Yorumları okuyunca net olarak anlaşılıyorki, yine yurt dışında gereken saygıyı taktiri gören ülkemizde görmeyen olaylardan biri daha. Sonra o niye gelişmiyor bu niye gelişmiyor diye sorarız..
Gotta admit even at 38 he still looks like he’s got crisp hands and combinations and his iconic explosiveness , looked a little out a shape but he took the fight on short notice and with a long time off from competition.
@Johan Jansen when he did ufc he was really skinny ufc has crazy hard weight cuts and training regiments some fighters have came close to death training and cutting weight for ufc fights
Everybody can be lion when not fighting the top. He looked incredibly weak in his short MMA career. I have my doubts, but it was nice to see him fight in Glory.
15 years ago I saw Saki fighting on TV and was like I can do that…… I’ve been doing Muay Thai and JiuJitsu ever since Thanks for all the great memories Saki
In the real kickboxing world “Gokhan Saki’s” name will always be up there as one of the best kickboxers to ever have entered the Ring,he has fought the best of the best of the world and beaten most of them..SAKI IS GENUINELY A LEGEND!!
@Fernando Pinto Not to mention he probably would’ve won the K1 Grand Prix that Overeem won if it wasn’t weirdly rigged in Overeems favor for who fought who and when. Half the competitors were from GG and it’s like you knew they agreed to give Overeem the W so he had all the trophies or medals or some shit. Idk it was a big thing.
What makes Gokgan Saki is not just being a good fighter. He also turns all fighting matches into a a pure fighting show pleasure. We can actually see some epic action, great technics, some one of a kind fighting scenes etc., while he is also very very respectful fighter that never acts like an asshole...
Aslanım abim benim. Cüsse işi değil bu yürek işi. Rabbim bileklerine kuvvet versin. Senin karşında kimlerin ayakları kırılmadı ki. Bayrağımız Göklerde 🇹🇷🇹🇷🇹🇷
Gokhan has always been up there with the best in the world but he looked older and slower for sure. If he somehow gets into a better shape he can for sure make some splash in Glory.
imagine getting one of these kicks..... i mean, i do Muay Thai since a long time but i wouldnt want to get one from those 2 guys for sure.... that looks so painful. Great fight!
In all honesty James McSweeney was just a ticket back into the ring for Saki to put him back on the map. Realistically James had already lost in this matchup. Either way, nice to see Saki's back.
Those rear leg low kicks really hurt. The rear leg is less conditioned because people rarely use that technique. It only takes a few kicks before it becomes too much.
If he keeps it up in the same manner, he will soon dethrone Rico for sure. I never understood why he gave up competing years ago, as he was in his prime and defeated the best of his time. He still is a very dangerous opponent for most kickboxers. Hope to see Gokhan fight again. Fearless and highly talented fighter. One of the greatest in this sport.
Saki with his leg kicks are insane, he demolish the leg of the opponent, incredible tactic, helal olsun reis, we want bigger matches You should definitely match up with Rico, you can do it we belive
He didn’t throw that right low kick anymore after Sweeney checked it. Looked like it would have snapped if he did. But legend Saki just switched to the left outside kick hahahaha goated
