The Greatest Showman is a 2017 American musical drama film directed by Michael Gracey in his directorial debut, written by Jenny Bicks and Bill Condon and starring Hugh Jackman, Zac Efron, Michelle Williams, Rebecca Ferguson, Zendaya, and Keala Settle. Featuring nine original songs from Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, the film was inspired by the story of P. T. Barnum's creation of Barnum's American Museum and the lives of its star attractions.

You might like Hamilton if you haven't already seen it. If you don't like that, you probably aren't a musical person. Also, if you are willing to do a very limited run with no more than 32 episodes, you can't go wrong with "A Discovery of Witches". Based on some of your comments in this video, I think you will like it.

So I actually still haven't seen Hamilton but now having this channel I might actually have a reason to want to watch it lol. I shall add it to my ever growing list. As far as "Discovery of Witches", I've heard of that show but I don't have a subscription for AMC+. But if it ever shows up on one I do have I could maybe find time to check it out. Yes that is a real little person. The actor's name is Sam Humphrey. Though they did make him smaller in the movie than he is in real life. So yea probably a little Cgi. Great reaction, loved your energy!

I LOVE how emotional you are. Would love to see you react to "Your Name" a very emotional movie. It’s an Anime, so it hits best on Japanese with subtitles. And Encanto is a newer disney Musical. I think you would enjoy that too.

I'm gonna have to look into "your name" cuz I'm not a big anime watcher but I can definitely say I've seen Encanto and I think it's either the next movie I'm editing or the one after that. I just subscribed to your channel. I LOVE your Greatest Showman reaction! I’d love to see you react to Les Miserables, with Hugh Jackman, also! The whole movie is done in song (very little spoken parts). But all the singing was recorded live, not dubbed in later. It’s one of the greatest musicals ever written!

YES you like musicals…. And a few suggestions following. I’m subbing to this channel yesterday- your reaction is genuine and amazing!! *I* love when reactions have all the feels because I’m a blubbering mess when I feel them by myself!! *Have you seen Keala Settle in the greenlight workshop video* if not go watch it YESTERDAY. It was beautiful in the movie but DAMN. That woman is amazing and feeling some genuine emotion. Yes you want to see Hamilton. Usually I say it’s gateway musical bc so many people who love it are not typically interested in theater… but I really think you’ll love it. *I* am not typically into rap but gave it a listen bc Lin Manuel Miranda is such a brilliant songwriter… it became one of my favorites! The sung pieces exceeded expectations and the rap gave me a whole new appreciation for THAT art.

There's no guarantee you'll like it, since it's full-on musical, but you should check out Les Misérables. It's an amazing story and musical, and it also stars Hugh Jackman.

Loved this reaction!! According to Zendaya she did all of the stunts, that high up, with no net at the bottom and no wires!!! She had an interview with jimmy Fallon talking about it.

And a suggestion that warrants its own post: Come From Away. It’s a true story which not many knows, COMING FROM a true story that everyone knows….. and encompassing a lot of individual true stories. You will feel ALL of the feelings, and truly see some of the best of humanity. *Every American AND EVERY CANADIAN needs to see it.* If you close your eyes it sounds like a massive cast, but it’s only 12 actors plus the band! It was written and premiered at a college in Toronto before hitting Broadway 4 or 5 years later It’s on Apple TV… I actually signed up with a free trial and ended up keeping the subscription bc I loved it so much.

PT Barnum was actually a pretty horrible person, so it's very odd that they made this movie the way they did instead of creating an original character. The emotionality of the movie and the music is great, but for me the knowledge of just how awful Barnum was and how much his performers suffered is a bucket of cold water. There's also a really weird character assasination of Jenny Lind, who by all accounts was a pretty standup person who did a lot for charity, so it's weird they decided to paint her as a jealous Other Woman.

So not to be that guy, but I'm gonna be that guy. I've watched this video more times than I'd like to admit and can guarantee that I didn't spend one iota of a second saying I didn't like this movie. If anything I praised this movie from beginning to end and the only complaint I had was the 2nd song because I wasn't expecting it to come so soon. I'm always down for some constructive criticism but at least watch the video before clearly trolling for attention. But thanks for attempting to watch and have a great day and wonderful new year 😊
