My hair almost never gets cut, just very rarely it *might* get trimmed. I have to keep it in a ponytail like 99.9% of the day or else it’s a nightmare to brush.

Why is a simple story of some dude's hair styling adventures making me grin and smile and uplifting me?

I find buzzing my head easier than trying to maintain hair and paying for someone else to cut it, but I also like how clean it is aesthetically and physically

His reaction to his new haircut was my exact same reaction when I got bangs. I felt so different afterwards and I pretty much kept my hair in bobbypins for a while, but when they started to grow out, I grew to like them.

As a kid, my hair looked like I frequently sat inside of faraday cages, so spiked everywhere with no cooperation. Later, it just grew out fast and still stayed uncooperative in some spots, and it's still like that today, only now I use hair gel and a trick that a barber taught me on vacation: apply hair gel, style hair, wait for hair gel to dry, then comb hair again and BOOM! Soft hair that mostly cooperates.

When I was 15-17, my hair had a very awkward stage (unknowingly back then) as I didn’t have experience styling my hair with gel, so I didn’t know what hairstyle I liked and what combs to use (I use a round/roller brush now).

I really like the new look. It looks like Markipliers hair. I also just think it's really cool! ;) What I've been wanting to go for is a mix of Jacksepticeye and Markipkiers hair. Jack's shaved sides and Mark's red color.

Suddenly feeling you a lot at the end, I recently cut my hair into something of a bob and I've NEVER EVER EVAR had my hair this short. But I now think it looks actually cute on me.

i tend to find that when shaving with a shavette, a slightly blunt blade is much easier to use as its not nearly as punishing if you happen to use the wrong angle against skin.

During this quarantine, I cut my little brothers hair, did a crewcut fade and I gotta say, I really think I did a good job on both of them!

I also cut my hair with a razor. Its really easy to do on yourself. I usually do pixie cuts on myself. I had a really bad experience at a Walmart hair cuttery and then everything changed when the fire nation attacked. So I've been cutting my hair for 4 years now. I get a lot of compliments on it.

Story time: I went to get my haircut at a local barber. Now, I know absolutely NOTHING about hair. What I had was apparently called a combover. But I didn’t know. So I told the barber something along the lines of, 1 on the sides and just a bit off the top. Or at least that’s what I’m pretty sure I said because he cut my hair shorter than I like it to be and completely cut off my bangs and I was just there like…..”this is fine”

I have a bad allergy (with the added magic of asthma) to fragrances so I learned pretty quick that I cannot survive in a hair salon. That's how I learned how to cut my hair. It's awesome; you save so much money and time, and once you get good, your hair looks exactly how you like it every time.

My dad cut my hair in the exact same style (inch on the top, quarter inch on the sides, medium blend) for the first 15 years of my life before deciding he didn’t like to cut my hair, so now I just get it cut in the same style but like a quarter inch longer from the barber.

A load of girls the other day were saying how bad their hair is because the hairdressers cut it an inch too short so I whipped out the photos of me with ice cream and pasta sauce all over my face with the weirdest bowl cut ever. They don't complain about their hair anymore.

I just got a haircut and I saw this video, this is my situation exactly. I tried a new hairstyle, I hated it for the first few days, then grew to like it and my hair is growing well and I kinda like the new look since I've had the same style since like 7th grade.

I always got a bowl cut, but my head was shaped in such a way, it looked much better than fashion cuts.

My hair has been long for as long as i can remember. Then one day i decided to cut it pretty short. I loved it and it was the best decision of my life.

You know when you're in a country like I am that restricted student's haircut you can't just get a random hair to show it to your friend.

My hair grows extremely fast, last haircut I got was a fade. Next two weeks it's already growing out. Fast forward to now I'm growing it out to have the metal look like Iron Maiden, Ratt and KISS. But the farthest I want it to grow is at least to my bottom chest area, you can just say that it's my wavy pride and joy that is a jet black beauty lol.

Watching this because I used to have hair to my waist, and now I cut it chin-length. I love it! :D

I live in Australia and as a kid I never really remember anyone having a bowl cut, maybe something more common overseas or it’s just not as common anymore.

aw dude, I tried cutting my bangs once.... that was a mistake. I texted the guy I was seeing at the time hoping to gain some sympathy. He thought it was hilarious. I went to visit him a couple of days later and when I got off the train the first thing he did was breaking down laughing as if my massacred bangs were the funniest thing in the world... to be honest tho... I did kinda look like an escaped mental patient. It was the worst xD

when i was small i was alwaysed force to get a brush-cut and i absolutely hated it. Since i have small shoulders skinny body and permenant eye bags i would look i had cancer. The hair my avatar has is basically what i have myself (except for the 2 spikes at the back). I love it like this and everytime im told were getting haircuts its like being told "were gonna throw you into a firery ditch and you cant say otherwise"

I never let my mom do anything more than trim my hair. Before recently the most I ever cut off was like 3 inches. It was always around butt to waist length, but recently I just decided I I wanted it short so for the first time in my life I cut it to my shoulders. We literally also shaved the back of my head so now my hairs as thick as a normal persons and shoulder length and it’s really weird. I also just got bangs, and my hair is blue. Oh also we donated the hair we cut off and it was like 12 inches so yeah
