Everything GREAT About Spider-Man: Homecoming! 

I always wondered why people were so annoyed about Aunt May being young. She's his AUNT, after all. Not his grandmother.

I can't believe you didn't win that hilarious scene when Ned said "I'm...looking...at...porn."

I thought Keaton was absolutely menacing not as Vulture, but as the dad. The car scene was unnerving.

i hope tom holland plays Spiderman for a long time. he perfectly plays the role by just being a kid. peter wasnt invincible, he had to learn this to get to where he was later in the next few movies

What really struck me is that when he saved Vulture, he didn't tell people. Peter is just a kid, who could have easily bigged himself up to Tony to impress him. I don't know, the whole end of that scene just felt so humble

Probably very late to the party, but I love how they leaned into Vulture's whole aesthetic by making him a villain whose whole business is built on picking apart dead bodies. Just like how real vultures mostly scavenge for food rather than hunting. Edit: got to the end of the video. He totally addressed this already. Oops.

I'm honestly so happy for a younger May. She actually looks like his aunt and not his grandma.

I love how when aunt may screamed “what the fu-“ you can see Peters eyes widen

You know, I really love how distinctive each MCU film is, doctor strange is a fantasy film, winter soilder feels like a spy mystery thriller, and homecoming feels well.... Like a highschool movie. No one movie in this entire saga feels beat beat for beat the same. And I really like that.

I love the detail that Peter’s constantly filming things because he has an interest in photography.

This one was really good. Tom Holland is excellent! The "teenagers" were, overall, fairly great. Marisa Tomei doesn't try to expand a rather small role, but packs very much into it. Michael Keaton brings psychological realism to comicbook villainy. He is definitely a bad guy, he's just a principled eye-for-an-eye guy: if you help him or at least don't mess with him, you are safe. Threaten his plans, you are dead. RDJ performs a high-schooler's idea of an adult: doesn't help, doesn't listen, doesn't appreciate, doesn't realize that in your own eyes you already are what you are striving to become. And, ultimately, someone who actually cares, tries to help without keeping you from growing, and who you really should have listened to.

You know how peters just overall happy in this film? Yeahhh, no way home fucks him up bad

"Hey Spiderman! Do a flip!" **Does a backflip.** As a 90's kid, this scene alone sold the movie for me.

The scariest part of the scene with Vulture in the car is that given Peter’s enhanced senses even if he didn’t see the gun he would have heard it being cocked,and he would have been able to smell the gunpowder plus the whole thing is a stark reminder that Peter really is just a kid. Sidenote I actually found Vulture more terrifying when he was out of the Vulture suit and was just being Toome’s, he was actually super intimidating just as a normal guy.

Doesn’t young aunt may make more sense since that’s his mother/father sister unless his parents are really old. Also it was a great twist on the character,in my head this makes a lot more sense.

this movie gets a win for making everyone on my band bus go "he quit marching band???" in quiet horror when we discovered peter quit marching band when we watched this movie on the way back from utah

1:56 you can just feel how genuine that was. That laugh and tom hallond eyeing him and half mouthing "what" I can't- it's too pure

I love how his phone screen gets more and more cracked throughout the movie. It’s a detail they didn’t have to put in, but they did.

Might I add that I appreciated the lack of a kiss scene? The simple, awkward "I like you" kept Peter grounded in his shy teenage personality, not some "I've been reborn as a suave and confident badass in my superhero lifestyle" thing that you'd expect.

Toms acting in the scene where he figures out where Vulture is Liz' dad! Damn you can see in the paleness of his face he was truly scared in that moment. amazing acting!

Give more points to the fact that people were more suspicious of Peter being spider man because they actually realize he goes missing and then spider man shows up

I watched this in theatre and one of the two guys in front of me said "what a whimp" at 13:57 ... I'm sorry, but how would you react if you were being crushed under rubble?!?!? Probably the same reaction as Peter

this movie just made me so giddy. I don't care about the criticisms and inconsistencies with other things. I just LOVE the humanity from Tom.

