I think this is the first time I’ve seen an interview with Elon. My take away from it was…he is a gentleman, he cares, he’s transparent, and I trust him. Thank you for a tremendously interesting interview.
@Teresa Iche followed him for years & think he's mostly good, but add in also a level of ruthlessness (shouldn't be surprising, arguably part of his success at disruption), can also be brash online, lash out at critics / make enemies & drama needlessly. Also a naive idealist at times. Overall, he has big flaws for sure but I don't think he's nefarious, nor does it outweigh the immense good he's doing for the world. Also, haters are 1000x more toxic than him at his worst, & without any of the good he's doing.
@Enrique You’re stuck in the past. There’s a separation of church and state in this country, meaning the United States, so “religious freaks”will never have power to subdue progress.
@Shapur Sasan …imagine how advanced we would be if the religious freaks didn’t start the inquisition or cutting peoples heads because they speak their mind…that is the point!!! Jeez use some common sense and logic and reasoning….
@Sallywag you’re one of those people that says you got freedom and oil…but what about the freedom of choosing what energy source you want to use!!! We should be able to use Al and every source of energy from oil to electricity to gas to wind to steam to nuclear to whatever…just give us the freedom to choose!!!!
ARE YOU FOR REAL DUDE?? Delivers on nothing, makes "promises" he cant (and has no intention of) keep, has utterly crazy and unrealistic mars visions, had NOTHING to do with Tesla founding, called the dude who saved they kids that trapped a PEDO and on and on and on, he is just the ultimate con-man and if you actually go back through so much of what he says, the fact anyone calls him a genius is the maddest thing about it all hahahaha .....ThunderfoOT and Common Sense Skeptic are 2 channels you Muskrats actually be told the truth, pure numbers, all broken down, hard science....3 things NEVER provided by this charlatan ....oh and they disprove all his "slept on factory floor" lies etc too lol oh and also he is in NO way a "decent human being" considering the ex-wives, kids and so on :(
You got all fooled . Elon is a psychopath . But don't worry @ first i was to . But thats just a thing psychopaths are really good in pretending and imitate emotions
he just laid off 8000 people who zero notice. and it's not about money as he doesn't need it. and it's certainly not about improving humanity as it's all speculation (I could just as easliy argue by the time the sun expands, we'll have evolved into be balls of electricity anyway and therefore no need for rockets/mars etc). he talks a lot of nonsense too.
I cannot even imagine how he does all of the things that he does while also running multiple advanced technology companies at the same time, and yet he is so relaxed and calm, it does not seem to be humanly possible. Possibly he already has an AI neural link embedded into his brain.
Ahh, so now his Alien origin is starting to show, otherwise why would you give your offspring the code to open the door of his spaceship. The one that crash landed on Mars after his ejection pod took him safely to the South of that Continent, the one where it's people have reverted from tech.
I admire him for his work and efforts and honest opinions. I might not always agree, but he stands by his opinion even in these times where you get attacked for wrong opinion. I call that backbone.
Elon is so damn clever bright minded and quite surprisingly he has also a great sense of humour I think it's nearly impossible for someone to not admire him!!
Sadly the corrupt political media has brainwashed many into hating him without knowing anything about his true nature, which is engineering and bettering humanity
I have watched so many interviews with Elon over the past few years. I have yet to find even ONE reason why the left is trying to vilify him! I think he will have an impact on social media equivalent to his impact on EV and space travel. He continues to give me a reason to look forward to exciting times in the future. 👍
@John Henry I have read plenty from the many who are freaking out because the Left no longer controls the narrative. I have yet to read one thing that is not an outright lie. Stop sulking and GROW UP!
@zyvaux When you want to create something special you need special people around you, one man can't so it alone, sounds harsh but you really need to sort out people that come to job only for the paycheck those people can drag an entire team down.
Ron Baron has a young person's ability to ask questions, and an older person's wisdom to select which questions -- plus the opportunity to exercise those complementary abilities to interview someone worthy of his talents. Thank you Ron & Elon for a too-short hour.
