The one thing i hated about the movies was that they left out the entire story of Regulus Black. In the books Kreacher explained to the Golden trio what Regulus did and everything, and i just wished that the movies at least made like a little flash back scene of regulus going into the cave while kreacher was explaining the story.

One of my favorite moments, and it's a small moment, is when Snape puts himself between the kids and a transformed Lupin. He goes from pissed to protective so quick.

I like both of the Dumbledore's. The first Dumbledore really makes me feel loved. The young Dumbledore from Fantastic Beast was just like the first one. The actor who acted as young Dumbledore really captured the feeling, his calmness and how sometimes he's hilarious like in the books. When I was reading the part in the books of Chamber Of Secrets when Ron and Harry were in Snapes room I think? After they arrived with the flying car which Snape was furious and Minerva was strict. And Dumbledore was there, he was pretty calm about it but Harry could see he looks disappointed. And while reading that part, it really reminded me of the young Dumbledore. So props to that actor that acted as young Dumbledore who also voice acted Pitch Black in Rise Of The Guardians! 👏🏼👏🏼 For the second Dumbledore. He really is different from the first Dumbledore and also in the books. But I really like how he portrayed Dumbledore. This Dumbledore seemed strict and not really as *very* calm like the other one when it comes to different situations. But you could tell he still cares for Harry and others like Draco. He was pretty calm trying to help Draco. I guess the first Dumbledore, if you meet him. You'll feel save and feel warmed by his presence. He's like that very accepting father figure. Because of how kind and polite he is. The second one feels like you need to have a few conversations with him to comfortable. He's more like the strict father figure who deeply cares about you. And I love both of them. It is sad that the first actor who acted as Dumbledore passed away. 😞😞 But the second still did an amazing job.

My favorite moment in this series was actually in the book, the seventh, that Harry comes to realization that Dumbledore is a man who has made mistakes and that he is simply human. When Harry realizes that Dumbledore did conceal things from him "for the greater good" and his conflict about if it was worth it. Which he did find closure about when battling Voldemort. I think that part of Dumbledore's life was well written and carried out, because as viewers and readers we were too led to believe he was able to solve anything. And that he had a brilliant mind but some of his solutions to problems clashed with right or wrong.

One thing I like about the Harry Potter quizzes is how accurate it is. Once I got sorted into Hufflepuff, I discovered that are so many traits that are similar to how I carry myself in the world. Also, my patronus is a St. Bernard, and that scared me the most.

I love this series. The third film is my favorite but the first movie means a lot to me. My grandfather took me to see it in theaters when I was a kid. He passed away a few years later but I loved the series ever since we saw the first one. 💖

"I really think Hermione and Harry should've ended up together" I agree, but only in the movies. In the books Hermione fits with Ron. And again I'm only in The Chamber Of Secrets. But when Ginny and Harry interact in that book. Harry was so sweet. When Lockhart saw Harry and gave him all the books, he immediately went through the squeezy big crowd and handed the books to Ginny and told her "You can have them" He's too sweet!! He was even so polite and kind to Dobby the first time he met him, he even ask if there's anyway he can free him in THE FIRST TIME THEY MET!! I repeat Harry was so sweet and kind in the books. It really just makes me wanna hug him and give anything to make him happy. But Harry and Hermione fit more in the movies.

R.I.P Richard Harris (the original Dumbeldore) If he hadn't died I'm sure he would have continued in the role. Hagrid has to be up there as one of my favorites. Great video. I definitely prefer the books over the films, although the films are entertaining. And huge props to Maggie Smith who went through Chemo while making half blood prince (I think) but didn't tell anyone because she didn't want the kids to find out she had Cancer and upset them.

The question that has always bothered me - in the end of Harry's second year all exams were cancelled, right? Well, it's all good for the 1, 2, 3, 4 and 6 year students. But what about 5 and 7 - OWLS and NEWTS? Did they just not get qualifications they need for THEIR FUTURE CARRIER?! 🤔

I re-read the books last year and tbh i enjoyed them so much i want to read them again but that’s a lot of hours. I like the later movies because they’re growing up and I can relate to the teenage anxt. My favourite is probably either Azkaban or Goblet of Fire (except for what happens to Cedric) GoF is probably my favourite because it’s when stuff starts to get serious. Azkaban is great and probably my favourite music in the series. Umbridge is the worst but I also can’t help but like her a bit since she’s played by one of my favourite actresses. I also quite like Bellatrix for the same reason. Finally, as a lesbian, I just have to acknowledge how beautiful Hermione is.

I love Draco. I know he’s problematic, but you can just see what a terrible situation he’s in and just trying to save his own skin. Like, his family is full of murderers and it’s pretty amazing that he didn’t fall into it happily. And I think it’s good that he’s selfish cause it reminds you how brave and not selfish the trio are in comparison/how everyone deals with war and difficult situations differently.

Pretty sure Obliviate is permanent, Hermione had to lose her parents because of the risk they'd be targeted or try to help or stop her, and of course so they won't feel the grief if she dies. The thing is they still could be targeted.

Not sure how I feel about completely cutting over the entire trials and confrontation of the end of the first one... I always hated how Voldemort's anagram of his name had to include "I am" in order for it to work. I think the phoenix tears have to be fresh due to the magical nature. Hemione punching Malfoy is what sparked my crush on Emma Watson lol. Harry and Ginny were really hinted at a lot earlier in the books. I think even in book one, before she's at the school, she can't help but stare. And it's just little moments like that between them from the beginning. But the movies don't really shove it until Half Blood Prince. One of the few things that get me to happy cry in a movie is that scene in the cave where he's whirling flames around. And then cutting to just moments later where he dies. We've seen two times when he was displaying his power, OotP with Voldemort, and the cave. And then it's just a begging old man saying "Please". About harry talking to "Bathilda" in parseltongue, he can do it without realizing. In the books that was why only Harry went with her, so Nagini could ask him questions without Harmione hearing snake language. And in the earlier book when Draco summoned a snake and he talked to it he had no idea he was doing it, which is why he was confused about everything thinking he was egging it on when he was telling it to back off. It's not a clause just on the Elderwand. It's all wands. But wandlore is only really studied/known by wandmakers and as a hobby. Not many people know of it. That's one of the things Ollivander reveals to them when they find him in the dungeon. And why Harry and Hermione losing their wands was so important.

Actually the apparating thing isn't a pothole for earlier movies because according to the books only Dumbledore can apparate in and out of Hogwarts, which is why Draco has to fix that box for the death eaters to go in. JK has thought about everything! Sucks she then went ahead and decided to throw her entire legacy away...but well, separate the art from the artists, I guess...

my favorite is the old dumbledore even though the new one did some awesome stuff i always thought the first one was much closer to the original character from the books. but i love this series. i think i have done/ seen everything there is to see/ do based off this series( aside from go to hp store).