For me one of the funniest parts was when MJ flipped him off after waving to him

I like Zendaya's character both in her own right and as a love interest for Peter, I just have a hard time seeing her as MJ in anything but name. That said, the fact that her real name is Michelle Jones and not Mary Jane tells me that they're aware of this and just gave her the nickname as a nod to the comics, which I can appreciate.

I love how everyone wanted Donald Glover to play Miles but he just gets a cameo in Homecoming

4:08 I noticed how Cinemasins puts on random sins to pad out the sin counter, while Cinemawins puts on random wins because they love the movie and their fans. :)

My favorite scene is in the bank, where Spider-man confronts the robbers wearing Avengers masks, because the poster behind him says, “Identity theft? We have you covered” and then Peter makes a joke about them “being the Avengers” when they really obviously aren’t the avengers, it’s just perfect lol

Tom Holland needs to play Spider-Man for a long time. He fits the roll so well

Can I just say, this was one of the best movie casts I’ve seen in a long time.

A few seconds before 6.19 I love how they make these three films Tom Holland's origin story, building up aunt may and peters relationship really makes it hit alot harder than just having Ben die 10 minutes into the first film and brushing over it

I really like the little subtle thing about Peter being slightly afraid of the plane referencing his parent's deaths.

There are only 2 wins I feel you forgot to mention. 1. The young Aunt May actually makes more sense than her previous incarnations. Think about it, it makes no sense for Peter's mother to have a sister that looks like she's in her 80's. Plus, it's his Aunt May, not his _Great_ Aunt May. 2. "I'm.....loooking......at porn."

"Everyone thinks you fall into your designated groups for 4 years." I mean....yeah Also, Aunt May looking younger definitely works. If Peter is ~15, then his Mom could be 40 (if she was alive and had Peter at 25). Heck, Aunt May could be the younger sister to Peter's Mom, so she could easily be 35, which is wayyyyy younger than the previous Aunt May's that looked 60+

The vulture twist scene was the one that spooked me the most, damn Michael Keaton and Tom Holland were amazing And the scene where he picks up the wreckage after vulture drops it on him gave me goosebumps

Holy shit hearing that optimistic opening music hits way too different after watching No Way Home

What I like that they did with Peter is that they made him a terrible driver. He always was a shotty driver in the comics and I’m glad to see that transition over to the big screen.

that hug where tony was just trying to open the door, it was unscripted. tom holland just thought it would be funny if peter thought tony was trying to hug him, and rdj being, well, rdj, played off of that and it made for one of my favorite clips ever ((edit: also, tom holland did as many of his own stunts as possible. he's also trained in gymnastics and i just love him so much. tom holland is the best spiderman, imo.

I also love how toomes doesnt want to hurt peter, when he figures it out, he tells him to stop and doesnt hurt him until he has to, and he doesnt reveal his identity, it makes him feel more real, because only psychopaths want to know they have a childs blood on their hands

Easily my favorite live action. All the performances, the pacing, and the scale are all perfect for a real "First Spider-Man" outing. Keaton and Holland KILLED their roles and this is the first time I can say I really liked The Vulture of all villains! Loved the video as a quick little catch up for the new movie! Thank you!

Can I also mention how when Vulture is figuring out Peter's identity they are at a red light, so you can see the very second he figures it out because the light changed to green and lights up his face green. He isn't just the intimidating dad anymore, he is in the supervillian mindset with his face lit by the same color as his comic book vulture suit.

2:55 great point. There are definitely cliques, and people hang out with their typical groups, but there’s no set boundaries might get you ostracized if you cross them. My best friend plays smash during lunch, but sometimes I go to sit with another friend of mine, who was homecoming royalty. After school I might hang out with my friends before their track practice starts, but only if I don’t see my theater friends first. We don’t just talk to the same 5 people every day

In that scene with Peter panicking, stuck under all that ruble, I got the sickest feeling in my stomach. It's acted so well; it's totally believable. I went full-on Tony Stark Paternal Instinct in that moment.

I honestly love the scene where Tony is telling off peter while peter doesn't know he's in the suit. If you see, peter steps up when he accuses Tony of not being there and not caring and when tony steps out of the suit, the realization that Tony DOES in fact care, and that he is very much so mad, it causes peter to step back very quickly instantaneously. Almost like a kid trying to step up to their parents with a one liner and instantly getting put back into their place.