He's a busy man and has alot of responsibility. I guess him sleeping at his factory is as close to home as he can get right now. So hats off to Elon ..hang in their and your doing great job.
Actually mathematics, economics and statistics are three separate and distinct fields and can differ drastically amongst themselves and from asset management.
twitter was a joke anyways. lol 3700 useless jobs, wgaf. some shadiness with paypal etc back in the day but hey no one's perfect. also who cares, do you... for ev1 that hates ppl that are successful and aren't just useless bots like themselves.
@gmy33 it’s not about Biden being in control, he’s obviously a delusional puppet. I’m saying understand Marxism. Realize that since as early as 1932 there’s been a plot to take down America. Know that the word “Federal” in Federal Reserve was used only to deceive the people as they are privately owned and operated. Know that the Federal Reserve is a result of the agreement Woodrow Wilson made with individual bankers and that he realized only after he had been played that he himself said (not exact words) he had u wittingly put America’s financial freedom in the hands of but a few men. Know that Marxism’s goal is to bring ruin to morality. Marxism acknowledges that to destroy morality, you have to destroy the church, to do that you have to destroy the nuclear family (Dad+Mom+Child in 1 house), centralized banking creates inflation, inflation is a transfer of wealth over time. Meaning if Dad is the only worker in the nuclear home, after say 5 years Dad needs to work more hours, 10 years Dad either takes 2 jobs or Mom gets a part time job, 15 years Mom goes full time, all the while they’re much too busy to have any clue what little Jimmy was learning in school, they were so busy little Jimmy didn’t get moral values instilled into him, he decides now he’ll become little Jeanne, Mom and Dad are clueless that while they were too busy the corrupt school system trained up the child in the way they wished the boy to go. Marxism understands that if you want to control the people you must control the food, control the energy (fuel + electricity) you will control the continent, control the money and you control the world (aka inflation transferring the wealth over time through generations). Marxism hates Capitalism because Capitalism makes people want too much, so the solution is make everyone equal. A good thought in the mind, but in the mind you don’t have factors of reality. Such as Wayne over here is a lazy bum and will suck the life out of the people because he’s not going to do his part but he will still be equal. He doesn’t care if he wastefully eats too much food, burns too much power, does too much this or that, because he’ll just be made equal with the rest. See Capitalism says this at its core, “What service can I be to you, that you would willingly open your wallet and give me money?” In other words can I make you a meal, can I build you a house, can I build you a vehicle, computer, etc. in other words it doesn’t breed leeches. You have to get off your tail and be a service to someone in order to have something in life. The reason that doesn’t seem accurate is because we’re playing with the centralized bank that keeps upping the inflation. So basically overtime so long as your no investor and only a worker you will self select to be poor. If inflation were to be done away with then a house 15 years ago would cost the same then as today. But they have conditioned us to believe it has to be this way or needs to be this way because that’s all we know. Anyhow this is way overloaded with info and many will probably pick out a thing or 2 that struck a nerve and choose to remain ignorant rather than dig in and see the truth for themselves. I probably won’t waste time with a return reply if it’s bred with hostility
@Edwin Jansen exactly the only guy that sells you something without marketing ... i bet you use 100 products in your oife from conpanies who spen more on narketing than elon ..
Incredible insight into Elon's style on how he runs it's businesses and his thoughts on a broader scale. A rare gem. May we be fortune to have him around for a long time!
Delivers on nothing, makes "promises" he cant (and has no intention of) keep, has utterly crazy and unrealistic mars visions, had NOTHING to do with Tesla founding and on and on and on, he is just the ultimate con-man and if you actually go back through so much of what he says, the fact anyone calls him a genius is the maddest thing about it all hahahaha .....ThunderfoOT and Common Sense Skeptic are 2 channels you Muskrats actually be told the truth, pure numbers, all broken down, hard science....3 things NEVER provided by this charlatan ....oh and they disprove all his "slept on factory floor" lies etc too lol
@John Henry He built the world's fastest road car, that silently beats a Ferrari, McLaren or Lambo on the quarter mile. He has designed much more efficient batteries, and gave us reusable spaceships that don't fuck up our atmosphere. And that's for starters.
