Josh is cut from a different cloth. He's far more different than any other youtuber and has been the only youtuber ever to make me laugh as hard as I do at his videos. He doesn't have to try hard and can effortlessly make a bad looking game into a fun one. Or make a 20 minute video seem like 2 or 3 minutes. Or make an ad into genius sarcasm. He's by far my favorite channel. I feel like other channels are just try hard funny and the editing is usually nice but there's no substance. Just rips off memes or whatever happens to be funny at that moment in time.

I just love the fact that instead of playing a game the normal way, which often results in viewers feeling like they no longer need to go play the games themselves in order to experience it, you play it specifically the "wrong" way, which not only makes for insanely entertaining content but doesn't detract from the urge to go play it myself, but rather inspires me to get it and see how it would be to play it the "normal" way.

He promotes the worst parts of the game wich prevents some people from buying it but in essence he plays games the way devs want beta testers to play. All games are bugged and learning to workaround those is part of the gaming experience and should also be enjoyable.

you can choose game length when you start. 300 is default, you can choose longer. (600 max). also, you can keep playing after the 300 turn "win" condition. theres difficulty settings. not sure which he picked. can also pick number of A.I. enemies. he reduced it. and world size.

@Prehistoricman Never said it 'had' to be bad, but only that it tempers expectations. Meaning I'm not expecting the same level as his non-ad videos. I still found some humor in this one. Also, this is a much more professional game from a well established studio thats already beyond it's early access or beta play period, so there aren't as many exploitable glitches as some of the other games he often plays.
