Highway 17 in Santa Cruz County was pounded by rain and whipping winds. Downed trees and power lines made for a tangled mess that made driving difficult and full of detours.

Got trapped in Boulder Creek yesterday afternoon. Drove up hwy 9 from Felton into the area to do a quick job....20 minutes later 5 huge trees had fallen across the hwy. Interesting afternoon.

I won't be working today if I were a Doordash driver or Uber or Lyft or any Delivery service. Is it worth the risk to get injured or killed? That lady needs to get some common sense and go home.
