I would know people that would complain that these come out every month. but as an animator myself I know something like this can take nearly a year. so the animator of this production is highly skilled

Nice job with the surgery Socks. I’m going in for my first life changing ankle surgery in two weeks here. They have to cut me open in four places and cut my heel bone. Then they are gonna fix my tendons to give me an arch and then align my ankle back in place. It’s pretty nerve racking. Wish me luck!!!

I had leg surgery a week before this video was made, and a week after this video of 2 weeks after the original surgery I had the staples and boots taken off. Having the staples taken off was especially horrible.

Actually you can't wake up from a surgery even though you've had anesthesia injected in the yield because that happened to me during my line disease. Surgery about 5. Years ago.

Back in February I had eye surgery and all I can say...a majority of this is the same and I hated it. And they even threw me out as soon as I woke up too! I was blind for about three days..and then even looking around and keeping them open was a pain. Glad it's over though..especially because I have a big fear of hospitals and mainly needles 😅

Fun fact: nose surgery existed before anesthesia. Instead of anesthesia it was alcohol and instead of the string that the doctor put in your nose to have your nostrils keep shape, it was plant stalks.

Your story wasn't even bad at all. I had to get 2 surgeryes because my bones were too small in my right leg. They had to get in a metal thingy so my meat can reach my bones but to do this they had to break my bones, and after 1 year they had to do the same thing to get the metal out, and after the first surgery I was in constant pain and loss of walking for 3 monts the second time it was only 2 monts And the worst part is: I was a 5 year old and my Birth day was 1 month after the surgery.

As a child I had ALL (Acute Limphoblastic Leukemia) I know exactly how it feels like to have to get an IV and get anesthesia. I was worried my first few times but I got used to trusting my doctors.

I just had my tonsils out witch is like surgery on your throat and this is so relatable to what I felt

I actually had nose surgery and I relate to everything. What I did was close my eyes and thought about my favorite things. I went into cardiac arrest. I had to stay for an extra day and I ate chocolate:) but when the stitches got cut, my eyes watered and I was whimpering like a dog. After that my nose felt SO sore that even putting my shirt off hurt too much. Btw, when I woke up my mom asked me if my chest hurt bc CPR and I said "my everything hurts" so even after a FAILED surgery that almost killed me, I was still able to make jokes.

I can sympathise with socks, I just got surgery on my arm after an accident. The stitches were really painful to remove and I just let go of my man ego to cry.

I have actually had surgery on my nose because one nostril was completely flat so I had to get small tubes to shape it and I have to say I felt exactly like you and when I got them removed I hat to also get the stitches holding them removed and let’s just say the story wasn’t so different ither...

Everything that socks said how he felt about his surgery is how I felt when I was getting my tonsils out.

I also got surgery on my nose because the meat inside my nose was extended and i couldn't breath(nasal polyps).And when I am drugged and sleeping I was having a nightmare.when I woke up when I breath my nose hurts very much,after a couple weeks I feel better and it wasn't hurting anymore .

I had both of my legs operated on (one in September 2021 then one January 2022). Let me say though, waking up from anesthesia is trippy 🥴 It’s a whole sorry why I had to get surgeries but I completely understand why socks we freaking out, I experienced the same thing when I first had surgery. It had been years since I had one before these so I was a bit nervous. Overall not too bad.

I went under surgery for breaking both bones in my left forearm all the things he said about the surgery happened to me as well except I woke up with a splint on and 2-3 weeks later they cut the splint off and now I’m gaining my mobility in my arm back. I broke my arm like a month and a half ago a little bit less

Bruh you know you could’ve took in the easy option if you were at a different hospital that actually provided the kind of anesthesia that’s for kids it’s really strong so it’s normally a seizure it’s just it’s in the gas form so you can breathe it in it’s not painful😊😅

i heard this story of somebody having brain surgery.. and they woke up and was like "hey bro how u doin?" and they had a conversation about cats till the surgery was over.

