People behind that movie seems to really love it. The way how Dickerson speaks about the process and the cast is absolutely inspiring and heartwarming. What a mix of professionality and kindness to each other, perfect chemistry. I don't cared about the movie itself, but after seeing so much love in creating this picture, I want to watch it!
Not so fun fact: in the last story of the movie, when they’re clockwork orange-ing the guy with with flashes of violence, one of the pictures is of my great great uncle, Father Miguel Agustin Pro, who was put before a firing squad in Mexico on trumped-up charges of attempting to assassinate the Mexican president(even though the actual attempted assassins had come forward and professed their guilt). His last request was to be allowed to hold his bible and rosary, as well as bless the members of the firing squad, and his last words were the defiant cry of the Cristeros - “Viva Cristo Rey”, before the men were ordered to fire. I’m not even a christian, but that’s some balls of steel shit, and I’m proud to be related to such a guy. You can actually see the picture in this video at 22:36
Freddy is fun & scary when he is a just a child murderer. He looks like one of the Avatar cats got shaved, you can’t do child rapist with such a goody design.
First way better. This was sucked. So rushed. Doesn’t have to have black director for it to be good as shown. First one was soo good and that was by Bernard Rose.