An interviewer asked Elon Musk how Neuralink works in a real human ....The interview is shown on Video by YT CH Sling and Stone ...2 weeks ago ... Elon Musk at a microphone explains coldly and smirking even laughs arrogantly.. " the skull is removed.. the Neuralink device is then inserted and set into the skull connecting it to the brain connections to the existing nerves ... And the skull is then sewn back ... So You don't even know they have it " ( paraphrased ) \One video says he already took the neuralink himself
hahahaha what???? are you for real lol ??
@Reverend Barker you might not know or care about all of the genuinely cool, real things that Elon has done and is doing, but if you think someone who draws inspiration from him is leading an empty life, you’re either stupid/misinformed or you have a hidden agenda. I’m going to assume the later, because you seem to like assumptions.
I don't think we were watching the same interview...example: he asked why other rocket companies don't build reusable rockets then interjected 'probably because they want to sell more rockets' 22:09' before Elon started answering. ??? His multiple attempts to come up with a cost/profit analysis for Tesla etc...
I can see why Elon is so successful. This is the first time I have paid attention to what he has to say. I also read a little about him for the first time. His visions are large and life has rewarded him commensurate to his visions. May his errors be few and his successes increase.
Dividends are what got me into investing in the stock market. The thing to me is, if you invest and have other income outside of dividends then you will be able to live off dividends without selling. Which means you can pass that on to your kids which will give them a leg up in life. Have over $600K in my portfolio as I bought a lot of dividend stocks before, I'm buying more now, and I will buy more when it drops further.
yea as a new investor it's always great to hear from a person who has gone through all the difficult times and come ahead of it. It's unnerving to see your portfolio go from green to red but as mentioned if you have invested in quality names just have to keep adding to them and stay the course
This talk really made thousands of people on Twitter (usually Left side) look extremely stupid by proving to have opinions based on emotions and hearsay. Hope Elon succeeds, as ever, in his endeavors for all of us. (Not because he said or did something bad or likable.)

@sandponics No the only thing stopping me was building a house so my wife and I could raise three kids, while my dealing with a disability and running my own treelopping business to support them and get the kids through school, etc. Not everyone can ' Hit the Road Jack ' when they feel like it.
If we could only have a fraction of Elon's knowledge and wisdom and he seems to have no lack of common sense, amazing person to listen to in the hour of an interview, thank you Ron Baron
What an amazing human being, so brilliant, so humble, so funny, so calm and easygoing. He is almost too good to be real. but he is. I love this guy. What an inspiration he is to the world.
Ron Baron has given Elon Musk the opportunity in this worthwhile interview to demonstrate what a clear sighted exceptionally intelligent human being he is; a true visionary who can lead the way by his deeds.
The fact that so many millions of people look to Elon for his opinion on almost anything tells you the enormous amount of respect he has earned globally. I'm a huge Elon Musk fan. I just wish he could come back and run South Africa for us.
I love that Elon is able to define and explain all aspects of his businesses simplistically. The world needs his way of thinking in all aspects of society.
Whenever you have worked your whole life, that's all you know and I can't just sit down personally. Elon is just getting to a point where he can breathe a little easier. It takes total dedication to do the jobs that he has achieved.
How is he humble? He literally claims ideas as his own that weren't his (Hyperloop, VTVL launchers). I agree he is brilliant... but only at marketing himself. The vast majority of his promises he has never executed on. He has also outright lied about several things (economics about it being "financially insane" not to buy a Tesla, the economics of boring company being 10x cheaper, solarcity is also a massive scam). He is a 21st century snakeoil salesman. He is also a nasty person to work for.
