The only complaint i have with the first season was that Annette's romantic feelings for Richter came a little out of nowhere, don't get me wrong i still think they are cute together and i ship them but i can't deny that Anette liking Richter during that scene in episode 7 felt like it came out of nowhere. I would have made it so that after Richter got his purpose and powers back there's a scenario where Annette gets jumped by a vampire squad with the vampire that killed her mother leading it, she kills a few enemies but gets eventually cornered and about to get killed but Richter comes and saves her killing all the "vampire minions" BUT lets her handle her mother's killer by herself so she can get that vengence and closure, that way she feels indebted to him and we have a chat in where both of them apoligize to each other, Richter apologizing for running and leaving the girls begind and Annette apologicing for judging him for a perfectly understandable response to trauma.
Peter's "friends" put that Dittany of Grete in the bowls he was smoking. That's why he was having such a coughing fit, and such a negative reaction to it. They were trying to make it easier for him to astral project, and get Paimon in his body.
Thanks for the break down of the film I watched it & it was cleverly done, I did think that Jay slept with one of the guys on the boat cos she drives back crying & I thought Paul passed it on to one of those 2 girls it was Sad that Greg didn't believe her & he died, I think if Hugh knew the girl he had a 1 night stand with maybe they could all of worked together to stopped the source, here's my theory as to why this girl started this curse, I think she's been abused constantly by boys she dated was raped etc & that's why she started it she wanted punish boys, it's cruel & sadistic but she did what she had to do to I think the abused girl Jay saw was the girl who had been raped was an interpretation of what this girl went through she will be traumatised for life so why didn't she curse the boys who did it why punish innocent boys who could be good guys like Paul bless him I hope that love does blossom between Jay & Paul he's loved her for a long time she will need stability & security i also think they should of found a way to stop it research on the Web maybe they could of found a way just my opinion.
If only the second screenwriter (not gareth Edwards) didn’t include such corny dialogue, this movie would’ve easily one of the best of the year. Incredible world building wasted on a half-baked script. S/O Greg Frasier and Gareth for crafting such an immersive universe though.
As I've said previously, I dislike the entire "world between worlds" shtick because it can be quite easily used as a "get outta jail free" card whenever things get dicey and in fact has been used twice in that capacity already, by saving Ahsoka's life, both against Vader and now Baylan. Iger-Disney uses this trope in their "Marvels" universe frequently. Though called "Multiverse" in their shows, it essentially is another cop-out to correct plot errors ill-conceived or futile. Regardless of what it's called, it's a course correction for the script and I've always disliked it. You can't have a show that grounds your characters on paths that we anticipate with dread or glee just to then, suddenly and successfully turn everything around on just a whim and have us accept it without question. That is NOT good writing.
I might be delusional(ok I am) but I lowkey feel like Luke is not dead??? Or maybe he’ll come back to life?? He was heavily involved in the promos and his actor has a big following on instagram so it dosent make sense for him to die the FIRST EPISODE??? This has been on my mind since the day it came out 😭
The Godfather, Star Wars, and The Shawshank Redemption I love all of those LOL. Also Clancy Brown "...the hardest screw that ever walked a turn at Shawshank State Prison".
Good film. I think they are working to replace Luther with the black agent who's chasing Ethan. He kept "asking questions," and I think Luther will die in part 2.