I had surgery and when they put the thing over my mouth I felt like I was in a vibrating platform, everything was getting blurry, and voices were kind of foggy. Last thing I remember it went black and I woke up, turns out the surgery was two ours but it felt like a second. I was under anesthesia and it was funny when I woke up.

I got tonsilectomy of my nose and it was really painful, so I already know how it feels to have surgery. It was way more painful and the dose of anesthesia made me sleep for like 12 hours. And when I woke up I couldn't speak eat or drink properly for the next two weeks, with a constant throat ache that made you feel like you were going to cry at every second. Just saying.

I had an endoscopy once because I kept vomiting, I can say from the endoscopy, sleeping gas is horrible. First off it smells like plastic, second they put this mask on you and you slowly pass out, but at a cirtain point your half awake and half passed out so you start to freak out. luckily there were no complications since it was a relatively safe procedure, but it was still a procedure so I freaked out before I got strapped down to the hospital bed.

As you can tell by fatmemegod actually being there, the surgery would've probably failed

Anesthesia through a hand is absolute pain and I literally had the exact same experience except I needed it because I had cancer Edit: just to clarify I did not do all of the bandage and stitches stuff

This was basically my same experience with a hip replacement surgery..... not my follow-up appointment.... that was a breeze

Removing stiches is actually the most painful for me Its like going through the same pain over again It's like while removing it i was crying mentally 'i won't do that again I'll be careful next time'

Anesthesia for younger kids sometimes is breathed in and the kid chooses how it’s smells too! I got to do it a few times before they said, “I got too old to do it” and I started taking like chewable gummy things, idk. The setting seems pretty close to how I remember my surgery on my eyes being like, rolling down the hallways, bright lights like being blinded by them.

The thing about the tools dropping in them used to happen all the time until they made a rule where after surgery docters always checked how many tools they had

I had my 1st surgery today and I got “laughing gas”. For me it was more like “fear for your life gas”. I’m 9 and it’s spring break for me. I got a piece of glass shoved into my foot.

I actually had a surgery to remove a cyst on my head so I know what it feels like to be nervous before the surgery and relived after the surgery

I had surgery to get three wisdom teeth and a molar removed and I legit cried when they were hooking me up to the heart monitor, it was so scary and I have a phobia of needles on top of the anxiety that I might die or something. They used something that made my arm feel really cold so I didn’t feel the needle, and then they like strapped my arm to something that made it straight, crossed it over me, set me back in the chair, and I actually did dream - I was playing guitar. Then what felt like 2 minutes later they’re sitting me back up. I had to have a nurse in front of my face snapping her fingers because I could barely stay awake and I couldn’t sleep with the cotton and gauze in my mouth or I might choke. I found out later I inherited a high sensitivity to anesthetics from my mother because I slept an hour longer than I should have, they couldn’t even wake me up XD I literally had to be carried onto the wheelchair, into the car, and then my parents had to carry me into the house and hold me upright to take the pain meds because I had absolutely no energy to even lift the cup, let alone sit up on my own. I remember being so stressed out for a month about this surgery; I had to have a needle in my arm once a week for a month with the surgery being the last and it was driving me insane with anxiety. I was a nervous wreck, I was crying, I lost sleep, my social anxiety and depression was worse, and then immediately once the IV was in my arm ALL of my anxieties just immediately dissolved. I passed out for like two hours afterwards and I woke and apologized to all of my friends cause I was so high strung. That was literally the best sleep of my entire life. Also, my root pain was gone for good and OH MY GOODNESS KIDS BRUSH YOUR TEETH YOU DO *NOT* WANT TO HAVE ROOT PAIN EVER, TRUST ME feels like someone stabbed an icicle 6” down your gums. Had that with two teeth and had to deal with it for a year, seriously don’t be like me 😖

I fought Anastasia before they gave me enough to tranquilize a elephant and I fought it. So they gave me a double dose and I still woke up whole having surgery on my toe. Ahh I think my adrenaline kept me up

I had my appendix removed and I tell you, anesthesia is strong. In sleep you can tell time has passed, anesthesia goes by as fast as blinking. When I woke up, I was confused because I didn’t realize they had even started.