I am new to the stock market. Every stock that I bought so far, I was out of luck because I bought them when they were expensive. I feel I missed out on all the stock opportunities so far for the tech stocks. I believe having 75K yearly income would be a good investment so I want to plug all my savings into the stock market. I know this sounds a bit dull but I would like to know if I should learn investing or let somebody else (more capable like a FA) do it for me? Please share your thoughts. I am kind of tired of searching for a good stock to buy and losing all the good opportunities
Wow I know Mrs Ashley . I met her at a conference in carlifornia 2019 where she introduced us her business strategy, she helped me cover my student loans
My portfolio/investment manager Ashley has an investment platform where you don't need to stress in your trades all you need to do is invest and watch your trade grow from your dashboard😊
Elon Musk has a beautiful mind. I had not realized it but his words carry profound meanings even if they go pas at a tremendous speed. He is enlightened.
We are so lucky to watch a person like Elon in our lifetime who is thinking out of the box constantly and making things happen for the good of this and next generations.
Loved that insight where he said he was sleeping on the Shop floor where shift workers could see him. Shows them that they’re all in it together. Hints at a true team culture.
I so enjoy listening to and watching Elon Musk! He seems such a genuine person - with "no guile" - and he makes me laugh with his wit and common sense!
He speaks to reality. Even on a construction site, simple tasks get lost to procedure and cost in time and wasted effort. As it is with ANY manufacturing process. This is why it takes work to manage the process and to be directly involved, so the communication is not only relevant but beneficial during the build. Too many businesses miss this extremely important variable. Then when it is finally going off the rails, often times, it's too late to salvage some or all of the process. The millenial mind thinks business is some mystical lottery. It is somehow percieved that a degree and some relatively useful level of intelligence will yield great and wonderful things. The reality, however, couldn't be further from the truth. Bill Gates isnt a tech wizard. Paul Allen and a few others were the wizards, Gates understood the principle, but better understood how to market and manage the development of the product (with a very significant amount of legal input from his father) and eventually gaining market share to sustain his process...which is STILL, to this day, sub par in so many ways. Direct involvement and the understanding of the thing you are producing as well a hands on input will always guarantee positive results in the manufacture and the production of both hard assets and proprietary ones.
I think it would be amazing for Elon to make an online Twitter university. He strongly believes anyone can learn anything from online resources so if he could compile information for specific degrees that would be amazing. Don’t include the crap that doesn’t actually support the degree or erroneous credit hour requirements in certain knowledge categories that have nothing to do with the degree someone has chosen would be ideal. Distill the information necessary for the degree/knowledge area to the most potent amount of information as possible could completely change the university game.
Not exactly. Sure gigapress eliminates a lot of processes, but the overall number of hours to build a Tesla is stil quite a bit more than most other mass produced cars. They've overcomplicated, so much so that the insurance companies total Teslas at a much higher rate that something like a Camry.
Inflation hits people a lot harder than a crashing stock or housing market as it directly affects people's cost of living that people immediately feel the impact of. It's not surprising negative market sentiment is so high now. We really need help to survive in this Economy.
If half of the content providers on social media were as good as Olivia Jersey, bitcoin trading enthusiasts will be some of the richest self made of the last decade. We need more guides like him.
My first lnvestment with her gave me profit of over $40,000 with 3k I lnvested and ever since then she has never failed to deliver and I can even say she is the most sincere broker I have known
Wow! I invest and buy cryptocurrencies but Mostly waiting for the rise to sell, but currently am at lost due to the current downfall in price of crypto currencies. This is a great opportunity for me to start my crypto trading so i can regain the money l have lost.
