Always disappointing to hear these stories. I've been kept from my son his entire life and I count down the days until I'm standing in front of him on his 18th birthday. Unfortunately, people seem better and more genuine and then later you find out there aren't quite what they seemed. I can only hate a dude who knows he has a kid out there and makes 0 effort to be a part of their lives. I hope your days get better and it's not too hard raising your child alone

This brought me to tears. I became a single mother at the age of 26 when her father committed suicide. Image was only 18 months old and it was the toughest things I had to endure. I worked three jobs to maintain our home. I missed out raising her as an infant and toddler. Now she is going to be 10 and I couldn’t be more grateful to see how she is appreciates all I do for her. It's awesome to see that life goes on and God has a way of positioning you for something better-- even when we don't realize it while we are going thru it. Now, Future should feel like an a$$ bcuz Ciara was too good for him in the first place... He (Future) will realize it when he is too old to be worth anything. So glad Ciara didn't waste years trying to rehab this relationship.

This is for someone out there. I know you're crying not knowing how you're gonna make it for you and your family. I felt that way as a teen mother. It hurt to be pregnant and abandoned by someone I was involved with for years. Fast forward 20 years + not only did I make it, but I provided a life 10x better than what I had as a child.. Yes it was hard, there will be tears and sh is downright unfair but you will learn from it and grow through it. God is with you, you can NOT fail you will thrive.🙏

I became a mom at 19, almost 20 years old and I have never received so much judgement in my entire life. People have put me down, shamed me, told me i’ll never make it. During my pregnancy, I discovered this song and i’m going to make it my daughters and I’s “song” because this is exactly how I feel. Ciara is so much more than an entertainer-- she's an inspiration to women-- let's expect more of men. I dont' post all the time but, when I see her on TV I think the situation with Future would have ended her career but this Phoenix came out this situation smelling like a rose!!! I am pregnant, playing music, came across this song and started singing it. My baby started moving like crazy. I stopped singing, he stopped. I played another song, he didn’t move. I started to sing this song again and he started moving again. It was that moment that I bonded with my son for the first time. Since then, I’m always playing this song and singing it to him. The lyrics are soo touching, makes me cry every time.
