I love Forge Labs style. He starts out with a carefully laid plan. Than sees something shiny, abandons everything to chase something shiny. Until both he and the audience forget what the original plan was to begin with. Never sure whats going to happen lol

100% agree, krakens are known for there benevolent and kind hearted nature. How were you supposed to know it was going to be hostile?

Everyone knows of the Kraken's kind nature in folklore, in fact, I heard stories of it helping travellers along the sea. How was forge labs supposed to know it would be a harsh unkind creature in this mod?

Love how he looked for a village for half the time for emeralds to give to the merchant that he killed less than a quarter of the way through.

I was honestly surprised how the plan worked on day 97 , considering that 90% of Sean's plans like this usually fail . And it was smooth too , how everything went according to the plan .

I can not fault a man for dying in those circumstances

It's always hilarious to me how Sean starts one goal and IMMEDIATELY ABANDONS it for something else

Fun fact:the "thing" responsible for your second death in the River Monsters was a Mosasaurus, a real-life prehistoric marine lizard that's 56-feet long and lived during the Age of Dinosaurs, eating fish,turtles, sharks, pleisosaurs, other mosasaurs and dinosaurs that went for a swim (I'm a paleontologist at this point in time)

Every time I watch these videos it's always a mix of sheer laughable moments and, sometimes, just raw levels of single brain cell activity that make me feel more alive. You inspire me Forge, because even with basically no prior knowledge of Minecraft (which sadly you'd need to even know how to play/do specific things) you still push yourself to do these videos to entertain us and we love you for it. ...also I had just stopped once you died to the Kraken, and the way you popped off "HOW WAS I SUPPOSED TO KNOW Y WOULD ATTACK" had me just dead on the floor. Now I'm gonna rewatch every modded 100 days JUST for the sole purpose of looking for those deaths that "don't count". And when you post a brand new 100 days video I'll show you the total count. Deny it all you want but if I'm wasting time counting them all, you bet your ass I'll beg and pray and hope you make yourself remember every "uncounted" death. ....and now I'm going to even add a description per death too so you actually DO remember how. (Yes this is one of them now, just damn it still has me reeling...unironically still goofy as hell but we love you anyways Forge)

Sean's the kind of man that'll make enough river monster references to make himself step back, acknowledge he has to stop, and then make an episode on it.

The reason as to why the raid kept resetting is because it’s wave-based. I forget the exact number of waves but I believe you were about one or two waves away from completing it-and you get some seriously good stuff from it too.

I love how Sean didn't notice that those seagulls stole his bread the first time he encountered them.

Fun fact: the show river monsters ended because it’s host, Jeremy wade, caught all of them. I’m serious, they didn’t know where to send him anymore, they had nowhere else to go. This absolute chad of a man came, saw, caught, and it was over

Am I the only one that noticed at 56:13 he gets both his golden apples stolen by seagulls, and he was so worried about losing a few steak lol

Didn’t know Jeremy Wade… the man HIMSELF would bless us with such a riveting experience hunting river monsters; risking his life all to entertain us… a true man’s man!

Forge wants a village to get emeralds to trade with the guy he had already killed to get a lead for a gorilla that was no help to the plot of the game... a true mastermind

There's no way he actually didn't complete the raid. It was either done after that last raider or there was one more wave. And then afterwards you get a buff that nearly halves trade prices. You were so close to greatness

it's been years of minecraft content and the way this man organizes his hotbar still hurts my soul

Ah yes, how could I forget about that episode of River Monsters when Jeremy Wade aided a village in the middle of a civil war and used one of the rebels as bait to capture the Goliath Tigerfish that happened to be a reptile, such a Classic

One of my favourite things to do in the morning is turn on one of Sean's videos and just listen to this man being chaotic

I refuse to believe that Sean not only wore socks and sandals, but he also walked straight into a puddle and let the dirt water just seep into those socks.

