When I went to the theaters when Infinity war came out, it was crazy. People were excited to the max and shocked us viewers. People were excited for Endgame , but it wasn't the same anticipation as infinity war.

Game Bond Correct. You can always tell, because they are not about how much they loved Infinity War - and never have been. It’s just the best they’ve got by way of criticism. Lately some of them have been saying Joker is “better”. Let me just say... 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 To that. And timing betrayed DC unfortunately as Parasite - is sooo... much better version of the film Joker could have been.

I mean there was no way endgame was losing when it came to emotional pay off.... The same way infinity war should have won in action, it was completely actions packed, like come on.

Syed Noore Rasul Nah, i’m sorry but you can keep making the mistake of naming Infinity War for action because there is more of it. EndGame will always win for action because it has the best action scene ending for any Fantasy film in history -> Infinity War was never noted primary for great action, but more for shocking conclusion.

Cosmic photon blast from Captain Marvel. Places Thanos in a head lock. For a moment it looks like Thanos is pulling up the ground from beneath them using the Gauntlet (oh no!), but it’s... Banner exploding up from Beneath the floor to Grab Thanos Gauntlet hand. War Machine crashes in from the other side to grab the other and then..... [slosh!] Thor swoops in with StormBreaker to cut off the Guantlet hand. Best take down ever. To those who say there is no action in the early part of the film - this one scene is better than all the action in BvS, plus Shazaaam, plus AquaMan plus Justice League. [note: I give WonderWoman props for her WWI scene where she breaks thru the trenches - that was equally bad ass. 😂]

Point is, it’s quality that matters with action, not quantity. No one remembers any of the action in BvS or Justice League because it was all done so poorly.

Wong: *The Big Bang sent six elemental crystals, hurtling across the virgin universe. These Infinity Stones each control an essential aspect of existence.* Best way to understand the stones is to consider the essential nature of what they represent: Power - power is literally matter and energy (energy and matter are different forms of the same thing in physics) - so the power stone controls all matter and energy in the universe. Mind - This is all consciousness and all thought Soul - This is the everlasting spiritual essence of living things - and encompasses spiritual concepts like good and evil, heaven and hell. Space - this is all of the physical geometry in which matter and energy and mind and soul exist, including different dimensions and realms - like Asgard or the Quantum realm. Time - all of time from the beginning till ‘if exists’ the end of time. Reality- these are the laws of the universe - when they are altered or ‘violated’ the result is what we call mysticism or magic. Combining this you have,,,,,,, Omnipotence - power Omnipresence - space Ominimystical - reality Omniscients - mind Eternity - time Immortality - soul __________________________ To wield the gauntlet therefore is to command the entire Universe. However to do this the gauntlet and the gauntlet bearer must be able to contain and control the entire universe. The Gauntlet bearer needs to have incredible physical, mental and spiritual strength, with knowledge of the stones and of the gauntlet. The Gauntlet does not have the power - it helps protect the user from the power. Potentially bringing the six crystals together without the Gauntlet could as implied by Wong - create a new singularity. The Infinity Gauntlet is not a dumb bomb that can be triggered remotely, and it’s not a magical lamp that just figures out how to make wishes come true. It is literally the bearers ability to successfully pilot or control the Universe - and do so without destroying it, and or destroying themselves.

The reason this is worthwhile to understand is that a lot of misconceptions about what happens in the film occur when you don’t grasp the above. For example: -> Have Ironman place the stones on a drone amor and then have that armor remotely snap. This makes no sense because there is no body mind or soul inside the armor.... the physical act of snapping is just symbolic anyway. It’s about the being controlling the universe - it’s not a dumb bomb with a trigger. -> Have any powerful being do the snap. Power isn’t enough. The soul stone was shown to be oblivious to power - as the most powerful beings in the Universe had tried to control the soul stone, and failed: Per Red Skull: *We all think we are prepared at first. We are all wrong* Same is true with the other stones: The Red Skull tried to control the space stone - but was transported to a living hell in Vormir where his ghost spends an eternity guarding the stones which *he can never possess.* Yet, I’ve heard someone suggest that they should have sent Hulk 🙄 to Vormir to rage out and take the Stone from the skull. 😂 Captain Marvel gains power from the space stone: But she absorbed power from an exploding space stone. No one knows what would happen if she came into direct contact with multiple stones. IN GOTG when celestials each gathered one stone unto themselves - they then joined in an attempt to control the Universe - but ended up destroying themselves: The Collector: *Before creation itself, there were six singularities. Then the universe exploded into existence, and the remnants of these systems were forged into concentrated ingots. Infinity Stones. These stones, it seems, can only be brandished by beings of extraordinary strength. Once, for a moment, a group was able to share the energy amongst themselves, but even they were quickly destroyed by it.* The mind stone: Is the living conscious mind of the Universe - somehow it helped to create Ultron, to control the mind stone one would need a powerful mind that is not subsumed or perverted by the stone, or even driven insane by it. Something to bear in mind as the Wanda/Vision Disney series leads in to Dr. Strange Multiverse of Madness.