The fact that Tony designed the nano-tech Spider-Man suit for Peter instead of the nano-tech Iron Man suit for himself is generous and really sweet!

My favorite line in this movie is “ahh he’s big now i gotta go”

I know I've said it before but I still love that cinema wins caught the time difference from the blip before any of us knew what it was. Also WTF MARVEL, THE DETAIL. It's wild that they wrote in that much detail to get stuff right like this time jump that almost no one would have noticed if they never said anything.

Wow! Seen this and the film a bunch. And yet, that "Come on Spider-Man!" hit me right in the feels and pulled up some tears. Damn. So Good!

I also really loved how vulnerable peter is. A lot of times with male characters they aren't allowed to show any emotion beyond anger or strength, but this peter didn't follow that. I thought it was really refreshing to see a character who cries, messes up and feels sorry, shows his emotions, and genuinely cares about his friends while still being strong and saving lives in the process

one thing i really love about the scene at 12:47 is the lighting. something about his face turning red then green from the traffic lights really gives me chills

I like how the vulture is genuinely a caring man and is so friendly toward a Peter until he learns what’s up. Additionally, how even when in prison, he refused to give away his identity, showing that he understood Peter was just doing what, as a hero, he had to do

I gotta say this is the best spider-man i've seen. Having him be in the MCU makes it even better. You get to see his child like wonder at all the crazy stuff in this movie and civil war.

By far, my favorite part of Marvel's spidey is that he's a KID. They need to write him like one. Peter is supposed to be my age, and in these movies (as in civil war, infinity war, and obviously this one) he behaves exactly how I and a bunch of my classmates and friends would. He's excited, he's happy to be part of something, he's dorky and nervous but he lets himself have fun, and he's confident in himself even when he messes up. I ADORE Tom Holland's portrayal.

Can we all acknowledge the fact that they threw in a classic "Suit-up Run" in this movie? I loved that scene!

Two things: 1) I've seen your videos in my suggested feed for a few years now and I just started watching and I love it. I think its amazing that you can find so much positivity in even some dark/"bad" movies (not nessecarily applicable to this one, but you get my point) 2) Could you do the pirates of the carribean movies? I love them and I would love to hear your take on them

8:20 actually that little spider tracking thing appeared in the spider-man comics and has helped him alot in tracking down the mysterio and defeat him

5:36 I'm an only child, and I got bunk beds for both sleep overs, and also because the bunk bed I got, the bottom bunk folded into a couch, which made playing videos games a lot more comfortable.

I love this channel. There’s just something cathartic about someone nitpicking the good things instead of the bad of movies. It also creates an enriching environment wherein you’re not afraid to like a certain movie because there’s definitely some good to see in it.

Not sure if anyone's pointed it out yet, but during the ending, when Aunt May finds out, you can actually see Peter's eyes widen, sort of in a "Oh crap" moment

I think the beauty of MCU spiderman is it's able to reflect the effects of what happens in the MCU on the citizens/ the world besides just little basic plot things; the little gags about Cap being a PSA are just things I find really interesting.

What i really like about the Vulture was when he found out that Peter was Spiderman instead of killing him after the dance or coming after him, he himself lets Peter go. What a villian!

I noticed this when I first saw it but I gotta say, they fucking nailed the high school interactions in these mcu spiderman movies. My high school also had one of those "students doing the school news" and HC's version of it was fucking perfect! The awkwardness, the line delivery. COMIC SANS! Perfect. Me and my younger brother died laughing

I totally love MJs character in the MCU and it fits so well with Peters character😂

I just realized that the story is so complete by itself that I've never wondered about MCU Peter's parents. Like, ever...

I wonder how Liz reacted when she learned he was Spider-man, did she get mad at him for putting her dad in prison? Did she understand why he left her at Homecoming? Did she ask her dad about what happened and he told her spider-man saved him? It's interesting to think about. (Also if something happens with this in the third movie please don't spoil I haven't seen it yet.)

I think the moment where he decided to leave the dance and Liz to go fight the Vulture deserved a win too!