Tip for underwater caving in Mincraft, bring a door. When you place it the water blocks in the space it's occupying disappear. In an emergency you can also use torches, however because water breaks torches you have to spam place them. Your air refills very slowly because of this, but it's still useful.

I came to a point where I don't even care if Sean continues to play after dying in hardcore. To be honest it feels right lol, also when you see the works he puts in the game you realise it's more than just playing hardcore haha.

Sean talking about deforestating a whole jungle just for emeralds at 39:20 is just a bit funny to me, represents what some people would do if desperate or greedy enough.

The way Sean is a master of complicated mods and yet doesn’t understand basic vanilla Minecraft things like raids and swimming 100% improves these vids

I love Forge Labs. He puts so much EFFORT into his videos, I mean. Look how hard he tries in these 100 days videos.

Forge struggled and fought for hundreds of days, but in the end he found he could not contain them, and the River Monsters references spread so widely that they created their own mod pack.

I like how he felt the need to catch and release the “goliath tigerfish” like Jeremy Wade always does, but Jeremy Wade actually did not release the goliath tigerfish when he caught it. It ended up getting cooked and eaten by the locals.

I can already hear the intro playing just from the title... “I’m Jeremy Wade, fisherman and extreme angler. For 30 years, I have been investigating underwater mysteries in some of the most remote corners of the world. Tracking down freshwater, and saltwater, killers.”

Hey forge!,I greatly enjoy your videos!,I’ve been playing MC for 10 years,and bees just do a simple favor for players,they pollinate crops,acting sorta like a self applying bonemeal,and they provide honey.

Let's be real, we don't come here for Sean's gameplay abilities. We're all here for his amazing storytelling skills. This channel is one of the few gaming channels that I can actual watch an 1hr+ video to completion. Keep it up my mans!

Always jot down co-ords. Whenever I explore, I put torches down to mark the route, use a lot of them so you can find them easier. To make it easier, put down a handful of blocks straight up and put the torch on top.

Neanderthals were actually stronger and had bigger brains then us, and there immune system was generally stronger then ours. Us outliving them was a little bit of a fluke actually . Being in the 99th percentile of Neanderthal dna genetically would mean you have. A higher likely hood of being a bit smarter and stronger then other people

Spoiler: Sean is the kind of guy that, even if he spent so much time doing something like catching the beast, he will do what's right and set it free, even if it's a game. Gotta love him for that !

Fun fact, Mosasaurs are not dinosaurs, but marine reptiles. Their closest living relatives are monitor lizards and snakes. Evidence indicates they were also very aggressive, with many fossils baring damage marks that appear to be unrelated to hunting. The one that ate Forge was also *pretty small for a Mosasaur.*

I absolutely adore these 100 days videos. EVERY SINGLE ONE. the parasite one, the zombie blood moon one, the Jurassic Park one,... they are so good!!! and the quality is perfect.

Probably the most terrifying 100 days video from Forge, Now that is largely due to my fear of large bodies of water so yeah, this is the stuff of nightmares for me

It’s almost like there’s 3 different versions of Sean, there is in game Sean who makes a bunch of bad decisions and has no remorse for life or emotions, there’s script Sean who likes to make cheesy jokes and says nonsensical things, and narrator Sean who just talks, disappointed in his past self for making bad decisions.

I can't be the only one who would love to see an entirely ocean world survival, something akin to raft or subnautica, that being either a flooded world or just a mostly oceanic planet

Here's an idea. Sean should do 100 days on space Minecraft or something. Where instead of running out of heat, or water, you run out of OXYGEN. And there are aliens and monsters and stuff. PROMOTE SO HE CAN SEE THIS

I'd like to see a proper river monsters playthrough. Throw together mods like, Streams, Wild Nature, PrimalCore, Ice and Fire, Aquaculture, Better Diving, Primitive Mobs, Better Animals Plus, etc. and compete to catch the biggest "monster". Bonus points if you trap it in an aquarium and name it Fluffy.

I would love to see you do 100 Days in the Twilight Forest. It's a beautiful mod and you could build an amazing castle in that dimension