Santa Clause Comedy and tragedy work together for sophisticated viewers, whereas the unsophisticated cannot process either correctly - not to mention both at the same time. There is an entire Army of Thor fanboy whiners who swear that Taika Waititi destroyed Thor in Ragnorok - when the truth is - Ragnorok is the *only good Thor film ever made.* F3k those idiots. 😂

Endgame was great. My only issue is that the final battle needed to be longer and needed to have more. It was awesome to see the portal scene followed by the two armies running at each other. Great. However, what followed should've been better. Here's how: 1. We should've seen more character team ups and collaborations. Otherwise, having them all there means less. We could've seen the Guardians fight beside Captain America; The Hulk team up with Black Panther; Spider-Man work with Ant Man and the Wasp. You get the idea. We didn't really get any of this, and considering this is the last movie for some of these characters, I can't help but wonder why we didn't see this? Apparently there was a scrapped/deleted scene where Ant Man (giant form) is about to throw Hulk into the battle field, while Hulk is holding Spider-Man to do the same. Why did they cut this? It would've been a great moment. Another deleted idea is Iron Man, War Machine, Rescue (Pepper), and Spider-Man all fighting side by side. I think these kinds of character collabs would have added more excitement to the battle. 2. The Black Order was there but we didn't really see them. Aside from Ebony Maw attacking Black Panther, we don't see them in action. This was also wasted potential. We also could have seen the Black Order just destroying the heroes' army to show their power and might, but we didn't. 3. This battle would've been the perfect chance to redeem Thor and Hulk. I 100% understand and appreciate the arc that these two characters had in Endgame. So why were they underplayed in the final battle? Yes, Hulk's right arm was damaged... but he's the Hulk. This battle should've given him a lot more screen time. As for Thor, everyone complained about him seeming weak and pathetic in this film. He should've gone all out in this battle. Instead, after the portals scene we don't seem him at all other than him cracking a joke with Cap, and one short and SIMPLE fight against Thanos that lasts no more than 10 seconds. Where was Thor's rage? Why didn't we see him obliterate hundreds of Thanos' soldiers by using lightning and pure power? I think that had they properly utilized these characters in the battle, nobody would complain about them at all. 4. The infinity stones. Except for Thanos using the power stone to punch Captain Marvel, we don't see the stones in action AT ALL. Yet another missed opportunity. Something I loved about Infinity War was the usage of the stones. I was so excited to see more of this in Endgame. 5. The final battle was too short, and the heroes won too easily. I loved the end with Iron Man snapping his fingers. I just think that this should have been a far more difficult task for them. Following the portals scene, the battle is just 11 minutes - including several stops for characters to talk and crack jokes - way too short for the final battle of an entire saga. A combination of my first four points could have easily doubled this number. I remember seeing the final battle end and thinking, "wow, that's it?" Don't get me wrong... It's enjoyable. Just too short and underwhelming. If I were to recreate this scene how I am imagining, this is what it would be: A) "Avengers Assemble" happens as is, followed by the armies charging at each other. However, this time include MORE shots of battle between the armies. Include some cool shots of heroes working together (Iron Man and War Machine side by side, Ant Man throwing the Hulk, etc). Include some 1v1s between a hero and a Black Order member (Obsidian vs Hulk, Maw vs Strange, Glaive vs Black Panther, Midnight vs Spider-Man). Finally, include a group of 3-4 heroes attack Thanos, only to be overpowered by him (this would especially be great using characters who barely encounter him - Black Panther, Bucky, Drax, War Machine... working together to try to fight him, only to lose). This could be followed by someone stronger, Scarlett Witch, showing up as she does. B) At some point when the gauntlet is being shuffled around, have some stones fall out into the field. If three or four stones fall out and make their way to Thanos, the stakes change and it adds an entire new layer to the battle. Imagine if after Thanos' ship falls, he is angry but now has access to a few stones. Out of rage, he uses the stones to send a massive fiery tornado through the battle field, killing hundreds of soldiers and sending debris flying everywhere. Thor and Captain Marvel team up to take him on, and it's an epic duel similar to Thanos vs Doctor Strange in IW. He uses the soul stone to resurrect Cull Obsidian who dies after being crushed by Ant Man. He uses the space stone to shift gravity so the heroes can't charge toward him. So many possibilities. The heroes also use their remaining stones to their advantage too, trying desperately to avoid another Thanos victory. C) It seems like the heroes are about to win. Some of the more powerful heroes, including, Cap Marvel, Doc Strange, Scarlet Witch and Thor, manage to slow Thanos down long enough to severely wound him again. As it seems like he's about to die, the reality stone reveals it was all a lie - Thanos is actually alive and strong. He now has 5 stones, easily overpowers these characters, and the heroes begin to realize that they cannot simply defeat him. That's when Tony realizes he must sacrifice himself. The last couple minutes of the battle focuses on the original team battling Thanos. The other heroes hold off the army and Black Order while Iron Man, Cap, Thor, Hulk and Hawkeye desperately try to survive and make a stand. The only stone they have is the mind stone, which is used to slow Thanos. He's so strong that they cannot mind control him, but are able to cloud his mind and slow him down long enough for Iron Man to take the other 5 stones and attach them to his armor. Then this is followed by the "I am Iron Man" scene. Basically, I just think that this battle needed way more to it. So many characters got no action. The stones weren't really used. They won so quickly and easily. Endgame could've been far better had they fixed this up, in my opinion. This would have especially made a difference because IW had action throughout, whereas Endgame had it mostly only toward the end - so it should've been a lot more action during that final fight.

