Becoming a YouTuber

I'm at a point in my life right now where I have to figure out how to exist as an adult and maybe even believe that that is possible for me. This really helps. Thank you, TimTom.

As someone who is currently unemployed and in a "this has to work because it's all I have left" situation I think about this video a lot. Sometimes it's honestly the only thing keeping me going

I got very inspired by this. I always felt like I was trying to be someone I couldn't be, I tried to be cool but I just felt like I wanted to be myself, I found what I wanted to be in your channel. An animator. So I got Adobe Animate and some other equipment I had and started making animations about 6 months ago after seeing your videos, but nothing was working out for me. I had no good stories and I felt like I wasn't good enough to be an animator. I stopped animating for about 2-3 months. But after finding your video it gave me the courage to start again and continue. I thought for like 2 weeks on a story I could settle on and I found one, I started animating and recording the audio and it's turning out really well so far. I always think of what your mom said every time I'm feeling down and hopeless because you never know what tomorrow will bring. Thank you Tim for your amazing work and dedication. It really helped me to continue with animating and other things in life that I had a hard time with.

All jokes aside here, this is one if the most important video I watched and made me get through some tough times. Thanks Tim. Not only are you the computer kid, you're the positive man

this actually gave me more confident for myself to keep on going where i started on because i had an friends that said theres no way you will get in the recomended because there are so many other youtubers that have better equipment but i ignored that fact and started i had some support of my friends and my gf so the only thing i need now is an better pc some people to work with and have fun so long everybody is happy and is having fun it doesn't matter if it cost something you do it to make others happy and feel better when its neded

This was really deep. You should never “give up” in life. There will probably be something that you’ll miss out on later in life. My great-grandma wanted to give up, but she didn’t. And guess what? She got to live long enough to see my birth. That’s only one example why you shouldn’t give up in life.

So I literally just found this channel. I think your attitude is admirable, and something I strive to achieve. Being able to look at the past and failure with levity, rather than seeing it as a personal moral failure is extremely important. To be ok with and understand how much things that seem silly from the perspective of an adult may have bothered you as a child. I DID give up, and the hardest thing is to get back up again. Your attitude is one of the little things that are really helpful to people like me. It forces me to reflect on things I experienced from a different light, and with a different attitude.

Very... inspiring. It actually made me think back on my life,everything I did, who I was, what I could've done, and so on.

This hit hard and helped my depression so I went back re watched it and filled me with joy

This video actually gives me some what of an inspiration, not to be corny or anything seeing how this is just another youtube comment out of the millions, there are many facets I have wanted to go down in life and I wont lie and say this video gave me the answers..but I did cry in a pleasant way during and after watching this. I hope I amount to something.

i honestly relate to the "I dont have stuff figured out." Because in reality no one does. Same with jobs. you might think you'll stay being a *insert job name* you might lose interest and feel burnouts and etc. its okay to feel lost but everyone changes, its scary but we can get through this! you will never know what tomorrow will bring so just stay in the moment realistically be smart and try to plan things out but not far ahead!

I feel bad saying I'm happy he quit VidCon because of how he described it- but honestly pursuing his interest in storytelling, filming ect. by making a YT channel has definitely changed more than just his life! Me and a friend of mine have always looked up to storytime TRvidrs because of how open they seemed and TimTom is no exception, he definitely played a part in helping us out during life!! Man Tim Tom, i really really needed this. I just got turned down for Assistant Manager for something I have been working for 5 years at. And this really touched home and nearly teared me up a bit. Keep doing great Tom. I’ll admit the first time I came across on of your videos I thought,” oh look another copy of the Odd1sout.” And yes a lot of artists/storytellers/etc now use a similar style and it wasn’t right of me to judge. Your right it isn’t about the art; it’s about the story and lesson that comes from it. Everyone can learn and grow and sure if someone is looking for some big fancy artist that has mind blowing skills sure maybe this isn’t for them, but it sure is for the rest of us. On TRvid today it seems like there is less heart and more excitement so it’s refreshing to still have some who don’t just jump on the bandwagon and go after something better.

The yt algorithm is really mess up like it recommend a horrible traced animatic, but not a real animatic. It's weird. I'm still starting to grow on yt and a tinzy bit on insta as an animator/artist, your video give me hope that everyone can grow up their own channel. Really enjoyed the video.
