Imagine being a literal demigod who’s been unbeaten for millenias, only for some random dude to throw hands with you and you lose.

Imagine getting killed by a guy with his bare fists because you said the guy didn't have a girlfriend. But a round of applause to you dante for actually beeting him.

My man put himself through 69 hours of Elden Ring just punching everything to death without summons, magic or ashes of war. He deserves a Maiden after all he put himself through.

The fact that this man used one handed attacks instead of power stance attacks DEFINITELY made this run all that much harder (plus not upgrading the fist weapons at the blacksmith I think). The mad lad handicapped himself even more than was necessary or intended and still beat the game, QuantumTV and any other bs reviewers be damned

You can tell that Dante was afraid of this challenge judging by the intro. For me, Dante can take anything like a champ. If he could go through hell on RE4 and 5 knife only, he could beat Elden Ring fist only.

I love the reveal that up until the very end, all those feats and dead bosses, giants and demigods, were all killed _one handed_ Killing a Fire Giant with a single hand. Hero.

Beating Fire giant 1st try is definitely an achievement that even some dark souls veterans can't say they did. 👏👏👏

The worst part about using fist weapons isn't that they're bad, it's just their reach. Some fights like Radahn, Morgott, Fire Giant, Beast Clergyman/Maliketh and Elden Beast can be a pain with fists because some of your attacks will either slide off of them or not reach their hitbox. Against regular enemies they're great and you can basically chain poise-breaks, but man do we need to suffer sometimes for our doll waifu.

I wonder if he will visit the other games now. This series is very good at allowing challenge runs!

Margot has to be my favorite boss just because it’s sets up your expectations for the rest of the game so well and his move set was so fun to learn

This is close to how I played my first run, used the cypher pata as my melee. Wasn’t till after I beat the game in nearly its entirety that I found out almost every boss is resistant to holy damage, upwards of 80% damage reduction on bosses like maliketh

I relate to the draconic tree sentinel. I stayed up for almost 7 hours trying to beat him. I was so stubborn I didnt even try leveling up I just kept trying. I eventually did it but god. Magic build against him is difficult. Especially since I was new to the game

The fact you made it to Maliketh without power stancing the fist weapons was impressive all on its own. You can power stance them with just two handing it puts the same fist weapon on both hands. Great video.

I’m going to be honest a lot of these bosses felt easy for me as an astrologer, but I was overleveled when I fought them so that’s probably why 🤔. I was level 48 when I fought Margit and level 100 when I fought Raya.

12:00 Pro tip: Got two weapons of the same typing? You can attack with them at the same time if you got the right stats for both in between each other. It's called power stancing and I recommend the Rotten sword insignia, as you will be hitting repeatedly with fist weapons.

My brother loves this game and I tried to play but it was to hard and you beat it with just your fists props to you this is a level above skill

The extra 53 is the extra damage you do next to the base damage because of your stats and how they scale with the weapons. I didn’t get it until later in the game either.

The worst thing about fists for me is the range, can't even touch some bosses sometimes. I pretty much main Caestus though.

Bro only 69 hours with only fist weapons? I beat it at 150 hours with several perks, ashes of war, and duel wielded rivers of blood-uchigatana(while enchanted with fire perks) how did I have twice as much time dying and trying and grinding than you? You're a beast man. Props to you man

I have a caestus only run on my channel it was the most fun I ever had with the game honestly. Spiked caestus? Nah, Regular caestus are king! Playing with these weapon taught me a LOT of things about the game and the way it *wants* you to play. Also, them bosses hitboxes didnt help at all haha Imo the caestus are intended to be used with blue dancer talisman and low load it was much easier than your palythrough at least. Loved the vid dante, great stuff!

I really wonder what it is like to have patience like this. I can only give 3-5 attempts on a boss before I am so frustrated I will snap my controller.

fist weapons are pretty viable but they're not viable for every single boss due to some having horrible hitboxes or some just moving around too much

When I got to Radagon I couldn't even beat him, even with my buds cause by the time I got to elden beast I was down to 2 flasks and my bud who was on NG+6 would die immediately and I would sadly follow as well but after they had left I decided to change my build into a pure strength build and only used the Iron Ball fists and in that moment I not only beat Radagon but I also demolished The Elden Beast and after that I never changed my stats because the fists were all I needed

Man I did a fists only run back b4 all the hard bosses got nurfed and man was it hard but fun! The only boss (besides god skin) that gave me trouble was the final one cuz it can’t bleed so I had to get another fist that did holy damage or what ever it’s called