Can’t agree I’m sorry. The things you want to see are boring, to me, compared to what we do see. Nebula confronts her past self - and kills the woman she was - who can’t change in order to become the woman she is. That was utterly riveting. Instead you want to see silly shit with her smashing a CGI alien. Justice League is filled with endless empty spectacle and carnage - just like you crave. How’d that work out?

@Summer Tyme Just my opinion, you don't need to be so harsh. Some of these points are inspired by other posts and videos I have seen. I make that point about the stones because in Infinity War they were amazing, but we did not see the powers of every stone used. Having the stones used a few times in the final battle would not make the movie a repeat of IW, and it wouldn't make the film suck. Just because someone has a different opinion or idea than you do, doesn't mean it "sucks"

The reason Endgame always wins this battle is because many more people love the film. Scores of folks online have flat out said *Endgame is the best film or one of the best film’s they’ve ever seen.* If you notice carefully - this is *not* the case with Infinity War. Infinity War is only used to get salty about Endgame. So they don’t say *I love Infinity War.* [because they don’t really]. They just say infinity War is better than Endgame. And ultimately that’s a losing argument. The conversation literally ends up being about EndGame, til Infinity War is just an after thought at a minimum , or a tool for criticizing EndGame at most. If you don’t love Infinity War - then you’re not going to be able to use the film to stop other film goers from loving EndGame.

Vado Bless You’re not making any sense. It is a fact that the issue is quality of action. And your response is about quantity of action. You’ve said absolutely nothing that can establish how the quality of action is better in Infinity War. Do you know why? Because it isn’t. *The Final Battle of ‘Avengers: Endgame’ Puts ‘Infinity War’ to Shame* www.slashfilm.com/endgame-final-battle/ Endgame has the best fantasy action scene of all time, and that makes it better. How -much- action is in any other film - is completely irrelevant fo this.

@Summer Tyme while I do respect your in depth response on this I will still largely disagree. This isn't even about fandom my friend. I watched both movies and really enjoyed both films different take. As it relates to a more compelling and thorough storytelling I gave that to Endgame but I would never score it as the better action film. Whether people want to hate Michael Bay's films or not it still doesn't deny the fact that he makes good action films. Maybe not good films on a whole but where the actions are concerned they are intriguing. Yes Endgame has the most amazing set piece in the final chapter but that doesn't mean it's regarded as an action film or even the better action film mainly because it never had a lot action. Having one amazing final action is not enough to say it is better than Infinity War with several memorable action scenes. Infinity not only kept the pace better for action but also kept it interesting with the pace. So no I don't regard it as the better action film as much I do still enjoy watching it.

