Finally. Someone decided to finally make a video mimicking his EXACT style. I know it's tough to recreate it, but I see a lot of creators making these types of videos, but trying absolutely no effort into actually trying to mimic his style. You just earned a like from me.

For real immersion, I highly advise also swapping the speed to 1.25x, it feels so slow on normal speed and just making it pick up the pace really causes it to feel like a real Bill Wurtz video.

I'm glad you started explaining the native population from the broad introduction rather than starting off with the usual pilgrim + new england relations with the natives. Also the chronological pacing was really well done and really puts into perspective the grand timeline the US has gone through, rather than stretching it out for an academic year and poorly connecting each event with the next. Bill Wurtz's was greatly enjoyable but his was made intentionally vague as it was meant to just be a brief overview, whereas yours was very detailed and nuanced. Bill Wurtz's gives breath into widening people's foreign understanding of the world to stray away from western-centric history, establish a foundational understanding of the world, all while being digestibly entertaining. Whereas yours dives into depths genuinely twice as deep than any textbook can dive into, as they ignore otherwise crucial subtleties that you included. Your video gives a strong wave of information in such a slapstick compilation of US events and it's greatly appreciated. Your video may have been inspired by Bill Wurtz, with the lightheartededly quick snapshots and explanations w/ jokes, it's obvious the video was made by another masterful comedian and historian with hopes to educate his viewers. Although Wurtz's video may have been an LSD wet dream, I genuinely prefer your video over his. Well done mate 👍

Fun fact: the original concept of the famous “history of the entire world I guess” and “history of Japan” videos was going to be “history of the United States of America”, but he (Bill Wurtz) quit the project and it transformed into two of the most iconic TRvid videos ever made.

FUN FACT: Paul Revere never shouted "THE BRITISH ARE COMING, THE BRITISH ARE COMING" because at that time, everyone was British so it would be confusing. Instead he went up to peoples doors and whispered to them "The regulars are coming" and Paul Revere never actually finished his trip, another rider did. Him and William Dawes were captured by the regulars and questioned before being released.

@that one guy named zach The lights were for the ships guarding the rivers I believe, and Paul and the other man went riding to worn the local militias to get ready to fight. The British would have to sail up the river then make movement inland on foot.

I am currently crying so hard right now. This is seriously the most beautiful, well put together story ever. I can’t believe how magical it was 1:12. That part truly made me shed a tear. And especially at 6:34 that part was just so truly heart touching words can not describe the series of emotions I felt. I absolutely loved the climax it had insanely excellent detail. Oh and we can’t forget the conclusion. The conclusion was the greatest and saddest conclusion I have ever seen better than any of the books I have read. Thank you so much for creating this absolute masterpiece. This is essentially the most important masterpiece of film history. It is a tragedy that this, it can’t be called a film, but a transcendent emotional experience, will be inaccessible for most. It beautifully encapsulates the human struggle to its basics; suffering, pleasure, faith, despair. It connects with the characters within the viewers, individuals suppressed within our own subconscious. It stays vibrant, fresh, and revolutionizes the art of storytelling and filmmaking while making a damn of statement on what it means to be human. Entertaining, gripping, and simply exhilarating. This might be the most impactful piece of art I’ve come across in my life, and I’m definitely coming back to it in the near future to study it more deeply. this is an absolute masterpiece , I was brought to tears listening to this and seeing the bacon go whirly swirly in a circle countless times. it absolutely moved my soul , and I don't think I can ever be the same. this bacon has changed my entire mental state , I am now at peace with who I am and what I will be doing later in my life. i have forgiven all my enemies and now I am a man of a pacifist life. I will move on , gotta move on , as the song says. the bacon is so inspirational , it shares it vast wisdom with all of us , and we are all so lucky that it would bestow it's great words with us. we are all children on bacon. hail bacon. hail bacon. The spinning bacon, rotating in one direction with this music... This made me tear up. How could such a bacon do such a thing? I'm struck by awe by this masterpiece. Especially when the bacon spins, showing its lightly salt covered tan skin. I can hear the crunch just from here, and so as the beautiful sound of the bacon scraping the dark, smooth velvet floor. The flavor, music and everything can be heard, tasted, seen and felt from a screen. You can really hear the breaths between the music artist, empathizing her love for this rotating bacon. Truly what I call modern art. This was the most legendary performance by any piece of bacon I have ever watched. The acting was top tier and very life changing. This is one of the greatest work from a piece of bacon I have ever seen especially on 57:42.I am currently crying so hard right now. The graphics, the animation, the music, so much thought was put into it. This has remined me that you can do anything you put your mind to. Not even mentioning the memories, this makes me feel like an infant again, just laying my eyes on this beautiful masterpiece gives me all the good feelings in life. I also understand what happiness is again from this. Not even to mention the most incredible part that is 2:10. Bacon spinning has changed my life for the better. @daniel tolan to be completely honest, not much at all. we do touch on topics such as the states' involvement in global wars. we did briefly learn about the civil rights movement but other than that, i can't think of much else. majority of the american history knowledge i have is self-educated heh.

The only thing missing is the little jingles Bill does. Other than that, this is literally his style, spot on.

I appreciate that you covered Reconstruction and the Gilded Age and actually put some weight on it. Most people just outright ignore everything that happened between 1865 and 1914, but it's so important. It's not as in depth as I would have hoped, but the fact that you took time out at all in such a fast video to cover it makes me so happy.

I was skeptical at first. I was thinking this would ruin Bill Wurtz's work, but you accomplished this with Flying Colors! Great Idea, Amazing execution!! Keep it up dude!

im sadly pretty sure that this is better than what most history teachers teach in a whole year

as someone who just took APUSH, this felt like speedrunning the entire course. well done, good man edit on july 5th: I GOT A 3 GUYS I WAS SO SCARED I WOULDN'T PASS AND I STRUGGLED A LOT IN THE CLASS ITSELF BUT OMG I'M LITERALLY SO RELIEVED edit for the non-Americans: a 3 in the US is passing. anything 3 or more on an AP exam is passing. AP exams are graded on a score from 1-5

@Xeroph-5 although not completely equivalent, a 3 is probably equal to a C in an A-level history exam, except the course is exclusively American history. A 4 would be a B and a 5 would be an A/A*. So a 3 is still a pass but not a strong one.

This nice video has DIFFERENT content while giving homage. Full respect. Another point, there's no such thing as intellectual property rights regarding style. please use what inspires you and make the best out of it. This is how human beings learn and improve. Keep in mind if you think it's good, there are others that think like you so don't get demotivated by the doubters. I guarantee there are people that appreciate what you're creating. Keep up the inspiration and the great work!

I like this, its cool. Its not just blatantly trying to be bill wurtz, its using his style to make something completely original while still feeling like its inspired by him and its cool.

Very well done, like Wurtz I think you did a great job balancing speed with detail. The jokes were great too, you didn't really have any bias and made fun of everyone equally.
