I nearly ever leave comments but my god parrot, this was a great journey. Alot of shit happend to me in the past few weeks, and seeing a friend like you doing everything in his power to make his friend smile made me tear up. It made me realize i have great friends, and it mostly made me realize that not all hope is lost. Thank you for this, i really needed it.
Your videos are true art. I don't even watch them for the minecraft aspect, your narrating and the amount of time and effort you put into editing and the video being one of a kind is incredible. Really makes me go back to the 2016 days, when I actually enjoyed the game.. nothing I can do about it, though..

I had noticed the same thing with my friends being really dry/stale with games like vortex and I’d feel down that I wouldn’t have anyone enthusiastic to play with. After watching this I suppose they aren’t abnormal, I suppose it’s a cycle everyone goes through. What an amazing story arc in this video!

When I clicked on this video, I thought it would be another average Parrot video (there is nothing wrong with that btw), but instead, this video seems to be more about friendship, and it honestly made me tear up a little bit. the game has gone stale but ive noticed that if i returned to a time when i loved the game and there was always something new, im talking about the beta versions b4 hunger from beta 1.7.3 and beta 1.6.6 and lower now that was a really fun time the golden age of this game
On server 74 (the mando lifesteal snp)the glass base was mine ryan was one of 2 of my team members, the other was carmen, after you did that the server admins went on a rampage killing everyone and breaking all the chests and burning the items, we were compensate afterwards with some gear but we were at a lose, however we still decided to play but one of the mods that was breaking all the chests decided to grief out base, I was promised by mando (the owner) that the mods would never leak or use our cords. He attacked us the next day. He jumped 2 of my friends and when I tpd I barely made it out alive I only had Dimond gear He full netherite, our base was in ashes and mando completely ignored me my friends rage quit and I lost everything.

this brings me to where i am now. i am getting bored of minecraft i have been playing for more than a decade more than 10k hours i have hit mastery. i think i have had my time i mastered everything as far as redstone. was nice knowing yall im leavin
Vortex made a good point, the game used to feel simple and I’d just play survival with my friends, now we can’t have a server that doesn’t die because the games too boring
This is why the minecraft community is awesome. Loads of TRvidrs and non youtubers just get on a server and have fun and kudos to the special appearences like bubbo2000, boosfer, rekrap and others!!
This video really reminds me of me and my friends. We had an amazing SMP at the start of 2020 which we spent a lot of time and effort in, but as we finally defeated the dragon the server came to a close. We started doing modded SMP's and they were still fun but it wasn't as fun as it used to be. We started making more like new ones when new updates came out like 1.17 and 1.18, was still almost fun but barely. Now it's just degraded into an endgame server with starter bases as houses and I was really unmotivated until i came across this video. Thank you parrot and vortex.
i was in the same situation as vort3x where minecraft bored me until a few months ago i decided that 7 years of playing minecraft im not gonna throw the game away as if it was nothing so i pressed the play button once again and found joy :)
Wow, watching those hives dissolve every day until they disappear is definitely appeasing, I went with what I mentioned and after 20 days my urticaria disappeared. I just go'ogled the latest by Shane Zormander and now my skin is as smooth and healthy as it has ever been!
I agree with Vortex at the beginning. Sometimes the game just isn’t fun. Yet I also agree with Parrot that it isn’t fun cause you’re doing it alone. Sometimes we all run into that block. Where MC isn’t fun. My tip is to take a break, relax and go play other games. Sooner or later you’ll get that force to tell you to go back to MC. Idk it works for me though :)

The reason you couldn’t find much fun in most servers is because you went about it wrong. If owners knew you, they’d give you stuff- if you found an empty server all you did was look around- if people were on you looked around or trolled them- there’s more to a server than that, you have to be you, find a genuine goal or reason to play the game
You know parrot i dont think this will be noticed in the 2.5k comments but you truly inspired me with this video I just continued my realms subscription on my 3 year old mc world and me and a few friends are going to start playing it again. When i had that feeling of minecraft being boring i just searched for new stuff that i could do and i started playing on anarchy servers the one im playing rn is 6b6t its pretty good but i hope i never leave this game it was my childhood and if i ever stop playing i will still remember it as the best game in the whole world
theres no way that lifesteal has been going on for over a yr.. ive been here since the beginning and i didnt rly watch the third season but thats still crazy that its been going on for that long
Ive had this problem with gaming in general, everything just became unfun and i got kinda sad cause of that. A good way to fix this is by playing new games, i started playing a childhood game and it gave me so much nostalgia and was really refreshing.
As Vortex being my fav member, this video hurt to watch. Not only is Vortex the just overlooked player on Lifesteal, he is one of the least popular. Please go give him support. But Yeah, I understand everybody grows out of things.