Avengers: Endgame (arc words) "Whatever it takes" for the surviving Avengers determined to bring back the people they lost to the Decimation. These are the words that Black Widow and Hawkeye repeat when they realize that the Soul Stone demands a sacrifice from one of them. "Move on" in the early part of the movie, as the characters try to adapt to the effects of the Decimation, and that they had no way of undoing it at first. Move on is also in how Thanos express disappointment at the heroes for trying to undo the work of his future self. "I am inevitable" from Thanos. The line is first used by the retired Thanos defiantly saying that his work is irreversible to the Avengers. It is later repeated when warrior Thanos watches the recording of his future death. And it is the last thing that warrior Thanos says before realizing that Iron Man has the Infinity Stones and uses them to kill him and his army, thereby averting the inevitable altogether. "I am Iron Man": Going all the way back to the first Iron Man movie and the start of the Marvel Cinematic Universe; Tony Stark repeats it at the end of the third Iron Man movie, and repeats it one last time at Avengers: Endgame, before he uses the Infinity Stones against Thanos and his army.

Avengers (Continuity Nods) Infinity War (2018): 04/27/2018 Endgame (2019): 04/26/2019 Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015) ·Bruce Banner is dismayed to hear Tony Stark's lost track of Vision, this alludes to Ultron and that Iron Man built and lost control of him. ·When Bruce Banner reveals himself to the Secret Avengers, the Falcon notes the discomfort of the moment when Bruce Banner and Black Widow greet each other. When last saw each other, they were about to start their romantic relationship until Bruce Banner/the Incredible Hulk flew off to outer space in the Quinjet, abandoning Black Widow. This comes up earlier in the Sanctum Sanctorum, when Tony Stark remarks to Bruce Banner, "We haven't caught up in a spell, have we?" Infinity War is set roughly three years after Age of Ultron. ·Since the Incredible Hulk will not come out, Bruce Banner pilots a new model of the Hulkbuster armor. Since he helped design the original, he is actually the next most qualified to use it after Tony Stark. ·When Iron Man reunites with the Avengers, he recalls the idea from Endgame of building a suit of armor around the world to protect Earth against alien attacks, and he recalls Captain America's words that if they would lose, they would so together, from Age of Ultron. ·Captain America summoning Thor's hammer pays off the montage of characters attempting to move the hammer in Age of Ultron, where Captain America was able to make the hammer budge before giving up. Thor's elation at seeing Captain America wield the hammer recalls the fact that he clearly noticed Captain America's near success in Age of Ultron. ·Hawkeye's homestead and family show up again in Avengers: Endgame. ·At the end of Avengers: Age of Ultron, Tony Stark comments, "maybe I should take a page out of Barton's book. Build Pepper a farm, hope nobody blows it up." After the five year time skip, he has indeed settled down with Pepper Potts and started a family, only they live in a remote woodland location instead of a farming land. ·Captain America now uses the same curse word freely in exasperation, while Tony Stark had to his beloved daughter not to say the bad word like a sweet old schoolteacher. ·Thor drinks from the same alcohol bottle he had in Age of Ultron while he is talking to his mother. ·Bruce Banner/Professor Hulk is the most upset by the death of Black Widow, and is actually shown losing his composure twice while grieving for her: rare moments where the Hulk half of his psyche seems to briefly regain control. ·Captain America gives the Avengers, Assemble battle cry, which was cut off by the end credits in Avengers: Age of Ultron. ·During the final battle, Captain America's indestructible shield is broken in half by Thanos. This is exactly what happened in the nightmare of Iron Man. ·Another vision that came true is that Captain America ends up getting that dance with Peggy Carter. The difference is that he is content to live his life without a war to fight at that point. ·A trio of characters fire a constant beam of energy at an enemy to disable him. In Avengers: Age of Ultron, Iron Man fires hand blasters, Vision fires his Mind Stone beam and Thor fires lightning from his hammer at Ultron Prime to injure him. On Avengers: Endgame, Pepper Potts/Rescue fires her beams, Shuri fires her gauntlets, and the Wasp fires her blasters at Thanos to disable him while Captain Marvel approaches the Quantum Tunnel through the van.

