His biological dad left and his mom was a single parent since his step dad died in prison. He then convinced his mom to buy him boxing boots with their last dollars and he promised to knock them out fast because she said he had asthma and couldn’t compete with other big guys. Even all while telling this in an interview he never really got emotional so big ups to him, he really knows how to keep his composure and his mental will is crazy strong for that.
