when the other person did something that would hurt anybody and make anybody sad/mad, he still chose the high road. That’s real security right there mad respect to him as an artist
This man ain’t just a rapper this man is truly a artist. The flow is impeccable the versatility is untouchable most underrated artist. Thank You Miles Parks McCollum.
I love how the videos for the album just really encapsulate how the album sounds into visuals. like it's just one massive fucking fever dream, both equally dream and fever
Thanks to the yachtster for this song. The musicality in this song plays my hearts strings. I’m impressed. It sounds like an 80s song, the producer is a beast
This is the best album ever, it was a full produciton that felt like every song was part of a movie or story. Instant classic and an amazing way to start 2023. THANK YOU SO MUCH YACHTY
That's the thing though he failed the first time he tried something like this... Teenage Emotions had a lot of unique non rap tracks on it but the people werent feeling it. Really puts the failure Interlude into perspective
this video shows actual emotions. exactly how I felt when me and my ex split & I tried to make up for my wrongs & nothing worked. you accept it for what it is & move on. it Truly is all in your head this is art a masterpiece fs.
Not sure if anyone else noticed, but in a LOT of his speaking voices, he's bringing me MAJOR Andre 3000 vibes. He's truly become an artist, a visionary, a great actor too. As someone who loves both hiphop and progressive rock/psych, this is absolutely out of this world. Instant hit!
this album is a 10/10 fucking masterpiece. it was definitely unexpected hearing this psychedelic sound by lil yachty, i love seeing him experiment with this sound and finding himself
I definitely want to give this album its own respective taste. I definitely feel like Bring It Back off Teenage Emotions is being grown upon into this.
Yes this gives me such heavy summer songs vibes and such heavy heavy Lil Boat 1 vibes One Night type shit I love it Yachty has fully met himself up as an artist I don’t care who doesn’t like it this is truly an artistic masterpiece
Just show how versatile he is with not only his creative drive but his work ethic and his emotional drive to be able to express himself in many different types of ways.
I knew Yachty had this type of quality music in him. This album hits different when you’ve been rooting for him since 2016. He’s had a few lackluster projects but there’s always been some insane talent in Yachty, he was so young when he got popular and seeing an artist reach their potential is so incredible. I can’t wait to see what he’s going to do in the future
Bro literally, I was on yachts when he was dropping teenage emotions , and when he would get features on the quality control albums , happy to see him grow so much
Yatchy changing his sound is one of the highlights of this year so far no one expected no one asked for it but no one that loves music can deny it sound fucking good.
Yachty took a turn with his music in a good way of course he went from being the happy rapper to pure artist mode making sad songs for a good cause I love it and I’m all for it 🥲❤️🔥
I bet it feels so refreshing to know after u develop a following an artist cab relax and not make what's just current and hot everytime.. this is branching out and having fun with your art 🎨 . Happy for Lil Boat 🚢 😌
I'm honestly very glad that Yachty took this direction with his music. I heard somewhere that he did this so people will take him seriously as an artist, and I definitely hope that'll happen. Sure, he isn't the only reason that this album sounds as amazing as it does, but he was the curator of it, aka the main driving force of this project. He and his sound definitely grew and evolved over time. Both him and the team behind this project deserve praise, and a lot of it. I hope he'll keep putting out great projects like this while improving.
Whole lotta words to describe trash, the only thing holding this together is the production, it's almost like music execs nowadays are just taking a piss because people will literally "artistically justify" complete lackluster talent nowadays. Curated or not, this is not a fringe college art project, millions are poured into this, it's just the sad state music is in nowadays.
i love when hip hop artists are able to step out of their comfort zone with their music and deliver some of their best work as a result., lil yachty body of work astounding
Yachty outdid himself on the album and those visuals are just phenomenal. I hope he continues to deliver us those amazing projects, heads of to you mr. boat!!!
