Anna Wintour, Editor-in-Chief of Vogue and Artistic Director at Condé Nast, joins Tina Brown, founder and CEO of Tina Brown Live Media/Women in the World, for a revealing conversation on fashion, motherhood, and politics.
This was such interesting interview. She has accomplished so much in her lifetime and I think Anna is one of the most inspirational women in the world.
I LOVE how Anna didnt reveal anything more personal that Diana may have said at that lunch. She focused on her personal style and legacy. Very classy, Ms. Wintour.

For a high school drop out, She has accomplished a lot more than those who have MBAs. . . She is MORE than the Devil Wears Prada. Admire her more for this interview
NCT illichi The success of Vogue and the Met can’t be bought. She worked to achieve the level she’s at. She may have had opportunity, but she took that and worked to build Vogue to what it is today.
I love her, no matter how she was taunted by others I still love her.. She's my role model to be a great leader and be far more greater what ever you are doing.
Terrific interview. For more Anna : 'The September Issue' is worth hunting down, the film shows Anna at work, pulling the magazine together, plus the wonderful Grace Coddington, Andre Leon Talley, the late great Karl Lagerfeld, Sienna Miller and so much more. 💗 JT x
So how much things have changed in a year for Ms. Wintour. Her son is a physician who suffered through COVID and is back to work. No doubt she has been impacted by this, all of us have. Our values, understanding the importance of everyone we work with, understanding that we are all one family and those "under" us actually hold us up and hold up the whole system. God is trying to tell us something, love one another as I have loved you.
Although people want to present different picture about Anna’s personality on the opposite she is lovely, talkative, sensitive, simply just an ordinary girl. She is very professional so at work se must be strict and down to business
GREAT interview between two accomplished people, which makes for a refreshing change! (Some interviews with Anna Wintour elsewhere have resorted to the usual hackneyed questions and have even been downright insulting.)
Her politics are naïve and the point of view she represents are over. She basically said it herself at the end when she mentioned ability over identity but what she doesn’t realize is America is already there and dems are about to be obliterated fantastically. She had an amazing run though....
God, she is so unprepossessing for an empress of fashion. Her mousy little print dresses call to mind all those BBC series about nurses and other stalwart women surviving the blitz.
I still miss Karl, such a sudden loss. Brings tears to my eyes. I often wonder who manages Choupette and still enjoy wearing items of clothing that depict both. I found it interesting to know he never had anything to do with design other than couture.
Anna Wintour you have such good taste. You are Vogue. Could you do 73 questions with Hailee Steinfeld? She is a great actress and singer and has wisdom beyond her years. Thank you. Mark
In todays world it seems that people who are very successful in their line of work (and told that they are) segue into other fields thinking they have the same level of expertise. They dole out commentary and advice with the assertiveness of someone who has spent their life in that particular area. That said I do see that more often than not "regular" people are coming to this realization and seem to be turned off by this quasi god like complex. I am a firm believer in knowing your line of work as best you can. I admire Anna for her masterful grasp of her line of work however I do feel that commentary and personal opinion outside of your area of expertise should be expressed in limited fashion (no pun intended).
So from this I gather that you have a PhD in Politics. Either that, or this is a misguided comment. Apart from "their line of work", (some) people also have something called "critical thinking", and are knowledgeable about the world around them. Also, freedom of opinion (on either aisle). The most glaring and ironic example of people being told they're successful and segueing into other fields based on that is Trump. Who has no critical thinking whatsoever. Just ego, lust for power, and a love for Kim (not the Kardashian) and Vladimir.
Got to meet her ounce she happened to be in the same building I was working in she stepped into the lift I was in she just started chatting to me like a normal person I like her think she gets a bad rap
Maybe I missed something. Is she Starina and back from Safari on “The Bird Cage”? She’s got the safari print, but where’s this blind woman walking stick?
I didn’t like Tina Brown’s interviewing style, and for goodness sake, if you ask a question please be polite enough to listen to the answer without speaking over the interviewee.
So , you two women knew each other did not have/ get time to gossip over a cup of tea with a cloud of milk .... throughout !!!!!! Now you setup a conference and "Gossip" Bloody holy cow !!! Very intimidating, indeed ......... Cheers to Tea !!!
@Carlos Castellani Probably none of your fucking business, that many times, and she wears them all the time but has taken them off in several interviews and speeches and likely was going to do the same for this one
Hmmmm......was wondering about the too perfect coif on Anna, also. Get rid of the shades, too. Anna, you're full of facial lines and wrinkles and that's OK!! No need to hide your ageing skin.
Anna..,ti vedo tropo rilasciata adesso..,stai molto bene.Sei innamorata..??🤗😂EFETO DEL AMORE CHE TI FA RINGIOVANIRE COSI.DIO TI BENEDICA E TI PROTEGGA BELLA ANNA.TANTO SUCCESSO E AMORE CON SALUTE.🤗🤗
Reffering to Anna's high fashion designer dresses "uniform" is an insults and disrespectful to Anna and the designers how rude. My guess the interviwer insult is made out of envy it is obvious she do not have the test or the money to wear designer dresses every single day of the year. the most she can do is to wear weitress uniform with a bad hair.
It’s not a wig, there are pictures out there of her hair blowing in the wind and you can see that it’s real, also with the comment abt her being high...🤣🤣 very very unlikely
@artist one Yes, it's time she retired. She's a ageing print autocrat in a world of digital content where old-style bullies are shunned in the workplace. I'm sure Trump is a better boss than Icy Wintour.