Avengers (Continuity Nods) Infinity War (2018): 04/27/2018 Endgame (2019): 04/26/2019 The Avengers (2012) ·Loki mentions he has experience on Earth, which Thanos counters is actually failure. As Bruce Banner tells Tony Stark, Thanos was Loki's master who sent him to Earth. ·Loki prefaces the Hulk's surprise attack on Thanos aboard the Asgardian ship with, "We have a Hulk," which Tony Stark said to him before the climactic battle of New York. ·Heimdall uses dark magic to transport Hulk to Earth without the Bifrost, just as Odin had to do to send Thor to Earth. ·Much like the warehouse scene, Bruce Banner wakes up sitting in a massive crater after Hulk has jumped out of the sky and into a building. In this case, Doctor Strange's Sanctum Sanctorum. ·When Thanos invades and purges Gamora's home world, the Chitauri are seen helping him do it. ·At the end of the climax in the Avengers, Iron Man asks "what just happened?" and Captain America answers him "we won." At the end of the climax in Infinity War, War Machine asks Captain America what is happening with Captain America muttering they lost in shock. ·In the Avengers, Tony Stark has a conversation suggesting that Bruce Banner became the Incredible Hulk for a reason, and that the big guy was keeping Banner alive as part of a greater purpose. In Endgame, he understands that the purpose is to use the Infinity Stones to resurrect half of the universe, noting that he was made to handle intense amounts of gamma radiation. ·Tony Stark once again attempts to bond with someone by sharing his blueberries (Bruce Banner and Steve Rogers in the Avengers, Nebula in Avengers: Endgame) ·Tony Stark's apocalyptic log for Pepper Potts mentions his final dying thoughts will be of her; just as he intended for the final thing he saw while redirecting the warhead in the Avengers would be her face. As Tony Stark lays dying in the aftermath of the Battle of Titan against Thanos, Pepper Potts is the last person he sees as she comforts him to rest for the final time. ·We see here what happens outside the plot of Endgame, such as Iron Man telling everyone to stop posing and all of the actions taking place after the battle. ·When Alexander Pierce inquires where Thor and Iron Man are going with the Space Stone and Loki, Thor responds with lunch and then Asgard. This references the Shawarma stinger at the end of the first Avengers movie as well as Thor and Loki using the Space Stone to return home. ·On their way to Vormir, Hawkeye/Ronin comments that he and Black Widow are a long way from Budapest, recalling a noodle incident adventure mentioned in the Avengers. ·When Thanos recognizes that humans who will fight him in the future are the Avengers, he calls them "unruly wretches," referencing the way the Other called them when he was reporting back to Thanos. ·Thor attempted to use his hammer on Captain America's shield, resulting in a massive, destructive percussive wave. Captain America uses this on purpose while dual wielding his shield and Thor's hammer while fighting Thanos. ·Thor accidentally supercharged the Iron Man suit by blasting it with lightning. Come the final battle, and Tony Stark has added a charging system specifically so that Thor can do it again, only more efficiently and powerfully this time. ·The Battle of New York sees the return of the Chitauri, the army Thanos sent to invade Earth in 2012, as well as many monsters and ships featured in unused concept art for both the Battle of Wakanda in Avengers: Infinity War and the Battle of Earth in Avengers: Endgame. ·Tony Stark lists out all the people that Loki pissed off. Judging by how many have come to the final battle, it's safe to say that there is an entire universe that Thanos pissed off. ·Iron Man commits a heroic sacrifice by taking the Infinity Stones from Thanos and wearing them himself. The music that plays during this scene directly parallels him sending the nuke into the Chitauri command center. ·Banner feared the Incredible Hulk so much that he would call him the other guy. This time in Endgame, as Professor Hulk, he tries the same therapy for Thor who cannot bear hearing Thanos' name.

I got Spoiled Infinity War in many different ways...And Endgame I got spoiled none of it!!!! Infinity War 10 Minutes In: *Kills Loki* Me: I LOVE LOKI...WHY DID YOU DO THAT?!!! 😭😭😭 (AIW was Hiddleston's Best) Endgame 10 Minutes Before It Ends: *Gives Captain America a Happy Ending* Me: Thank You!!! 😭😭😭 (AE was Evan's Best) Endgame Wins in My Opinion!!! (BTW I Love Steve and Loki...But more Loki!!!)

Oh yes man Infinity war was fast and just Thor was strong and everybody else fucked up. While in Endgame we see the best Captain Marvel and everybody becomes part of the best Avengers team ever and the time travel and final battle are just.... god

@Summer Tyme I get that although to me Endgame was a better directed movie but infinity war was action pack and thrilling

Kodie Cunningham Not even that. You are comparing two 1/2 of one movie. 😎 EndGame is not sequel to Infinity War. The entire story was written at once, and the snap is just the 1/2 mark between the two.