I love the half mask scene when he is trapped. It is great to see a comic liftr inspiration like that in a live action movie.

I feel like the vulture didn’t reveal peter not just because he was connected to his daughter but also because peter spared him. He wasn’t originally a villain, he was a hard working business man and his business was taken from him. He keeps pictures his daughter drew as a child and is a caring dad. There’s a great reddit post on /askreddit about what it’s like being a psychiatrist who evaluates wether a prisoner can be released. The psychiatrist told the judge the prisoner shouldn’t be released and when they talked to the prisoner later and asked “are we still cool?” Because they were freaked out that someone may be sent after them. The guy said “Yeah. You did your job. I won’t ask you to lie for me. You do your job and I do mine.” To a lot of criminals specifically organized ones like Tooms who aren’t crazy, they aren’t focused on revenge. When someone in their world crosses them there’s consequences, but they understand the rest of the world has a job and they don’t expect the world to cover for them. It’s an odd disconnect but the organized ones like Tooms don’t really fault the people just doing their jobs because they aren’t part of “that world”. So I think it’s actually realistic that Tooms kept his mouth shut even if Liz wasn’t involved or in danger if he did (because let’s be honest he’s probably still controlling the crew from behind bars and could keep her safe)

People need to stop hating on MJ. You need to understand she is NOT Mary Jane from the Spiderman trilogy. She is Michelle Jones, her own unique character, and her saying she went by MJ in homecoming was just a little reference that marvel wanted us to have fun with. Don't hate homecoming MJ because she isn't like the original MJ!

Peter lifting those two big pillars is one of the most underrated scenes in the MCU

The dialog between Keaton and Holland in the car is one of my favorite in any media, so much tension and because we saw him murder the other dude you can totally envision Vulture murdering Peter. Probably only second to D'Onofrio and Deborah Ann Woll at the end of Daredevil, that might be one of the best scenes ever filmed (the camera work is incredible in that scene).

I was pretty surprised that there wasn't a win for Peter's teacher being from The Incredible Hulk, that's one of my favorite little details of this movie! Loved the video, keep up the great work!!!

For anyone who rewatches civil war and homecoming its pointed out that peter Parker has a bunk bed however in civil war he has a double bed just a small detail I was unsure if anyone noticed

HOW COULD HE NOT MENTION PETER REMOVING HIS TIE AND STUFF WHILE RUNNING DOWN THE HALLWAY THAT WAS ONE OF THE BEST SCENES IVE EVER SEEN

What I loved about Tom's Spiderman is the fact that as a kid I can relate to him the same way older fans related to the character back when the marvel cinematic universe wasn't even an idea. The Spider man role has been passed like a torch and people have grown up with it from to the people who watched the Maguire's movies as children who are now adults to the children who are currently watching Tom's iteration brings a sense that as viewers Spiderman has come full circle and the older audience can share something with their children that they treasured which can then can be passed on Edit: Woah didn't expect many likes but thanks guys😁

Some of the best Tony scenes come from this movie, like in the car with the "Hope your wearing something skimpy" joke, the "it's not a hug" comment, and the proposal at the end. The proposal is my favorite scene ever though.

I like that he’s written and feels like an actual kid. The first ever comic featuring spider man? They introduced him as 13. MIDDLE SCHOOL!

I wonder how much of Tony's chronic left arm injury was ever in the script, and how much was RDJ making a character choice. It was rarely mentioned, but consistently visible.

also i think that the "cliques" in this universe are alot more toned down to a more modern sense; to me it's more "rich vs.poor" which I think is going to be alot more common

The thing I liked best about this film was that the high school actually looked like it had teenagers there, not twenty five year old's like every other Spiderman thing. Also the fact it doesn't end on a funeral, its the second one that didn't.

When i started this video, I jumped right at the best part in my opinion, when peter arrives at the villain's house to pick up his date, first of all I didn't expect at all that, but the whole scene that followed was so good, very tense, it gave me chills, and wow, it was just so good

I saw this at 11 and I was like "Okay, pretty sick movie. 8/10" and now I watch this at 15 and it feels way more relatable than ever
