I really enjoyed this special it was cute. But I really wish the after credits scene was Bucky either waking up and finding out his arm is missing or him destroying his place searching for his arm or him getting cussed out by Ayo because he lost the arm lol

I don't know if anyone commented this but the green toy Yondu got for Xmas in this special can be seen in the first guardians of the galaxy movie when Yondu is about to start his ship up to follow Quill into battle against Ronan, along with other toys I bet Quill gave him over the years for Xmas🤙

I love how the MCU circles back to references in earlier movies. Seeing Rocket unwrap Bucky’s arm was the best! Hoping we get a reference to the theft in the Thunderbolts movie!

I didn't realize earlier that Groot's presents were all callbacks from this film itself 😭 Except Drax's gift, they all looked like moments from their time together maybe never shown on film. Just an addition- the lyric about the elf wanting to be a dentist is a reference to the old Rudolph cartoon where Hermey, the elf dreams of being a dentist instead of making toys.

The sleeping with the fishes line is a robot chicken reference because on the robot christmas special the elf bombs as a dentist and goes back to santa for his job and forgiveness. Santa says he can some back then has him killed godfather style on the lake in a boat by another elf.

Such a joyful and fun project with emotion. Pom killed it here with Dave And Kevin. Mantis And Peter's final scene was so heartwarming. Hope Marvel does more Specials and hope to get a prequel special of Rocket And Groot. Can't wait for Vol 3 and hope to get the trailer by the latest December.
