@Aloe Vera it’s been done so many times, hell you can do it in person with a setup I’ve seen. To where it looks like you’re legit doing it in person. Lol Though it would make it even more amazing on Caleb’s videos. Then again ill still love them. 😂
You already saw it man, he just said that with a hundred percent seriousness in the video. You don't need us saying it for you. What is wrong with you? How could you not see this? (Que in the CalebCity crazy music)
Plot twist: The detective is actually american, and in America they read comics from left to right, while manga is from right to left. Thus, he can see the panels ahead of time.
If that's the case, then wouldn't his knowledge contain everything from the death of the Universe back to until the day he was born, and every single historical event that happened before him would be anathema to his very understanding?
"Hey, I'm here for the interview" "Okay, what's your power?" "I'm such a good detective it warps reality and grants me omniscience about anything I develop even slight insight into" "And the drawback?" "I can only do it when the camera's on me" "And what do you do when the camera's not on you?" "Mostly alcoholism and mourning the death of my wife"
Deathnote in a nutshell: Light: "I'm going to do something completely unexpected that only depends on the fact that L doesn't know anything about me" L: "I know everything. Trust me."
@Sindri There was some similar shit in Sherlock Holmes stories. Like a suspect coincidentally using the same sound "Kou" instead of "Hi" as the real criminal, and also his dying father describing a killer to him as "he is from Ballarat" instead of just saying "this is John Taner, father of your gf".
I rarely ever watch anime, but I remember when I was a kid I used to have a crush on Detective Conan, this was how things basically goes: - the hands in pockets - half face smirking mouth camera shots - the "hmph" laugh - pushing their eye glasses with their fingers or the eyes shadow where you can only see their mouth - that calm and cool voice while explaining how the crime happened - shining eye glasses in the darkness - the shot where the character is in the darkness with a streak of light shining diagonally on them
Anime detective: (gives elaborate deduction) Guy with him: so that's how the robber stole the green jewel Detective: (turns to him dramatically) I knew it Guy: huh? Detective: I never said the jewel was green Guy: (sweating) what? Detective: it was you Guy: I- but- don't be ridiculous Detective: I knew it was you from the beginning when we first met (gives another elaborate deduction)
He holds his head and begins trembling, you can see his sense of reality melting away in his eyes “Bro, shut up for a second” He pleads as his shock begins to overwhelm him “SHUTUP!” He screams, gasping for air, as he holds his knees to keep them from buckling under the immense weight of what is unfolding in front of his eyes
Bro, why are we not talking about how the victim WHO WAS ROBBED did not tell the detectives that the robbery occurred in their super secret side room that looks identical to their living room does. Like, seriously, does a super villain own this place?
ZA WARUDO funny when I first saw jotaro and dio I thought it was a detective anime dio was some mob boss and jotaro a detective turned out to be a much better anime tho
the explanation frm the anime later: the door unlike most recent houses doesnt have an automatic door closer and there is no sign of forced entry. So the door might be fake. By knocking on the door, the sturdiness of the door is tested by the sound (a new door has a different knocking sound). he asked him to lick the door to see his reaction to it, if the paint on the door was new he would have commented on it. since it isnt new, this house must be an older model. By whistling, the pitch is enough to cause a door tht is not properly latched to open, briefly. This kind of back to back design is unique to a very special chuck E cheese branch where the back and front are similarly designed. To know this much abt it, the culprit must spend a lot of time there, noone spends tht much time unless they are an employee. Most employees there are college students.Of course, judging by the angle of the fall and print on the rug, the height can be easily calculated. *puts on glasses as ep starts*
I want to watch an anime or read a novel or whatever, where the protagonist actually _is_ just getting the answers magically, but has to pretend to work things out logically so all the normal people can follow along.
@Max G4 unzips floor: "You wrapped this boat around another boat to make us think we were riding one boat so you could travel in between them to kill us!"
I love how his big deduction leads to the conclusion that 'We know he was here', which they already knew anyway because this place had just been *robbed*.
* Sips tea while spinning around in chair* I mean Ranpo isn't the main character but would you like me to introduce you to the greatest detective with his * cough cough* ability *cough* Allow me to introduce you to Bungou Stray dogs my friend-
I just had an idea for a new anime plot. So this anime is from the perspective of the side kick. Like Western detective series are often made, because the sidekicks are more relatable to the average viewer. So sidekick starts off as a hard working policeman, and gets to work with MC on a case. They work well together and over the firs few Arcs, it's just your regular detective show, with sidekick and MC befriending each other and even moving in together and sidekick eventually quitting his police job to work closer with the MC. But then one day sidekick's suspicion arises He can't proof it, but he suspects MC to be secretly involved in a lot of the crimes they solved before, but he can't say for sure, and he can't proof it. The show then slowly drifts to psychological horror similar to Death Note or even Hannibal. The main difference though is that you never know for if the MC (i.e. the detective) is actually the bad guy or not. Whenever you think that you (and the sidekick) got it right, there is a new detail revealed that points into another direction. I think that would be a lot of fun, but something like this is hard to write I guess.
@Xiofo XOX Looking at a synopsis, not sure if that's exactly what's being mentioned here, but I suppose I can't know without watching. Also looks interesting anyways, so thanks for the suggestion.
Will no one appreciate how fast the police department is. The guy with the detective literally just ordered them to take a chopper to chuckycheezes and one sec later they captured the culprit
Detectives in Anime: Have figured everything out before you can even comprehend the plot. Detectives in Video Games: You have figured the entire plot, motive etc since 2 hours ago. Main Character: So if the blood was in that room instead of the room where the body was...HE WAS KILLED IN ANOTHER ROOM!
This is basically me on every pair work for any project. Side character: Me trying to understand the problem Main character: My friend knowing completely what to do to solve the problem while I sit beside him fully dumbfounded
1:57 If we'd seen the clue in the other room that would've actually been a fair deduction/assumption (we only know it was moved but that's something I'd just go along with) to make.
I just realized, he is such a professional, yet he didn't realize that his companion didn't actually lick the door Edit: this is for joke purposes only