@David Lockett So "compassionate" his geopolitical tweets about, and the cave diver and his submarine, and the persons he fires via email and online tweets. And his world hunger tweet where he dodged paying the 6 billions to the UN Food director reply, he is literally the world "example" of compassion
@Sergio Manzetti "True" inventor : buys himself into Tesla, Paypal, SolarCity and takes existing ideas vaccum train and Swiss Metro for Hyperloop, solar passenger plane, electric car from others. Also takes credit for technologies invented by others "Tesla" batteries in reality Panasonic batteries, and solar panels from Chinese company, FSD, reusable rockets, etc

@David Lockett 🤦♂️ without the need? What are you talking about? Royalties come everytime he gives a patent out regardless. He obviously knows that. You must think he is a billionaire in cash money so doesn't need more 🤣🤣🤣 Please learn how the mind of the rich works. Even when a billionaire, they will work and work for more. It's an addiction which every rich person will tell you.
@RUSTY Elon Musk already has more money than God, and he has made many patents available without the need to pay him royalties, so what are you talking about.
@Daniel Katona - I take issue with most claims he has lied as just being overly optimistic projections. But his comments on Twitter put off a real stench with the changing plans, justifications, and faulty rationalizations. I also disagree he is all about money. He does not live a lavish lifestyle and he works way harder than most people when he does no't need to work at all to do things he thinks will help humanity. I just think he is delusional that he is the one to make twitter better when he has been an abuser of it.
Evil is a strong word. He is not afraid to lie about anything non-stop to make himself richer and more respected, but that's not evil, just simply a shitty thing to do.
Bravo. Bravo. Brilliance. Hard work. Something called ethics. Something else called honesty. Something else called bravery. Bravo. This is John Wayne and Bruce Willis and all the rest. Only for real. I think he is a hero.
I just wonder how Elon was in his 3rd grade classroom. Also, his interaction with his mom during homework, in the evening, during this time. Further more, don’t die before your time Elon like Walt Disney did.
I really hope that this brilliant individual is giving thought and investment toward succession planning. I worry about what will happen to these great ventures if they are dependant on the leadership and vision of just one man. The mark of a good leader is that they can mentor and enable other great leaders. Who will replace Elon?
I like at the end when they wanted to do a Q and A, "they said no Q and A, the powers at bay." Elon responded "Who are "they"? I may not agree with the push so fast to electric cars, but I think Elon inspires people to be innovative and ask why. Definitely applaud his work ethic and drive.
Glad I watched this. As a veteran writer & journalist, not given to cock-eyed optimism I was relieved even hopeful to learn more of Musk's intentions & plans for Twitter. Having had direct experience of various 20thC media magnates that include Northcliffe, Maxwell, Murdoch & Dow Jones, my observation is that these are men interested ultimately in wealth & power, they were never men of integrity or imagination. Of today's billionaires, of which I am aware, the only one whose words & track record appear to genuinely possess some such integrity & imagination is Elon Musk. His choice of Twitter as the rescue vehicle for free speech is not just credible but is incredibly timely. The Fourth Estate as was is brain dead the era of the Citizen journalist is perhaps nigh. The Spirit of Tom Paine still flickers!
It< makes sense, BTC and crypto is off helping to regulate, rather than pretend it won't ever happen. The big institutions getting in is the catalyst that will launch us into the stratosphere. Most people don't like change but after the change is made they grow used to it and it becomes a non issue usually because their fears never materialize. The projects that initiated the process of regulation have not been ruined, they got involved in setting guidelines and helping the regulators understand the crypto space. I’d get involved more knowing that I have made over 7 btc and 15ETH from day-trade with Ryan Donald. Crypto in few weeks
@Elizabet Avila Thank you, I can't tell you how grateful I am to you for sharing your insightful. Sadly, too many people are going to get hurt because they failed to educate themselves on this subject.
Ryan Donald helped me to understand technical analysis, now I can examine the current chart and predict which way the market will go, he is definitely the best pro trader I know.
What a great time to be alive….to all those who have dreamed about what it would be like to be in the time of DaVinci, Einstein, Tesla, etc, look no further, history will look back at these times in awe.
I like the fact Elon is not afraid to look outside the box not only for an answer but to apply processes and problem solve, he doesn’t care on the surface what people think of him because his passion to do better has a result of the right outcome, so much hate out there from social media left and right lack of understanding.
